Booked Sheffield for 2 nights. Seems like excellent value at £30. Thanks OP :)

I've booked Sheffield for the night rudimental play only down the road form the O2 academy, £12 surely can't grumble, that's the cost of a couple of drinks or a takeaway!! Amazing value

Hi I think this is if they need to get specialist cleaners in, like if someone is sick on the carpet or has an accident in the night, surely you cannot be expected to "clean" your own "hotel" room (lol)

Sheffield booked for £16 bargain

Plenty of cheap rooms in Sheffield :) will do for one night whilst Xmas shopping.

Great deal. The thread looks a lot better now that most of the idiots' comments have been swept-aside too. HOT

BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK To those who are concidering flying with Norwegian first the positives the Planes are new and perfect flight attendants are professional and nice but that's all. Certain very important things to note is if something goes wrong you are on your own no joke, inn the USA they don't have ground staff and they don't pick up the phone. I was flying from Chicago to London when I went to check in for my flight i was told that norwegian had sent the wrong plane and therefore they were downgrading me to economy because premium was full although i was the second person to check in and online wasn't working. I demanded to speak to someone the check in staff said I should e mail or call as they did not have anyone local. I asked if the meal I ordered was going to be available to me because of dietary requirements they said yes however when time came for the meal i was informed that they don't serve food in economy unless it's ordered on the system which did not have anything I could eat cut the story short I had Orange juice and water for the 8hrs but if I was told about it I would have brought something with me. When I got back i wrote to Norwegian who did not reply for 4 weeks untill I sent a threatening letter saying I will recover my money through the credit card company they wrote back and said well it's in the terms and conditions that we can downgrade you at will they refunded me 300 out of a £1000 ticket and that was it. So for those who go long haul on this may the good Lord be with you because if something goes wrong that's all you will have. In short Norwegian are worse than Ryanair and wizz put together. You have been warned!

It's not often we get something that the rest of the UK doesn't :p

Just booked this, got the £39 return tickets last September and flew into Stewart. Tiny airport, relaxed and friendly airport staff (have never experienced a nicer customs anywhere let alone US) choice of 3 rental car companies in lobby, no regrets whatsoever. Brilliant Belfast deal. Headed upstate in a rental jeep and had the best time ever hiking in the adirondacks. £160 each return return for something 8 weeks away is fabulous even treated ourselves to 1 suitcase on the return journey for £25 so we can buy a load of stuff (Woodbury common very close to airport for a quick last minute stop before evening flight) what more could you want?! I’m stoked

Until they go bust. Basically Freddie Laker.

Thank you for this :)

For anyone in London for £21 you can get a return ticket from Stansted to Belfast airport, throughout most of October. So if you are not in Belfast, check SkyScanner for cheap flights to Belfast Airport. I've checked and cheapest and closest to those dates are as follows: 11th October fly from Stansted to Belfast for £11pp, if you want the 12th it's £17pp, I would take the 12th, it would be cheaper to pay the £6 then find a hotel for 2 nights, unless of course you want to explore the city. Fly back from Belfast to Stansted on the 16th for £10 Also if you want to take the risk, and hope your flight isn't cancelled or delayed for too long, then you could get a flight back to London Stansted on the same day you return from Warsaw on 15th October, as the flight to Stansted is at 20:10.

Those stats would be really useful if anyone could tell where they relate to! :{

Well looking at these stats I know we're I love to live.

Warsaw, great city (y)

And sometimes they have loss of cabin pressure

I'm flying to London in August with Ryanair for £19.98 return. I'll follow their rules ie bring photographic ID, check in online and use the correct size of case so there shouldn't be any problems. I don't understand why people find it such a horrendous experience flying with them as it's hard to tell the difference between them and all the other budget airlines. Flybe are much worse in my experience And yes all companies not just Ryanair put profit before customer service. The Stansted Express is more expensive than the flight btw, £21 return. But I can't deny the folks on the Dublin to Zadar flight were shabbily treated when they landed at Hahn

What gets me with Ryanair is not their prices but their poor service. When anything goes wrong it is not their fault and they play everything down. Their recent emergency landing due to loss of cabin pressure is a case in point. They say 'only a few were effected' and 'it wasn't an emergency'. It turns out that 33 people were hospitalised (bleeding through nose and ears and loss of hearing) and the authorities say it was an emergency. They spout the normal cliche that 'customer and staff safety is our number one priority' when we all know that 'profit' is their number one priority like any other business.

Yep probably, it's like with Wuntu Deals, people complain they have to spend £3 on Bella Italia meal but will spend £10 at McDonald's

because "everyone" wants free meals, drinks and unlimited baggage for the same price!

The thread has nothing to do with malt whisky. It's about the fact that Black Bottle is 25% off in Sainsbury's. Lets get get back on track

fair enough but it's still a blend!

Who said it was a single malt?

Yes I know that but Monkeys shoulder is still a blend not a single malt!

A single malt whisky is a whisky made from malted barley and produced from a single distillery. However, in the vast majority of cases a single malt is a blend of different casks, this way the distillery is able to produce the same flavour every time. Otherwise every bottle of Laphroaig 10 you buy would taste noticeably different from the last. So single malt whisky means single distillery malted barley whisky, and if it doesn't say "single barrel/cask" then it is almost definitely a blend. Blended malt works the same way but uses batches from different distilleries. Monkey Shoulder, for example, uses a blend of malts from Balvenie, Glenfiddich and Kininvie. However a blended malt must be made only from malted barley from pot stills. Finally you have blended whisky. This is the cheapest type of whisky as it is not just restricted to pot-stilled malted barley, it can use other grains like wheat or corn and mix that spirit into the blend. The ratio tends to be about 70% grain to 30% malt. This massively reduces production costs and increases volume produced, and makes up the vast majority of the whisky market. This is your Bells, Grants, Dewars, Chivas etc. Single refers to the distillery, not the ingredient.

What do you mean. Do you mean the level pack

In the St. John's one, when you go through the indoor entrance, if you walk to the end of the store on the right hand side you'll find toys at the end. Originally found the dimensions there but when they added all the clothing, they moved them and the DVDs/bluray together. It's the 2nd to last aisle, should be easy enough to find

The Simpsons packs in Farnborough Poundland (the larger one) today...

Where are they in the store? I have been popping in for months seeing if they had any lego or good blu rays in stock. Even asked a few times about the lego. Never seen any lego packs. Was in runcorn yesterday, again could not find any lego packs but didn't ask.
