"wireless", they said (cheeky)
The exposed wires though ;(
After testing them I can confirm they are far better than the AKGs (AKGs seemed very dull). They still aren't as good as my wired Sennheiser HD555's but definitely next best after those. They are loud enough for me however I just feel that the instruments aren't as powerful as with the Sennheisers. All in all I'm happy with the purchase - thanks OP!
You're welcome for the deal. It's actually one of the drawbacks of bluetooth. It uses radio signals to connect so it can pick up other interference. Make sure you update to the latest firmware too!
Thanks to the OP for this great deal. Got mine as well despite eBay estimating delivery to my local Argos on Monday, they were there at 11am yesterday! Fantastic quality feel. Almost feel a bit heavy to me but not the end of the world. HOWEVER, is anybody else hearing hissing, only when using bluetooth?? Obviously much more noticeable when listening to a podcast/audiobook due to the silent parts. If I pause music/podcast the hiss continues for about 8 seconds and then stops with a little pop. Annoyingly, they are totally silent when using even a cheap aux cord with them. These are my first pair of bluetooth headphones - is this something they all do when connected/disconnected? This could be a deal breaker for me...
Received and I have to agree with previous poster: I’ve had Parrot Ziks, Bose Qc25 , Philips Fidelio and the sound on these is wonderful. It’s plenty loud for my liking, great soundstage - with full but not overblown bass with fabulous mids and highs. I listen to Tidal and on Hifi setting , it absolutely blows away the other phones I’ve tried of late. BARGAIN! Oh, the headphones are not loose and fit great...has them on all day.
Just received mine, absolutely blown away by sound quality not sure why people were saying sound was not loud in Bluetooth mode it is loud to m
Unlike some bluetooth headphones which are connected by a cable between the earpieces, the B&O Plays aren't.
“truly wireless” as opposed to “untruly wireless” (lol) (lol) (lol) .
I'd like to hear more about why the sound quality is worth £200 than the "genuine leather charging case". My suspicion with B&O is that while its OK quality kit, the premium prices are more for the style. Which is fine if that's what you value most, of course.
I think thats there for portability, really if you're looking for aesthetics, you probably shouldn't be looking around this price point.
Agreed - the aesthetics ruined instantly by attaching the handle making it look like a mini esky.
It looks like a cool box
I have these ... Very good detailed sound , very studio monitor like. However if you want even the slightest bit of bass then you're out of luck, there's none here, but it's due to the flat sound if that's your thing. I prefer a slight v in my sound. So they are currently my least used earphones. This is no slight on these very very good mid range earphones, it's just that they may be flat for some of us.
How much for the other earpiece :/
With ear wax
Dodgy pair of earphones!
Awesome news. Glad I could help someone. Mine haven't arrived yet but hopefully I'm in the same boat as you :D
Got one today, ordered yesterday completely brand new not out of the package, it is a gift so looks good as it is sealed. Good price £107.20.
Very good price
Arrived yesterday, very nice build quality and look great. Not to bad a sound via Bluetooth (all headphones I have tried show a lack in quality via BT connection), even better when NC turned off if not needed. However, use the provided cable for wired connection and BOOM, true B&O quality reproduction. Love them and at £175 I do highly rate them with BT and NC just a bonus if ever needed. Cheers Op
Also ordered - was looking at the other colour H8 earlier that are more expensive. They also have these £20 as a refurb with 12 month guarantee.
Ordered thanks guys
I got mine a few days ago. I also found that you needed to push the connector right in to hear the stereo properly. They sound quite good, but not as good as my Sony set that coast a lot less than the BeoPlays original price. Horses for courses, I guess.
I initially thought mine was faulty.. It gives a click when you push it in so I thought it was connected properly but only one side was working. Then I pushed it in further with a bit more force and it clicks into place a second time. But... They don't sound right ... There is something really strange about the sound that I find hard to describe. Wonder could it be a phase issue or something. Might need to send mine back.
Yes exactly, the left one just has no sound. Hoping they can do me a replacement instead of a refund.
This does seems a bit potluck, is that broken as in no sound whatsoever? You'd have thought they'd test that...not what I'd call a refurb?!
Got mine today... one headphone is broken (fierce) not happy.
Great price as they are still £200 on Amazon. Still unsure as reviews are average. Heat for the price.
Not sold on IEM ANC.. I have a horrible time getting a good seal. Comply just don't work for me. I struggle to see how this would be worth it over a closed back headset.
£30 more for a new pair through the same ebay page is still a great deal if you don't want to take the risk on a refurb.
I got a black pair of these a couple of weeks ago to replace a pair of AKG K551s and other than the fact the box was open it was in pristine condition. Make of that what you will. The headphones are brilliant by the way. A bit more bass than the AKGs but very nice sounding
Have it your way, although you didn’t read what I have said.
