What absolute nonsense. Of all the spirits Gin has probably the widest variety of flavours. Vodka on the other hand has to be completely tasteless in order to actually be Vodka. So all of this super premium vodka stuff is a complete con considering the aim of the stuff is to be as tasteless as possible.

rambo_or_mark

Just get friends at airlines to buy them £12 ;)

slavibigspender

Lethal stuff I always get too drunk on this #)

sevstein

I think these were £18 at tesco during the last deal, if that matters this time around

kingmonkey69

All gin tastes the same. It's all about the mixer...

Morrisons have it for £16 if you're not near an Asda.

Juniper17

Could it be Asda vs Morrisons on a price guarantee shop, with enough items, in Asda as it's not 10% cheaper? Potentially £14.40 in Asda rather than £15, outside of Northern Ireland, if you need other items that also aren't 10% cheaper than Morrisons.

Can’t seem to find cheaper anywhere online, lovely taste, I much prefer it to the normal Bombay Sapphire gin but a little more expensive.
amoulden

I too got this when it was £15 on amazon. Much nicer than Bombay. Voted hot as it usually costs more

Berriman0

Im with you on this I only ever buy when on offer, you can’t beat a good amazon gin deal when the price shoots low enough to warrant stocking up on a few bottles.

tighty

I bought a lot of them when they were on offer at £15 or close to it. Now I can't justify the expense when you can get a 100cl of sapphire for £20 most of the time.

Same glass is added to the 1l bottle of Bombay at Tesco for free, it is 25 pounds a bottle. If you read the writing from the photo ASDA seems to do the same.

Yes I just put a cup of tea in a mug with coffee written on it and had to pour it away. Just couldn't bring myself to drink it would have been too weird XD

MSK.

Just in case you forget what you're drinking?

Pigface50

Lovely glasses ...and unfortunately I think sold out in hb :(

amychristine

It’s the same glass as the glass and small bottle in home bargains yes! Unfortunately I couldn’t get my hands on the previous one. You don’t usually get the option to buy the glass seperatly as last year it came in the box with a 70cl bottle.

Southerners also love chips with curry sauce.....

saltygaz

I stand corrected it seems its the Welsh - https://yougov.co.uk/news/2012/02/21/great-british-chip-divide/

davidridge1

You have just stereotyped northerners.

chapchap

This is so British!

saltygaz

I presumed they sought to corner the northern market who like curry sauce over chips, red sauce for me everytime.

lol. from the photo of the bottle, i thought this was bath soak and wondered what is so special about it that it is so expensive until i realised it was a drink! (lol)

Red_Robbo

Cold??!! Just because it was £2 cheaper a whole month ago!! So what would you do if you wanted a bottle - wait forever until it becomes available again for £16? Totally illogical voting. (mad)

I think ALDIs gin is just as good and it's about £14 per litre. Bombay sapphire used to be 47% and was worth the extra but now it's just like all the other budget gins.

sbosque

Used wholefoodonline for years and I strongly recommend them, great price & range, excellent customer service and allow you to buy bulk. Plus every week they offer a free product if you order. Deliveries are not that quick but are free as long as you spend the minimum. You do can cumulate topcashback with their own cashback.

cammeyz

Bought from here before via amazon....great products but their website is a whole different level of awful for many reason!

bellboys

Sort of puts me off ordering as once the bag is open it will surely degrade the contents unless you put it in many sealed storage jars? Which then defeats the object of saving money by buying in bulk?

Chanchi32

Same here, my order came yesterday, the porridge oats bag is a beast!

Most of the people I know from Mumbai still call it Bombay

Bargain.Lover

Distilled in Hampshire (Laverstoke near Whitchurch) and bottled in Warrington. The distillery is worth a visit. They refurbished an old mill that made paper for banknotes and did an excellent job cleaning up the river running through it. You can sometimes find offers for the visit online. Tour ends with a cocktail tailored to your choice of botanicals. Driver gets a soft drink but a minature and tonic to take home.

Shouldn't it be Mumbai Gin?

sandstone1

Like i said though it's £15 and im pretty sure sapphire is 40% in the uk.Star of bombay is 47%.

willysnapper

Bombay London Dry is 43% proof whilst Bombay Sapphire is 47% proof, that's aside from the difference in the botanicals used to make them.

sandstone1

Mass produced all the same. For £15 a litre who cares.Decent tonic and away you go.

FluffyCharlie

Good price for a litre - this is only 37.5% but a good straight dry gin. Would go for it if I hadn't already loaded up on Tanqueray last week at Sainsburys.

m5rcc

I don't work for MySupermarket.com. Take issue with them.
