Vertical blinds slats up to 89 mm wide and up to 2400 mm in length - from 99p @ eBay (seller store: vertical-blinds-direct)

If you're looking to replace your vertical blinds, after decoration, then why not save yourself a few quid and just replace the slats, all slats start from 99p and come with free c… Read more

Possibly, but some of the sellers charge for delivery, however the main point of the deal is more for those who didn't realise that you can buy replacement slats to give new life to an old set of blinds once you've decorated, meaning that they do not need to replace the whole set, and pay over the odds.

Isn't this like a standard price offered by dozens of eBay sellers? Not voted either way but cannot see anything anusual about this price.

the missus got this couple of months back and we ended up returning as it'd always fall off. the idea is good, and we really need something like this, but the execution is terrible

What's "Gro" got to do with it?

Not sure how that was added to the title because I certainly didn’t add it :/

ndksamb

Are these any good? I bought the £2.99 ones from Argos and the quality seems pretty kak, so on the look out for some better ones at a reasonable price

kane7990

These are normally for the rear windows to protect your children from the sun.......

odom

Seems a shame to skip the good old tradition of getting into your car and burning yourself on the seat, then burning yourself on the steering wheel when you try and drive off during the 0.5 days of sun we get each year.

Is this a bag you put over your head?

paulandpam1

Not only summer, I use mine all year round because of permanent night shifts. What I did though was remove all the pop off rubber suckers and attach pieces of stick-on velcro around the wall surrounding the window and the matching already attached velcro sticks to these, It now takes seconds to attach and remove the blind and gives total black out without condensation forming on the rear in winter.

Yes with the chance that someone might find the same bargain or be a miserable sod and keep it to yourself although because of moaners like you many people don't bother so lots of non moaners miss out on the chance of a bargain. Heat added for the post and for **** off the moaners and heat jealous freaks.

I had this issue with these black out blind a few years ago when I first bought them. I got in touch with the manufacturer who sent me out a new set free of charge and I had to send mine off to them so they could look at the suction cups. Their customer service was quite good.

adamnshame

Just a personal warning: I put this up for one mildly bright morning and the heat cracked the internal pane of a double glazed window. I'm renting so can't testify for the quality of the windows but haven't had any other problems them.

we purchased this a while (2yr!) and never used it until this summer. it's now a permanent fixture behind his roller blackout blind and I am generally very impressed. we also took it on holiday recently and it was a life saver due to no real curtains in the appartment. needless to say we purchased another today as a spare

Just ordered some Venetian samples before I buy, let us know if you're happy with your blinds when they arrive.

sparkler2016

Thanks I will keep a eye out for these floors. The blinds do have safety attachments as its regulation to legally have this. These are not Hilarys but their sister company Web Blinds. Hope I have no faults with mine. Thanks for your info.

Saved over £400 from their own rrp.Ive had hillarys before and they were expensive even with the 40% of certain styles gimmick.I'd never get them again as 3 out of 4 blackout rollers broke and my verticals aren't as good quality as a local shop fitted in my old house. Also never fitted safety parts on cords and had to fit them myself after contacting them.
