All Bodum Discounts, Offers and Sale - April 2018
"the fresh way to brew fresh coffee and tea" Lamest tagline award.
Quite probably, yes.
I paid £3 for coffee set without travel mug but with two glass mugs
These are great for keeping your drink warmer for longer. Mine cost much more than these
Bodum glasses are the best for cold and hot drinks. I don't generally drink lukewarm drinks so Bodum is all I need :D
Nice one thank you! x2 glasses and a mug for me too lol
...thank you. (cheeky)
This is now £9.06 ! for induction and oven safe bargain. I killed my pirex casserole dish using the hob last week starting an oven risotto. Also got a bread box for £7.50 in off white from £30.
That not very big at all.
I bought 4 just to avoid the delivery charge, anyone living teeside who wants one can get in touch with me
Amazon reviews States it's not that great
Agree great price fo item but £8 for delivery is a joke it’s probably that price to make up the lost on the item £2.99 max delivery for this item...
Was biting @ £13 then saw the deliver was £8 WTF not giving any company 8 quid for a small item to be delivered. Adding Heat for a good find
Thanks. Brought one to try reviews on Amazon was promising. Heat for deal
From the Amazon listing for this item. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bodum-Chambord-Cast-Glass-Diameter/dp/B017E3ZIRK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522333230&sr=8-1&keywords=Bodum+wok Q: Is the internal part unglazed? I do not want a finish on the inside. A: The inside is unglazed. But the manual says not use hard utensils as it is some special mix of iron. I coated the inside of mine with oil and baked it for 1 hour in the oven to season it. It got a proper coating and i cant see the original surface any more. A: No, not glazed, and I find it heats very evenly, very good really
Does this have some sort of coating on the cooking surface of the wok?
Do the Chinese supermarket woks work with induction hobs? Wondering if they would be too thin to register properly with the hob. Maybe this Bodum Wok is better suited to being a good casserole pot?
Thanks Yatty (highfive) I also got a grater £4 https://www.bodum.com/gb/en/11409-01, bread box £7.50 https://www.bodum.com/gb/en/11555-913, 5 large storage jars £4.75 https://www.bodum.com/gb/en/8700-109-2 Spent £54 so got free delivery already have a cheap wok. . . .with handle :D
Why is this cold?
A hot vote from me.
"Lowest ... is £28.24, so quite close" Close, but no cigar ... or heat.
I use this pushchair. Very poor quality.
Ah ok, thanks for clarifying. Didn't spot another deal there?
These seem better value amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00NV5EXBS/ref=pd_aw_sim_201_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=YSEX9AFDZ0K91CVKE5KS&dpPl=1&dpID=411GQ2RizAL 4 for not much more!
I was meaning Debenhams is cheaper and with free delivery (with code)
This deal is from Amazon. The review does not mention Debenhams
Not a problem :D
When you post, at the top there's a 'Deal link' box. Easiest was is to copy (CTRL + C) the link/url from the website and then paste (CTRL + V) the link/url in the HUKD Deal Link field. Hope that helps.
I couldn’t work out how to post the link, I’ve not got a clue how to work these deals but it seemed to good not to try & share it !!! Thankyou to @zeekillah for finding & sharing it
Great spot OP!
I've had a few of these cheap (sub £100) burr grinders and they just do not last long term if used everyday. They would be fine for occasional use but the motor will eventually lose torque and not have the oomph to start grinding. The most important part of any grinder is the motor and a decent motor on its own is expensive, no short cuts here. A good grinder can run its motor at relatively low speeds so as not to heat the grounds up too much and spoil the coffee and for this it needs very high amounts of torque. Do yourself a favour and invest in a decent grinder. I find that a good indication of whether a grinder (and lots of other items) is good or not is if you can buy lots of spare parts (burrs, motor, bits of casing, hopper etc.) for it easily. A good grinder will make better coffee and is probably more important than the coffee machine itself. Get a good one and you won't regret it, even consider second hand as good ones are built to last. Don't expect to get anything decent for less than £100 though.
great thanks for all of that info, I ordered online so I have the confirmation email etc. I've not got much on this weekend so I might try and get something done about it. Cheers (y)
Tescos, its the person who supplied you that did not supply a good enough item, iirc electricals are expected to last 5-8 years depending... I've have TVs fixed and other stuff replaced at about the 4-5 year mark... after that it starts to get to be a very thick brick wall... Have a google around, there are a lot of webpages saying how to do it the easiest way, MoneySavingExpert could be a good start. You will probably need either the receipt or a credit card statement with the payment date on it, or some guarantee slip etc to prove the age and that you got it from them. If this model only came out on a certain date that can be enough to prove its not lasted long enough. Tescos might try and refuse or knock you back saying go to the manufacturer, this isn't strictly legal since its about the supply of goods of sufficient standard/quality. But you may end up having to go to the manufacturer in the end because you hit a brick wall you cant be bothered with.
might be worth a punt, should I complain to Tesco or Delonghi? :/
Complain, electricals should last a lot longer, 5-7 years is expected, and you paid a lot for a "quality brand". Complain it's not up to scratch and get it replaced or a deal on a new one. Sale of Goods Act, or whatever they changed the name to...
Hello. Just to let you know with the Assam glass cups, you get 2 for £7.50. This is not made clear on the website.
IKEA one is pretty good!
You make the coffee and i'll bring the biscuits, heat added ;)
Is this any different to any other French press coffee maker? I’d like one that zero sediment gets through “the plunge”!
I am waiting on the Asam being delivered. I am pretty sure you get 2 for £7.50 although Debenhams don't seem to make this clear. Will report back!

Plenty in store at the Ricoh this morning.

I though Currys were out of stock for delivery?
I'm a klutz :-( I'm using the Bodum equivalent now, and so far, haven't broken one. I got them on offer from Sainsbury's.
Curry's have them at £14.99 at the moment save £5.
I am a klutz, and haven't managed to crack mine yet. I may just have been lucky, though!
Red now £31.66 same link! The Argos model make be OUT OF STOCK? It is in London https://www.argos.co.uk/product/1872093?utm_campaign=11553376&cmpid=COJUN&cjsurferid=139204174092775003:x6JPwxzRBwJd&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_content=Pepper+Deals+LTD&utm_source=CJ&catalogId=10001&DM_PersistentCookieCreated=true&storeId=10151&_$ja=tsid:11674|prd:1546795&utm_term=1453124&referredURL=https://www.argos.co.uk/product/1872093&referrer=COJUN
I got it for 50p yesterday too, kids loved it
just got mine 50p asda
What I will say is to read the review because it’s given 1star although there’s 3 reviews and 2 reviews give it 5star. The 1star review was because there kids couldn’t open it and moaning it’s not child friendly, some people moan about absolutely anything! (lol)
You’ll probably find people voting hot because it’s more of a good find and a good product to use for Halloween. Asda own squirty cream cost £1.10, so as this is 10p cheaper, I think you’ll find it is a deal.
Looks like it's normal price and NOT a deal? https://groceries.asda.com/product/squirty-cream/asda-slime-green-squirty-scream/1000009332877
We got the grey version of this when it was last on offer at £8.99. The lettering started to wear off after a couple of months :( but Argos did give me a refund (y) #justsaying
that colour, im not surprised that they are being sold off cheap lol
An Argos worker could buy one after working only half a day, HOT
Awful !?! It's LUSH.. Heat
