LaCie 2 TB FUEL Wireless External Hard Drive for iPad, iPhone and Apple TV (STFL2000200) - £89.99 @ Amazon

Mine arrived today and I’m pretty impressed to be fair. It’ll suit my needs perfectly (y) 🏼

Please could you share links to your Samsung and Sandisk recommendations?

I wouldn’t consider this one, the western digital equivalent is better, or if you require less storage use the Samsung or Sandisk versions which are both SSD. All available on Amazon so a good returns policy will help you find the one that works best for you, not this one though, I have also seen this exact drive for £69 so this isn’t especially a great price

Good find. But it’s cheap for a reason. Poor reviews. In fact in one of the reviews they say LaCie customer support even said they consider it an ‘end of life product’.

Brilliant first deal. Heat added. Thanks

Apple TV 4K refurbished 32GB/64GB £149/£169 @ Apple + 3% Quidco/TCB
Updated 12th FebLast updated 12th Feb by x-man
Back in stock for everyone who may have recently bought a load of 4K films with nothing to play them on! Quidco (allegedly) 3% or TCB at 2.1% but will price match.

LG TVs don’t have the Disney app unfortunately - I have sent them 2 emails recently asking for them to release the app but nothing so far... Amazon stick is an option but I went for the Apple TV which allows me to link my photos to the tv nicely - not cheap but cheaper via eBay

Slightly off topic...I want to mirror Disney life from my iPad/iPhone to my LG tv. I downloaded an app thinking it would do it but turns out it only mirrors certain websites such as YouTube! Didn’t really want to fork out for a new airplay device such as an Apple TV. Is there any other way? Considering an amazon fire stick but ideally wanted to get something that does mirroring incase there’s anything else in the future I can use it for

Selling to cex is convenient however there is a price for everything, you get less back for convenience yet if you are a little more smarter you do get more for your items selling elsewhere which in your case you did do. Well done mate.

CEX Pay £66 cash for 4th gen 32gb. I sold mine privately for £100 to upgrade to 4K

Apologies you’re right. I was connected via VPN and was looking at the US store where it’s 4K. Gotta love film studios/distributors screwing the consumer.

Cheapest in a while? So since November just 2 months ago when they were £16.99 I guess your meaning of for a while is different than mine.

Good luck these ever turning 4K in iTunes now they’re owned by Disney.

Your opinion belongs in a museum! ;)

It’s just the sum of the individual movies yes - a deal because all the individual movies were just reduced to £4.99. That said the bundle was reduced on Black Friday further - I got it for £14.99

Am I misreading this, the bundle of 4 films is the same price as buying the films individually - why is that a deal?

What live tv does this do? I’ve got rid of sky etc

If on Windows share a folder or hdd and get this program

Network streaming. That sounds interesting. Will look into it thanks!

Only if you are watching 4k movies. Apple has the cheapest 4k movies compared to Google and Amazon.

Case anyone else is thinking the same, I use mine everyday to stream my digital collection to the projector. I have my computer and an external drive which is shared on the home network, the paid infuse program allows me to access it and stream, you can use plex also but I don't like it at all. Alos Youtube, netflix, amazon prime, etc etc. If you're to buy one you need to think what you're going to use it for, for me it was network streaming.

Ha, that's wicked mate. I've got The Equalizer 2, but only because of the family shares I'm in (in a UK iTunes family share as well as a U.S UV/Vudu one) but alas only got that in 1080p/HDX by the looks of it. I'll have to make do with slumming it with that until the UK itunes version drops to a decent price.

MI Fallout surprised me how quickly it’s dropped and the low price it’s going for, I paid around £3.70 for mine. Got an absolute quality pickup the other day from a forum we both frequently use in the way of Equaliser 2 for nowt. Was a UK UV which is now happily in my US iTunes library in 4KDV.

Exactly. And to be honest as far as the likes of myself that have managed to regularly trick our way into the system Stateside (not that we should HAVE TO), then I just view the codes I pick up as cheap rentals, whilst the official price of titles on the UK store drop to more reasonable levels. A perfect example was Mission Impossible Fallout, grabbed that yesterday for my U.S ITUNES Acc for £2.46 in 4k. The moment the UK store version even drops to just £9.99 (let alone £5.99 etc) then I'll already have been quids in doing it this way.

Can cast to tv yes from Flixster but no 4K if you have any UHD rights attached to any titles though. Never say never I guess to other studios being supported but currently no Paramount,MGM, Lionsgate and subsidiaries.

But I can cast my whole library to my tv using flixster. Good tip about doing my homework on supported studios. Is there no prospect of new studios being added ?

Edward woodward was the man!

Both not a patch on the TV series

2nd film was just ok- felt disappointed as I loved the first.

Something weird going on with these. Showing as SD once purchased, which is exactly what happened with the “National Lampoon” deal i published a week or so ago. Equaliser 2 is definately NOT in 4K, the picture is noticably low quality. Now do i keep them in the hope its a glitch (National Lampoon still has this problem over a week after purchase) or do i get a refund but end up missing the promotion?!? ITunes have been made aware of the problem and are working to resolve it. If you buy the films seperately, you get the correct resolutions....theres just something wrong with the bundle. Ive got a refund rather than risk being stuck with the SD versions.

Yes, they are in 4K (y)

I see two Ghostbusters movies and a long toy advert for some inferior tat that was the movie toy line.

With all these deals in Germany, I gather it’s the same as making a US account and hooking up a card that pays Euros etc however are the movies in 4K over there like the Greatest Showman etc? Just wondering on studio licensing issues. Cheers

Looooool, yep!, touché that, touché that indeed ... Edit: And don't forget to factor in SKY HD digital copy customers too, or whatever?. Who'll buy their digital copies for a similar price + then have the physical copies then posted out to them as well, etc ...

Not that hot, and factor into the equation the DC lovers, Trolls, and the £1 people saved for one day, the Deer Hunters, then you have the answer.

How so? The multitudes of other deals you posted either side have gone hotter.

And the time it was posted ;)

I think the issue is that it was £4.99 only last week. Yep, £5.99 is a good price, but the fact it's not as good as the last deal must have an effect.

Buying its a wonderful life was a test to see if movie distribution rights would be an issue as it was my first movie purchase on itunes. Before i purchased it all of 'my movies anywhere' titles showed up in itunes regardless of which country i set in itunes after the purchase its is now the only movie that shows and it still shows up if i change my region to either US or UK ,very strange. .....scratch that all my movies have now appeared in itunes from both 'movies anywhere' and itunes store, must take some time for the sync i guess.

Haha i’d edited mine twice while you replied to it Lol

No. You need two iTunes accounts. One US based and another uk based. Uk iTunes does not link to moviesanywhere. It can’t because of the location settings. Uv library does port, but this is only because Warner Bros. Have stopped uv in the states. Not all WB tilted will port either. The uv code has to be universally available- one good example is Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone - different name in the USA so that will not cross over/port. I already have many uv codes from the years I spent in North America, there might - and that is a slim might - come a day when they stop this.. at least I’ll have my iTunes library out there fully intact. It’s not a given that apple and google will always support Movies anywhere.. I can safely say it’s all good for the near future (y)

Interesting, but all you’ve done is made out you’ve moved countries which would you not lose access to some of your library due to some movies having different distributors and film titles between the US & UK and also some movies that are available here are not available over there. Also once you’ve changed to the US and linked to MA can you then revert back to the UK and keep MA linked?

I can’t wait for the reply.. I’ll get the popcorn.. PS I think you might want to change the reply ;)
