There is a delay. I got mine 1-2 hrs later

Too dear@!

Be good if there was a dab versio

I've signed up but wasn't sent a code :/ does it get sent soon after signing up or is there a delay?

Partner swears by ours. Doesn't do a thing for me (I only get woken by the alarm that plays at the end of the sunrise sequence) but it doesn't really matter since it gets her up. Always rather be woken by the better three quarters than an alarm!

Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock HF3520/01 Coloured Sunrise Simulation - 5 Sounds and Radio Function £84.99 @ Amazon

The price is now down to £75, so much for the 24 hour "deal"

Because I bought the one from the deal the other day thinking it was a good deal as it had over 200 heat, then this one with a little less features gets incredibly down voted... Maybe the other one actually wasn't a good deal...

maybe the price, I personally do not know. I do wonder why some people get so concerned when a deal they post is voted as cold and ask for explanations. Do people get paid for posting deals?

yeah there are couple of feature different, Phillips don't exactly make it easy to find the differences. The most major one for me is that this one only has an 8 minute battery life, the 7 sounds one has a 4-8 hour battery life.

much as i hate to agree with tempt - its a lower model for only slightly lower price though the difference isn't only 2 sounds, even on the highlights spec comparison this one is missing a midnight light (whatever that is) as well as a usb port (for whatever reason) and there are probably some other differences this one has been this price before, the other one was a tenner cheaper than had ever been on amazon (ignoring lightning deals)

I assume that would cost alot more than £90! So this is a steal (highfive)

Makes £90 seem like the deal of decade.....

Seems difficult to justify until you've used one to be honest! I bought one last year after years of hearing praise for them but not wanting to shell out, and I'm so glad I did. Not sure about the settings on this one as I got one of the different models but the one I have makes such a difference, I much prefer being woken up gently by light rather than abruptly by sound. Probably not much use if you're the type of person can hop out of bed in the morning, but as the poster above says, if you struggle to wake up when it's dark outside these are absolutely worth the money as the autumn and winter mornings approach!

Bought one of these Philips alarm clocks years ago. Literally the best purchase I’ve ever made. Completely transformed my mornings. No longer woken up by an alarm going off in the pitch black in winter, feeling like it’s the middle of the night and so fast asleep I can barely open my eyes. This thing wakes me up naturally imitating day light and you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day. Best thing ever if you struggle waking up on dark winter mornings.

Ouch 90 quid. I have an alarm clock. 530 am every day. A 3 year old (lol)

I like the sound of that !

We returned ours due to it overheating, could have cooked an egg on it .

I can concur. The alarm is almost silent, seemingly designed by a surrealist joker who liked a lie in.

Yes certainly I did...but my mistake that I deleted the e-receipt and they were not willing to take it back. Lesson learnt the hard way that always ask for paper receipt and keep hold of it.

within 1 year so take back for replacement ;)

Bought one and was only able to use for a couple of months before it suddenly stopped.

Just bought one,can hardly hear the alarm,it's going back.

Never used one of these Chinese sites, but have noticed whenever posted by HUKD staff , says "requires to be logged in " to use the code . Now to Log in surely you have to register ? What details do you need to register ? Having got those details what further information can they glean from those details ? Apart from presumably loads of spam emails (skeptical) :S

Neither...It does Darth Vader heavy breathing :{

It's a ticker. Not super load though, a tv will easily block it out.

Can only imagine how annoying this is if the alarm goes off when it's full of money. Would be ideal for it's intended purpose.

Sorry I don't know, I've just bought it :)

Hi is it silent or does it tick tick? Only ask as little man can’t sleep through tick tocking! Tried before lol

Sorry for the late reply. (embarrassed) Mine projects onto the ceiling from my bedside table very clearly and the projection is the right way round not upside down one if the clock face is facing you then the projection will be facing the same way and not upside down or anything like that.

Been using this clock for about 2 years now, it's great as I wake up slowly about 15 minutes before the alarm actually goes off. One thing I will say is the buttons are so incredibly loud when pressing them but not a huge deal as you don't need to use them much. Also the display is very bright at night so often put my phone over it to cover it.

Mine does that, she gets up AFTER I make her a cup of tea (cheeky)

Pretty cool, you can just buy Wi-Fi bulbs to do the same kinda thing now tho. I use the Phillips hue ones with the orange glow

What if the Mrs gets up at a different time??

Does this work if you sleep with the curtains open? (ninja)

I don't have any problem, it was the OP that got snotty. I just think the £100 comment/link (from one seller - it says "some places" which is plural) compared to the other listings on Amazon for £15-20 may give a false impression. If you think differently, that's also fine.

Not sure what the problem is here - OP's entry reads fine to me. Just a remark about someone selling for a silly price. "Some" or "someone" - whatever. Heat

No complication at all, not sure what you're sorry for ;) - your quote says "some places sell it for around 100 quid" most places on Amazon sell it for around £15-20, not £100. You said "some".

Terribly sorry if that was too complicated – I'm suggesting it's well worth £13.58.

Are people really worried about their Echo's listening to their private conversations?

You can set it up from the website without installing the app, that's how I did mine.

Had one of these but sent it back it's so unreliable at it's most basic function of being an alarm clock. Its supposed to have a backup feature where if it loses internet connection it defaults to a normal alarm tone (if using internet radio for alarm) but it just doesn't work. Nice try but misses the mark

As a contrasting opinion I've got one and love it - whilst it's not voice activated it's always right by the bed so tapping it on the top to speak isn't an issue (I never use the app at all - that would be a right faff). We've got other Alexa devices (Echo, Echo Show and a Dot) but this works great for what we wanted it for - I'm not sure I'd want it as my only Alexa device as I use them for controlling lights, TV etc where I do want it to be voice activated without having to touch to talk, but as a bedside clock that I can use for the odd Alexa interaction then it's spot on. The manufactures are pretty decent too and have pushed a few updates with new features since I've owned it. Is it a good as a Spot for a bedroom clock? No, of course it's not but it's a fraction of the price at just over £30. I'll probably replace it with a Spot if I find a decent deal on one (mainly because I think it looks a bit cheap and plasticy, probably because it is!) but for the price I've been happy with it.

Looks a bit like an Aether cone speaker.
