All Berghaus Discounts, Offers and Sale - April 2018
How's the sizing with Berghaus? Is it like North Face where you go up a size.
Yeah, loads of people do it
Buying for next winter in summer ?
Sorry a novice here, what is so good about gore tex?
Agree you can't go far wrong with Gore-Tex, but in my experience Event is a more breathable waterproof fabric.

You simply can't get better than Gore Tex, as specified for UK forces. No matter what they claim nothing else comes close.
If you’re a new customer can you also get another £10 off this jacket?
How is this a "Hot Deal" when it is only available in Size S
Been waiting for the price of this jacket to drop again for ages. Went down to £39.78 back in Sept 2017. Shame only size small is this low price. (annoyed)
I have the trousers and ride to work in them all the time, no sweating
No you dont
You'll sweat to death doing anything other than walking in the pouring rain in this.
Do any of the shops display the tents
Hot from me although looking for a decent price on the 6XL, but going to hang out at least for another year with my Outwell Montana 6. We have the normal Berghaus Air 4 for short breaks and cannot fault it. I've found the only problem if you have a smaller garden is drying the tents with the integrated floors as at least with the old type I can dry the min part in the conservatory and other parts at the back of the living room.
A lot of tent for the money. :D
Hey good idea lol. We need somewhere to store our clothes can’t just leave them in the bag or in a corner :p
Wardrobe? WTF- take both tents and your butler can stay in the old one! :D
The Helly Hansen look decent too - https://www.mandmdirect.com/01/details/HH1190/Helly-Hansen-Womens-Aden-Jacket-Port?lid=QB1
She's not on Whiz.
Oos, missed it. Damn. Great deal
I thought that was TNF? My local yobs doing wear Berghaus, I'm sure - regional differences?
(lol) (lol) (lol)
Look at him he's ready to cause trouble In his local area.....
The power of HUKD
When added to the basket price is £33.21
Sorry for some reason thought it was GO Outdoors, but always worth mentioning.
Always worth checking elsewhere online with GO Outdoors as a couple of times I've found a jacket and also fleece a lot cheaper somewhere else and they match it and also beat it by 10%.
Perhaps worth adding that this is Berghaus branded (and not Mens Island, which was my ignorance!)
Got to join up to even look at the item?? No thanks
Berghaus Arran Hydroshell Waterproof Men's Jacket, Blue at £80, L only
Gortex is as good as blurb makes out. 8)
How are returns handled? can you return to store or do you have to send it back in the post?
Medium has 5 in stock Large has over 10 XL sold out Gore-tex is OK, but not in the same universe as Paramo gear. My Paramo Velez light lets the wind through to ventilate but is totally waterproof. Most Gore-tex stuff will let in after 3 hours in the rain and if you sweat a lot like I do when walking the inside of a Gore-tex garment will be soaking. Paramo doesn't let rain in, and lets the sweat out. It is remarkable gear and well worth the price.
Berghaus give a lifetime guarantee on their boots too.
Gortex after 12 months the retailer before that as said in previous comment. I've done it twice with no issues. It is Gortex that offer the "lifetime" guarantee.
But who do you put in the claim to? Goretex or the boot manufacturer? Goretex is as good and bad as any other waterproof material. I also find they start to leak at the crease point where your foot bends.
Personally I just buy in store, my current pair of Scarpa boots were fitted and purchased at Cotswold outdoor. Got home found cheaper at Millets so they refunded the difference.
Gortex have a lifetime guarantee (reasonable wear and tear for age). I've had two pairs replaced. One pair was five years old and used a few times per week. All I had to do was send photos and proof of purchase then got another pair sent within a week having sent the old pair back (also sent a prepaid UPS label). Easy and worth doing if you have an issue with the waterproofness. I found it pretty hard to believe how brilliant the service was. If it has Gortex on it you deal with Gortex after 12 months of owning. Before that go back to the supplier.
You really need a gortex jacket
the other thing to be aware of with this. is that the pockets fill with water. so don't be putting anything in there.
I've got one, it's essentially a good looking bin bag. It'll keep rain and wind out no problem but has zero insulation and no breathability so you end up sweating
Get yourself to a charity shop and you will find something like this usually for 5/10 quid :)
a smile could have sold it to me,miserable sod
Mine arrived last week, 3 - 1 nice surprise ! Thank you OP
Yeah mine was 3 in 1 also!! Cheers OP
Just to give you the heads up guys, mine was delivered today and I can confirm it is the 3 in 1, fantastic find OP
Over £50 now

I think amz sold out, shame would have jumped at thr 100L version
Hahaha it is lockable!
Gareth Williams edition.
To be fair, that is what I paid. The price jumped after I brought it. 80 is big enough for me though!
The 100 litre is £10 cheaper amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01N3UVO4T/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_200_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=KPTFZ08SHPQ0GGFGA1NZ +£3.95 postage
Cold, it was around £20 only a few weeks ago!
It's gone up. It's now 54.78
I have a small man's size (oooerr) of this jacket in green, worn once..just too small for me. Anyone wanna buy it?
And where do you live that you would question on the whereabouts someone would have there jacket stolen ? The UK is rife with thieving toerags no matter where you are.
👏👏👏👏👏👏 well played sir (lol) (lol)
Got one last year. Stops the cold wind!
To be fair I did leave the car unlocked on a main road...
Good deal, thanks. Needed a replacement for an old Camelbak! (I'm avoiding buying said brand now that I've been made aware of their parent company's ties to a subsidiary making assault rifles for public use in the States - https://www.outsideonline.com/2284921/consumers-ask-retailers-cut-ties-vista-outdoor)
Got mine as well, (2L version) it also has the baffle in the middle to stop it sloshing around. It doesn’t show that in the photo of 2L version. also got 2mini packs of haribo :-)
just received now, comes in a mavic sealed box and includes the plug/play adaptor so the pipe can be disconnected from the reservoir with no leaks, usefull for bags that you have to push the pipe through material
Great price to have as a spare, ordered (y)
It is a spare accessory for a hydration pack (bag) I’m pretty certain it’ll come with the tube and mouthpiece I forgot about that I used code ECWJ2R £5 off £30 spend as I ordered another item
Ok price but I bought it for £24 recently on amazon, doesn’t come with a shoulder strap and the hand straps are quite short so awkward to carry when heavy.
40l more for £2.50 below!!!
