Possible to use it with other bottles as well or is it only for the Avent bottles?

Each to their own but i prefer the electric ones, i haven’t had any issues with mine and find them less fuss than the microwave ones

Easier to clean and quicker (6mins), we had the Phillips one for our first one and ended up chucking it as the heating plate gets messed up if you forget to remove the limescale. Anyway second baby using a microwave one it’s soo much more convenient

I have a cold water one which leaves residue on the bottles and I have a microwave one that doesn’t fit in my microwave lol so I will stick to the steam ones now. Great price

Even better get a cold water one

It’s a good deal so not sure why it’s cold

I think the 3 in one has more sections. I tried looking at the promotional video and they seemed to have the camera on the lady rather than the product itself :/ I have the 2 in one and it’s a decent size.

I voted hot. What's the difference between. The 2 in 1 and 3 in 1?

Why the cold votes ?

I can’t remember exactly but I’m sure it was around 2/3 months. As soon as you get it you can check how long you have to return it.

Any idea how long they will allow a return? I can't imagine she'll open or need it for a few months (providing breast feeding goes well)

Amazon are amazing with their returns so keep it boxed and if she doesn’t think she will use it then just return it.

Many thanks for your help. I think I might make the purchase. With 4 weeks to go, hopefully my girlfriend will benefit from it in the coming months. For just over £40 electric, I can’t grumble, especially with your endorsement. Thanks again x

I used this for a while then I got the double one in the black Friday deal. This is definitely a good deal even without the £20 off so with the discount it's a brilliant price. I'm guessing john Lewis will probably price match too. I tried the medela freestyle it was good but keept making a noise after a while. I wasn't sure if that was normal but I returned it as it was too expensive to take the risk. I ordered an avent one and tested side by side and the avent produced slightly less milk (I'm talk around half an ounce). The medela was very painful and I had to buy separate parts too. This is very comfortable and for the price you can't go wrong. Really recommend it! Hope this helps jedijacobs

Just done a click and collect at the store in Gateshead next to the Metro Centre for this price, it's about £15 cheaper than most places. Hope this helps someone.

I got one from amazon too.

Ok precious calm down!! People can comment, don’t take it to heart!

That seems a bit necessary, it is good information for people that aren't in a rush that there is a good chance it will be cheaper sooner or later

Let me dust off the delorean and travel back in time to a deal that no longer exists and was only available to Prime subscribers at that price, so factor in the £79 annual rate too

I was wondering for a moment what an advent ear thermometer was.

Lol I'll try that then!

I received the same email so I contacted the Phillips department that it said on the email. I didn’t know the amazon account I bought this on so they told me that they will refund me for the avaerage selling price. They sent me a shipping label and I sent it back. A week later I got a cheque for £40. Great. I can buy a good one now.

I received the same email, amazon agreed to refund - I would rather have my money back than a themometer that doesn't work!

I just received an email from amazon - should I return it? Got this for £55 today in Mothercare. My old one broke, which I loved. (Old model broke after 6 years- dirty steam comes from it even tho I cleaned it recently) It is so easy to prepare meal in this. I saw reviews and Im hoping it wont break. Or if it will I hope to use it for at least 6 months. I will check for any damage after each use.

Just a heads up - When I had it it the motor overheated and burnt out after a couple of months. Check reviews too - reports of plastic chipping & Melting. Not great in a baby food maker so keep an eye on it! Personally I'd stick to traditional steam & hand blend and save yourself the extra expense/ worry.
