Can't understand how we're getting fatter...

Damn tasty though, little and often they say.

Nestle kill babies and these will actually fill you up to an extent. Still too sweet though - way too sweet for me - at least the chocolate chip one I tried. The only belvita I've liked so far are the chunky chocolate chip biscuits, or the normal breakfast biscuits cocoa flavour. High fat and sugar really too, so questionable "health" marketing.

Also in Asda

Each to there own, if you love four fngers insde you go for it.

12 x Milk and Cereal Belvita £1 @ Morrisons

Is this a store-specific price, indicated by a yellow sticker on the packages? Or has this product gone from what seems to have been regular £1.75 price for several months to a national clearance price of £1? I managed to get what I think are some of these, plus one of the Honey & Nuts versions, at store-specific stickered 88p each on one specific day in one store at the late part of last year. Are these the green-flashed packs (600g) that seem to have been regularly £1.75 for several months or the red-flashed packs (540g) that seem to have been much higher price? I assume this is the green-flashed version (BC 7 622210 016553 Milk & Cereals) which is now £1, not sure at the moment whether this is store-specific sticker or is now national clearance price. If it is national clearance, presumably Honey & Nuts on BC 7 622210 06515, green-flashed version (green background to where it says "BIG PACK 12 PORTIONS" flashed on the front of the packs), is now £1 clearance in some other stores? I suspect red-flashed will still be high price - presumably around £2.79? Obviously this is the dedicated shopper writing, that pays attention to these things (lol)! Actually the cheapest price I ever saw Belvita for in Morrisons was one flavour of what was then the 6 pack 300g at 10p national clearance price a year or two ago - obviously with that price up (which was a large yellow offer card), the shelf was completely bare and I never saw any of that flavour ever again. All the rest were up and down from £1 but that one flavour was absent wherever I went, having moved onto RTC before I arrived, whilst I was looking the other way, and had already completely vanished from my store by the time I saw the offer card.

Wish they did them in choc chip. Heat added anyway nandito, good find. Can confirm they are available in Hull stores (y)

Nice one Nandito. I like Belvita as it really does keep away hunger for 3-4 hours. So I have it either for breakfast or for dinner. Balances it out what bad meal I have for lunch. A tigers balanced diet (y)

No, Belvita discontinued the 6 packer and some shops will still have stock to sell. ASDA are definitely not the only one who are selling the 5 pack

Asda's own version is about 85p, has 6 servings and is absolutely fine. Always get them now instead of belvita!

Oh no they're not! :)

Six packs still available elsewhere from time to time at £1. Asda seems to be the only one who's cut the pack size so far.

Brilliant! Thank you.

Thanks for the heads up. Only £1.39 in tesco -

£1.50 in Morrisons I think or Tesco

That would be a dream come true!

Wish the soft bakes woukd be £1

the milk ones are gorgeous, taste like malted milk :)

These have a lower sugar content, have added vitamins and minerals, release energy over 4 hours and made with 5 wholegrains. Last time I checked a chocolate bar didn't have any of these.

I bought some Belvita biscuits the other day. Very sweet and taste wasn't great either. I have no idea how these can be marketed as healthy, because they are not. You may as well have a chocolate bar, which tastes better and has similar macros. You can also buy Maryland chocolate cookies which are far more tastier than the Belvita biscuits. It goes to show that even a poor product can be sold, if it is marketed correctly. Why eat porridge for breakfast when you can eat biscuits instead. :D

Good to know will have to look out for them tomorrow, if only it was one of the other types of Belvita not too keen on the crunchy biscuits as they are very hard unless dunked in coffee

good find op, heat added

These have been in my local store for about a fortnight, really good buy :)

Your body won't thank you for it in about 20 years! Over time, eating 3 eggs a day will cause more problems than these biscuits will. A lot of research still tells us there is a risk eating too many.

Cheers op great timing! Get through a couple of boxes on long runs as running gels don't work for me

You're right- 4 biscuits do have around 200 calories. Three boiled eggs and a cup of tea will also keep you going until lunch, and also contain around 200 calories- but without the huge amount of sugar, refined flours, soya lecithin, E472e, E492 etc. Try it tomorrow morning- your body will thank you for it.

That is weird, I'm sure 4 of them have just around 200kcal, and they keep me going the whole morning until lunch... So I think energy_income-wise they'r not that bad...
