Been wondering when this would be issued Used search function and does seem to be listed

Exact same experience here. Local takeaway had never taken amex in three last few years, possibly ever, but is on the map each year, even though they say it's places that have accepted in the last 6 months. I wonder if any part of the promotion falls under the ASA and if they could challenge then over the incorrect map.

Because the store uses stripe for its online transaction it will most likely be rejected as it's gone through what amex classifieds as third party payment provider.

I purchased two transactions in an independent store, first one was in store and it tracked. The second transaction was done online of the same store after I got home using a supplementary card but did not track. The two transactions had the same store name but the online purchase was marked ‘online’ and was processed by Stripe. What are the chances of being successful if I were to raise it with Amex after 90 days? I know online purchases are excluded but I thought I had try considering it’s of the same store. Probably won’t be successful but has anyone got a positive outcome with online purchases after raising a dispute with Amex?

All mine tracked except for one, where the merchant name was different from the reciept given by the shop!

All mine have tracked and credited as expected. Shame did not find out about the additional card soon enough but still £65 off the bill for stuff I would have paid full price anyway (mostly). Will be prepared when they run it again next year 8)

American Express Travel - Spend £200, get £50 Back @ American ExpressAmerican Express Deals

I do agree that AMEX travel are not always competitive and that you do need to shop around. However what is quite socking really is that you haven’t done a like for like comparison. Do a search for the exact same dates, routes, flights, etc on both websites then you can call it a comparison.

Anyone with AMEX British Airways that can say if valid for that card as well, please?

Deal goes hot so quickly because of the poster, not because of the deal.

Thank you for this. Heat added. Just booked a weeks car hire in Charlotte, North Carolina and with the cashback will save £30 over the cheapest quote I could find anywhere else. (y)

I don't think so. I was hoping someone else would try it and post..

Nope, single use.

I spent £50 in Tesco last week and got £10.00 credit back on the statement. Can i use it again in a differeng supermarket?

Does anyone know whether this stacks with the morrisons 10% back? I got both offers on my card and need to do some Christmas dinner shopping!

I did get the email for this version of the offer, but not for my BA card spend for the Avios points version (see post above). The first has paid the statement credit already, likely the Avios points one will be fine, just have to keep an eye on it. Does seem pretty hit and miss.

Valid once per card - so yes, only one spend.

Exactly what I thought. Pizza has some of the largest margins in existence today. I understand the business costs, and rent but spend £80 maybe for a kids party?

Why would the age of the offer matter? The OP didn’t say it was a new offer and the deal hasn’t been posted yet.

That is the first useful comment you’ve made. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll save it on my card (y)

Check your Amex as there is £25 off a £30 spend with the FT, you can post that one if you like, credit can be all yours (y)

Useful fact.

Girrrr, the Marriott I use is on there, oh well. Maybe I will get a future promotion

Only valid at these hotels

One stay by the looks of it. Unfortunately it seems if you have used your Amex at Marriott before, you don';t get the offer :(

Same, I stay in Marriott every week. Out of interest, does the £200 have to be in one stay, or over a period of time?

I have a Marriott stay this next week, likely to be more than £200, and an Amex Gold card, but the offer isn't on my account :(

Amex offer £200 off any spend above £1800 on Emirates Business or First flights£1,800American Express Deals
I was rummaging through my Costco Amex offers in search of the previous Amex offer posted ( ivan83 )which wasn't on my card but this one was. £200 off any spend above £1800 on Emir… Read more

I had that experience once. We told them no and either cancel the ticket or honour the booking. Very dodgy company. Netflights is also usually a fair bit cheaper too, and very trustworthy. Really good service from them.

I have only ever booked with Emirates direct. Anytime I've looked it's been less that £20 or that, and one time I did book with an agent they took my money, then came back and said they needed more money

Remember that booking Emirates direct is more expensive than Skyscanner etc. so that really eats into the savings. I've used this a few times and it's only about £20-£50 you save. Sadly Emirates' price guarantee only applies to Economy class

Heat added, £200 off is decent in anyone's book.

Not something I'll use, but I'm waiting for the £50 off a £200 travel spend which should be imminent.
