But they charge the same prices for the goods as I store where you have to fetch them out the warehouse and load them into the car/van yourself. How much does the time to collect the goods and deliver them and the fuel etc cost?
Or perhaps they're trying to recoup lost income due to covid. . .
Any kitchen worktops?
I think I paid £25 once as well, now you mention it, for delivery. It certainly wasn't £40. To be fair it might be COVID related. They will bring the boxes into which ever room you like, which means they need to do a lot of COIVD safety stuff.
Ah ok, £25 delivery might've been if you picked the items yourself, and paid for them in store, but agree the delivery charges are far too high, especially given the mediocre service
Looking, and found hence sharing the deal! These are the perfect fit for my decor, the wife wanted black and as i said i feel they are a step up to my previous ones. I had a skim over your last few comments and you seem to like hijacking threads, or posting alternatives YOU feel are better. If you have a deal that good then by all means share it with the community yourself, i'm sure some would love to know and want to purchase them. I'll just mark this as expired now as all this nonsense is just ridiculous, and highly irritating.
In fairness you did say you were looking for stools (you never stated what type), then said you found these in B&Q and the black looked fantastic, so I was just trying to help you. At the end of the day they are disposable items so not worth getting too excited about, if you have had yours 18mths then you know 2 yrs is about max and renew.
Precisely, personal choice...and for me these are a deal as they are different stools to those you have and am changing after 18 months. By all means if you are aware of the same item elsewhere at a cheaper price then great, but you can't compare something that is a different item altogether. It's like saying oh this £5 folding stool from argos is just as good as those you have, doesn't make sense does it. You say cheap as chips, ive literally paid and extra tenner :) and as i've had the stools you have (i could take some pics to show the damage to the chrome and seats to show they aren't great quality) i think i'm entitled to share a deal i feel is good for what seems a good quality, and fitting with my decor stool. Maybe next time just vote cold, or even better share your own deal (horror)
It’s personal choice, the rounded edges get ripped, I prefer the stitched ones, as for colour if you want black then those look great but the base will take a kicking so it can look scruffy and scratched over time, these are my seats, enough padding for me and the stitching looks nice. As you are well aware these are cheap as chips so get changed every couple of years anyway (y)
They are chrome, not black my good man and a different stool altogether. B&Q have these exact same one's in, £40 for a pair (which are the one's i had previously). Inferior in quality, stitching is visible and becomes loose over time and the padding of the seat is far less. So i would consider paying an extra £10 - £12 a deal, and easier to return if something does happen to go wrong. Deal imo

Appeared today unexpectedly! Tracking for Tuffnells was still showing as not recognised. Delighted it has finally arrived.
Mine arrived today with Tuffnells. About a week. No extra charges or nothing! So have faith!
You can't trust them - see my comments - I've told them I want a refund - there customer services is shockingly poor (and bloody arrogant!!)
Update: Despite claiming my 2 orders were dispatched 7 days ago, they haven't been - customer services have been terrible and pretty arrogant (even today suggesting I put in the wrong tracking details!! - This coming from a company that told me both had been sent with Tuffnells, then days later, after multiple emails, stating one had been sent with Tuffnells and one with Yodel....and now stating one was sent with Tuffnells and one is waiting to be sent with Yodel!!!) - DON'T LIE TO CUSTOMERS - its simple!! And after lying to customers don't insult them!!!

Grey one showing stock in East London stores for collection on Sunday managed to order one thanks OP
Is it just me that finds Argos extremely frustrating in that most of the time whenever there's a half decent deal they never have the item available anywhere? or 100 miles away if you're lucky (annoyed)
Yeah, seems like a good enough deal but none anywhere local :-(
Another 1 in Stratford :D

B&Q Daphne Black Bar stool, Pack of 2 £20 instore at B&Q (found Hedge End)£20B&Q Deals
Same here but didn't take them back, purchased ours from wickes Aweful quality and not worth £10 each unless there for show or kids to sit on
Any recommend ergonomic or ones that you can comfortably work from home with?
Had a set they split on the edge !! Took back after 2 Months
The springs are terrible too - as soon as you lift your weight off to get up, they have a habit of bouncing back up and ejecting you forwards. Although when the mother in law went flying off hers, we did find it amusing
Hi guys i would totally advise against bar stools like this - the chrome base is cumbersome and a magnet for dropped food etc, unless u polish it on a daily basis. The lack of a backrest is also terrible for your posture you will be slumped over your food with no lumbar support. Heat for the bargain find but not so practical.
