Cold from me. £29 is far too much for a 720p dash cam. Spend a little more to get something decent. Here's one that looks identical but offers 1080p or the blue on for £20 Heres some cheap alternatives on Amazon. Most don't include micro SD but most people will have spare ones or cheap enough to buy on their own. Here's a 1080p front and 720p set for £32. Another for £30 Just front for £23 Front for £24 Front and rear for £30 I'd recommend one with WiFi, great being able to download videos without having to remove and read SD card. This one has WiFi and SD card for £33. 1080p + WiFi for £22.50 or £25 If you shop around the 70mai pro can be picked up for around £40. Great dash cam. Couldn't fault mine. Great picture, discreet and fits around the sensors on my windscreen much better than these ones that hang down.

These seem good value for entry level Walkie Talkies for kids, as opposed to specific 'kids' ones. They are on deal of the day at amazon. Reviews look good. As usual the rage is … Read more

As SouthWales said there’s don’t need a licence and should be ok for your use, but that all depends how far away from each other you think you will be. In PMR446 type radios there is very little difference in specification and so range between radios it’s all is all down to your preferences in colour, build quality and brand.

SOUTHWALES

You don't need a licence for the above radios, they are pmr licence free.

Thanks Gavin! I found this very useful and did not realize that I would need to have a licence. Can you recommend any entry level Motorola or other good brand walkie talkie devices. The intention is to use for hikes, bike ride groups or maybe use on holiday to communicate if practical. Thanks again. Merry Xmas & Happy new year!

effingandjeffing

are these good for a heist ? asking for some 'friends'

PMR446 type radio. Take the 3km range with a pinch of salt, maybe in open country but not likely a few hundred meters in a built up area. PMR446 has limits on the power it can transmit so other brands will have similar ranges, however they don’t need a licence so may be fine for your planned use. More powerful ones cost anything from £10-20 each for cheap Chinese radios up to hundreds for well made brands such as Motorola. You also need a licence at £75 for five years but it’s nothing to Learn or an exam to take not like a amateur or ham radio licence it’s learn, it’s only a form to fill out online

Yep. I bought a one from China off ebay, no box just in bubblewrap, for £7. My neighbour bought one from Tesco for £25, which is regularly £12.50, and cosmetically it's exactly the same except the one from Tesco has a brand name printed one. (Sadly!) We compared footage of our journeys to work and the quality is the same. Anyone who knows about the electronics market is well aware of rebadging.

PaulandPam

If someone was to clone a dash cam why would they clone such a crappy one? You may well be correct but I suspect they are all from the same Chinese factory with the same internals just a different brand name and the seller twisting the truth about it's abilities in the specs.

Dennis.Bell

This is a generic dashcam, available for less than a tenner on ebay.

georgesvalch

I don't think a penny more will make a difference for this camera. Pixels are just in the specifications.

I think you can do better on amazon for 30 quid (1080p). Sorry op

Has anyone found any of these in a London TESCO?, thanx.

pmackers

Tesco Newtownabbey. The same place as this deal. They had about 15 home phones all reduced so it might be worth checking your local store

AdamDudley

Where from. Our phone does ring occasionally. But it’s been broke for a year. At such a bargain price I might get that so I can put it down on all the PPI people.

pmackers

Someone will need it someday (angel)

johnf007

Why pmackers - you don't need it! It's junk ;)