Ok, you still wouldn't have any information regarding the personal hygiene of any previous owners. These are used headphones and frankly there are some disgustingly filthy people out there with some absolutely awful habits. It's bizarre to me that anyone would buy used headphones. Almost like buying used underwear imo.
It's out of stock
Well these look sexy
Hmm that's a bit of a worry...
I don't want to send them back as they're a bargain so I'll persevere with them. I don't know why B&O have made them so tight though, I have selection of headphones and have tried many other pairs and none of them are anything like as tight as these. When I first got them out of the box I didn't think I'd be able to get them on. Another thing I've noticed is because there is so much tension in the head band it tends to twist so one ear-cup tilts slightly forward and the other slightly back, I've checked some of the reviews on Amazon and some ppl have mentioned that the headband warps after a few months which I assume is this
It's definitely a bit more than marketing BS. If you pull them open, hold them for a bit then release, they don't immediately return straight back to where they were. Also, I do feel them gradually relax once they're on. They're still tight I'll admit but not too tight for me. I'm a drummer so tight (comfortable tight) is good. There's definitely something going on with that band, but it might not be right for everyone.
I've had them on and off all day, I think the adaptive material bit is marketing BS, they start off tight and seem to get progressively worse but I'll persevere with them for a few days and see how they go
Shame. I read in a couple of the reviews that the headband is made from some kind of adaptive material which takes a minute or two to loosen up. How long did you try them on for?
I have these and they are very good. A bit snug but they become comfortable quickly
Only 1 left ..........
There is always the risk of receiving fakes from amazon marketplace, which I have experienced myself.
Sound is pretty good but god are they small fitting. If you've a average size head avoid. Uncomfortable after about 15min wear.
i tried the H8 unless you really need wireless the H6 sounds better. And the H9I blows everything out of the water but at a eye watering price.
My issue is I'm now talking myself into buying the H8s
If only.... That'd be just the sort of justification i'd need to bite!
I guess these don't have have noise cancellation like the H8?
Is not genuine leather is it, should be more durable. Maybe just leather surfaced or faux.
I'm just gunna post this pic for every B&O deal from now on
I have given these a miss and I for some strange reason I can't fathom myself collect headphones. B&O are to much in to design and not enough into function. these are very flilmsy and break easily and the foam rots. The mark one rotted so badly they had a life span of only one year before needing replacement and B&O no longer make pads for those and neither does anyone else so they are basiclally Junk. The second version will probably go the same way soon. Spend your money on something by AKG if you want a new pair of cans. They are the best value cans you can get for your money.
Cheaper at Hi-FI Serious.
For the price these are pretty good, especially if you like the design. Noise isolation is not good and they leak sound at higher volume levels.
I have a pair of these and although the sound is good i find them uncomfortable on the ears after about 40mins as you cannot adjust the tension in the top part of the plastic band. Tried all positions and still uncomfortable. Recommend you try them on for an hour before you decide to keep them.
No it's still 2017 You think? Did you not bother checking before posting your comment. They were and still are £330 on Amazon.

They're £167 on amazon I think?
Who cares about those idiots, probably because it's not Bumped by Dre headphones. Let those who know this is a good deal take advantage.
Thanks guys, I'll have a look on Amazon and get one ordered.
Get a usb to usb c cable should work on a regular PC. My tablet has a USBC so I use a USBC to USBC cable which is a standard usb 3 spec, so it should work regardless of plug type.
If you plug it in it will.show as a usb hub device. When you plug in headphones then it will show an additional spdif device and will be able to output audio. When I tried this on my windows 10 decide for the first time it switched audio to the DAC immediately without drivers or further prompting. If yours doesn't then go to audio decides and swap it over from there.
Can someone please advise me - I bought the DAC/headphones combo and it works just fine on my S7 but need to know how to connect it up to my PC. Do I need a USB-C to USB connector? And someone mentioned above switching the PC's audio output to USB, how do I do that? Thanks.
I would avoid getting this as a possible audio improvement for a phone, especially if your use case is to be used with ambient noise such as outside. This is where its benefits will not be apparent. If you need to drive your headphones and want an improvement in quality or dislike the sound signiture of your headphones, then I recommend software with an graphic equaliser or a headphone amplifier. Also the s8 has decent audio output anyway. It may be that a equaliser fixes 90% of your requirements for a DAC. Also it may not even work with your s8. Mine doesn't work with my pc. Or indeed my phone when connected via USB C. Only when directly plugged in ( there is an additional set of pins for connected devices seperate to the usb c connections which are passed through .. I think that's what it's using )
My mistake! Heat.
No mate. That’s the non anc version.
Noise cancelling is so so. But they do sound fantastic.
