I doubt it now, the games over a year old and they've done little work to it. No man's sky was a great example of what to do when you have a bad launch

They still saying it will be this year even with the Coronavirus about, factories can still run to make them so I do believe it will be this year. I wait a year till I be usually so I really hope its not delayed

They keep saying they'll do something about it, nothing ever happens. All they want is profit and if they can't get any they won't bother. The ps5 will likely be out by 2022 aswell.

I played 8 hours of the Origin Access “free” trial and really enjoyed it. I tried to get back in to it once it was fully on Access and just couldn’t. Essentially it is an amazing tech demo. The off-game story, characters and locations were so dull, the gameplay and game world was great but very limited. If they can get a handle on the gameplay and actually make a coherent game id probably get it. They ripped people off who payed full price in my opinion (although don’t PRE-order a game !!) but it could have been so different. Worth £3-4 for the initial thrill and the first few hours of gameplay.

Anthem 2.0 was announced last year. Apparently its supposed to be a major reworking of the game. There's currently a lot of speculation as to whether it will be free for existing owners. If not, a lot of folk who paid upwards of £50, at launch, are going to be seriously peeved.

Definitely. I paid £11 and got my money's worth, so your laughing at this price! I really enjoyed this, sure there's not much to do after the campaign, but you can say that for a lot of multiplayer games. Plus the flying and combat is fluid and super fun (y)

They expect your payment, eh? Except, YOU control your money, not them! Drako's right, stop pre-ordering and, 1. You see what kind of game they've put out when reviews and comments roll-in, and 2. They don't get your money. Win-win.

I understand your point. The bitterness stems from the fact that these Publishers/Developers are knowingly passing off inferior, incomplete products, yet they expect my payment to be paid in full, and as a pre-order none the less. You wouldn't except this behavior from any other quarter, so why do so from these scammers?, because that's what they are.

Then people should stop pre ordering games. I have no stake in this really, because I'm not stupid enough to buy things before reviews. All I'm trying to say is, if we get some thing good in the end, then that's not a bad thing for anyone. Being bitter about it, and doubling down in hoping the game remains terrible benefits no one. I'm not defending EA, but they didn't have to do this. The backlash initially is what spawned this change, and thats positive, but why would you remain angry if they (admittedly hypothetically) deliver in the end? "EA are the worse, their game is awful". *Acknowledges it and try's to fix it "EA are still the worse, why isn't this game dead, they shouldn't even bother" I just can't understand that level of bitterness.

commended?, stop making excuses for fraud, laziness and greed. Publishers and developers know their target audience and what their expectations are, yet they lie and cheat at every opportunity until found out. They had no problem with Pre-Orders, or taking gamer's money. That's why only Day 1 content matters. No they should not be commended, what lilly livered nonsense.

I'm so on the fence with this in 1 hand I'm thinking £4 what's the worst that could happen even if I get a few hours play out of it it's worth the money but also with all the negative things heard is it worth it especially while still playing other games and re3 remake around the corner.

Heat. I don’t need the game, but I’m reluctant when the others in the house start fighting over amazon music streaming. I’m too tight to buy a family subscription so this works perfectly. When they’re arguing and fighting and can switch to this and they can carry on. Happy days. Code received day after delivery. Says not valid as still had a registered Spotify app on my phone. Deleted that and changed email address and works like a charm with the Sonos around the house

Yes, but it's easy to get around that. Use the site "Spot my Backup" to backup all of your playlists on your current account. Create a new fresh email address and use that to sign up. Once you've activated your 6 month code, go back to the "Spot my Backup" site and log in with your new details and it'll restore all of your playlists. What i've always done at that point is go through each one and re-follow them on Spotify "officially" so you can get any updates or additional tracks that might be added. The one downside, if you want to call it a downside, to using the backup site is that it restores all of your playlists as if you've created them yourself. It's a minor inconvenience for 6 months of premium though - I did it on my last code and i've got another code to do around August time for a full year of free premium.

Plenty of people out there that like to bash a game even though chances are they haven't properly played it. For the price and content involved everyone is getting their monies worth and won't complain with the fun and value it offers. Ignore the haters and buy it :)

Worth noting that the developers made a blog post yesterday basically saying they are working on overhauling the game - which means that the game as it currently is won't be getting any new updates (except new store items...) for the foreseeable future. Some people estimate "Anthem 2.0" won't be out this year. I started playing recently and it's probably worth a fiver, just to fly around like Iron Man.

Remember seeing these guys when they came to Leeds a few years back. I believe it was "I coul da been a contender" which first got me listening but generally sink or swim remains my favourite album of theirs.

Good band, great sound. If they didn't constantly get compared to Led Zeppelin (as if that's a bad thing) then they would be a household name. From The Fires (Vinyl) is the same price, featuring Black Smoke Rising which is brilliant IMHO.

How? Game programmers who develop for a console know *exactly* what hardware is in the console, there are three version of the Xbox One, the Original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and the Xbox One X. The Xbox One S Digital is pretty much the S without the drive. A console player can't add more memory, add other software that may affect the device, change the CPU/Graphics card or the alter the chip speeds. The only thing that is out of the developers hands is internet cnnection speed. If a game plays badly on any console (Xbox or Playstation) then its something that the developers *would* have picked up in testing. If they programmed a game thats too demanding for the console its playing on they would known that at testing and need to resolve it before shipping. On a PC its a very different story, the developers have no idea what hardware they PC will have but the console is pretty much a fixed box in terms of hardware spec.

The Xbox one X came out around November 2017, its not five years old, its only only just over 2 1/4 years old. Its also not the case that the Xbox ONne can only do 4k OR 60FPS, Games can run at 4k and 60 FPS, Gears 5 and Halo Master cheif collection both do. Not all may do so, some are 4k or 60FPS and you choose your mode, it depends on the studio that made them how much time and work they wanted to put in on the Xbox Enhanced versions. However the hardware is not important, Game programmers for console know exactly what hardware it will run on, if it does run well its entirely down to the programmers, its not like they had to adapt the game for different hardware, or graphics card drivers.

Sorry, I meant specifically about Anthem. Anthem is only 30fps on Xbox One X. Xbox One X was released 5 years back, so has graphics card that is quite old. Its still very capable but can only do so much. 4K 60fps needs a very expensive graphics card and that too is only possible in some few games. Hence, on demanding titles, Xbox One X can only do 30fps at 4K.

Xbox one X cqn do 60 FPS. If you think about it there no reason a console version should run slowly, the hardware is precisely known unlike the PC where people can have a massive range of hardware in use.
