Bought was of these in a 2nd hand shop in Hereford for 50p and never been used. Thumbs up anyway.

Dr_lovegod

Don’t want to worry coffee experts. I have a french press a cant get enough of decent coffee. if you google ground coffee and Cholesterol you will find cafetière and french press coffee does not Contain good fats from the beans and will affect your LDLs (Bad cholesterol levels) but if you Drink coffee from a filter coffee maker your cholesterol is not affected cholesterol. Any ground coffee guru can add to this?

GDB2222

You don’t have to fill it. If you want half a pot, then brew half. Incidentally, 8 cup is misleading. It’s actually one and a half mugs, unless you throw a load of milk into the mug.

£11.98 is the price with delivery, no idea what Op did originally as they say 12 glasses for £4.50 in the Op as well, which mods have just fixed so probably got the title wrong as well.

No there is a special filter that only lets coffee in, so if you want to use tea you have to buy the one for tea

myintranet

Had one of these & returned - very spill-not-proof, and every time you open it to drink, there’s coffee/drink remaining on the open cap, which ends up on you face (nose). Wouldn’t take it just for that reason alone! 8)

madel79

Rubbish

MildmanneredCalvin

Prefer these in metal to be honest. Not voting either way.

dirty_stan

I really like these, had a few now and I usually get 1-2 years from each, used a few times a day and I rate them. They're not leak proof, you must keep them upright otherwise they'll start dripping straight away. Decent size spout. I'd agree with edgeone, hand wash only otherwise you'll notice liquid getting between the 2 skins. Drop them once on concrete and they'll crack, I've lost a couple like this. They do them in stainless but I prefer to see how much coffee I have left. And if you're a coffee gannet, they do a larger size one which is great. And they also make them with the push down ground coffee filter although I was never impressed with that, coffee grinds always seem to make their way into the drink. Despite all the bad points I really like these but mostly because there are not many clear insulated travel cups.

I accept your point but their Ts & Cs say the order is accepted when they issue an order number (which they did). The Ts & Cs also say that if they make a pricing error they will inform the buyer before accepting the order (which they didn't). They are now ignoring me - no surprise there.

Diogenes007

Received an email "Due to a technical update it impacted our pricing on the platform." Surprised they hadn't noticed any issues after the "update" until peeps started ordering free stuff. lol. (lol) Given comments about previous similar issues, they need to change their system testers.

nag_sup

Prices displayed online are an invitation to treat. They aren't contractually binding.

Brightone

Refunded here too but I'm trying to argue that the order was accepted and therefore the contract established. Not expecting any thing but it's worth 10 minutes of my time

I drink coffee from beans. I drink it black. I have a 3 year old kid*. I always end up late running out the door to the car with armfuls of stuff (pre-pandemic). This sounds perfect for those charge out-the-door moments when I suffer mild disappointment at the taste of my instant coffee** *I also have a wife! Not sure who's worse to get out the door if I'm honest! :D ** I am very aware that this is the epitome of British problems! I should perhaps have registered a new account to moan about this!

Gazz59

a travel mug with delusions of grandeur ? XD

Gazz59

Perhaps you should ask yourself that question? This comment may not seem to make any sense, but it was in reply to a post (removed) from somebody I suspect was trying to be a smart a**. Ah yes people, even here, on one of the best sites (IMSHO) on the WWW, hukdeals, we are plagued by numpties who are never happy unless they are starting a fight....well, trying anyway ;)

Gazz59

Take a look as this (and any other Amazon) offering...+ £4.99 if yer not a Prime member, well I'd simply ask 1 of my friends who have Prime to get it for me, and pay them. I get it cheaper...I get it faster, PERfect.
