Anyone know best place to get good quality cheap 14 or 16oz gloves with shin guards
Thanks for the advice. I am not planning on doing anything other than training so look as though I have a couple of options.
Any but 16oz can also be used for sparring as well as giving more wrist support
Ordered a few bits, thanks op
Yeah, that’s what I did. Went to Sainsbury's, purchase the gloves, keep (strong) them in the cupboard and never use them....
That will be the New Year resolution period over then. ;)
Thought it was strange that the boxing gloves I got from poundland had metal toe caps. Now I know why I got banned from my local boxing club.
Never had an air freshener from poundland that's lasted more than a few days
Boxing Glove, I knew my eyes were bad but not this bad8)
the fluff on the velco seemed to get non sticky to the hook side, weird I know as the fluff is still there it just wont attach to the hooks.
Hmmm not had any problem with mine. Over a 1 year old, used twice a week
Velcro went on my Twins very quickly with training just 2 times a week, didn't rate them at all.
awwwww, these are the very first pair of real boxing gloves I bought from Thailand over 10 years ago. Surprised you could still buy them, excellent quality and very durable.
Marked as spam as the seller has little feedback. I posted that deal before this one buddy
£29.99 + £2.99 delivery on Amazon
you can fine lot cheaper then that ...Rubbish quality
is this a good one as there seems to be a lot around this price?
Damn. At first glance I thought it was a tasty falafel. Disappoint :|
Not really a good deal seen them at that price many times before...
Thanks m8. I have a chronic masturbation problem so I'll buy them for wearing in bed. Cheers
could come in handy for new year sales...
Also Sports Direct
didn't even notice that, good spot, thanks!
They do these on ebay too, just a quick search you can find the same seller on amazon and ebay, think you buy 3 or more and get 20% off too.
What weight are they
Real cow leather putting me off.
My parents put these on me before going to bed each night - I'm 56 now and still don't need glasses ! oO
Yeah bought them a couple of hours ago, they feel quite nice to wear, and seems good quality. And welcome to Hot UK Deals :)
Amazing quality if anyone wants to know. I do boxing and have for a while. The quality of these gloves are better then Lonsdale ones i bought for over £50. Nice find!
I find a good hard kick works fantastically :3
I wonder what IWOOT's comment would be when asked how they feel about promoting domestic abuse.
the hand works a treat and its free
Yeah because someone seriously expects their partner to wake up and ask who did that...sorry love the boxing glove did it! Ohhhh ok, Your off the hook then... looks at boxing glove :|
Hypnosis is the answer. It can't cure snoring, but it can stop the other person minding.
You should never share gloves, particularly borrow ones from a gym that have been worn by god knows who. The smell is enough to put you off. Defo get your own, even a cheap set is better than catching whatever you probably will from shared gloves - warts are not a good look (i'm talking on your hands before anyone starts). And get a set of wraps to use with them.
No, but as someone who boxercises every week (along with lots of gym & running) i can tell you that having your own gloves/pads might not be a bad idea... the ones we use in the class *STINK* due to everyone sweating in them. A few of the members do bring their own, i guess thats what these are aimed at.
Quite. Either jokey comments about violence are OK on HUKD are they are not. Clearly, it's fine to joke about domestic violence against men so I suppose it's also fine to joke about violence against women.
Oh and why aren't you "disgusted" at the original post about the woman getting revenge on a man ?
Are you serious ? It was completely tongue in cheek. The useless part being that you can't get fit just by having boxing gloves. Boxers do a lot more training than just sparring or hitting a bag.
OOS :( would have ordered for defo if were in stock! Neva mind!
Crazy cheap for a pair of real leather gloves that will last you many years. Oh well oO
I just picked up a pair. There are still some left in some London stores, so they can still be reserved and bought.
Ive got the old ones from about 2-3 years ago, the material inside the glove went after about 12-18 months of regular use, but apart from that they are good. Great value for money.
old slang talk up my way. sorry for making things far too complicated for u , sorry you Bucks? ;)[/quote]
Spelling and punctuation goes out the window at the time I posted that lol
Shame delivery is £5 unless their is a local store you can get them delivered too, shame my local isn't listed
mma at tesco? whats the world coming to? used to be all this stuff was only available at specialist shops and cost an arm and a leg
I know the fingers are missing ,but at £5.99 you can`t complain. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Will I get laughed at wearing these to a hardcore boxing gym? I've just started going and had to wear some smelly gloves that the gym lent me last time. Oh and thanks op got a pair reserved.
Great got two pairs thank you.
i know what you mean,i have bought 5 items in last few days, lol.but was good bargains.just ordered sommats else, nooooooooooooooooo,ha ha ha
Additional Information * Please note item 9237238 has previously been on sale at £12.99. Current selling price valid until 01/03/2011
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhh! If I see one more Argos deal I'm gonna screammmmmmmmmmmmmm!..........too late!
Now down to £22.99 :)
£15 just for the punchbag wall bracket most places (and its folding) so £10 for a bag (even if its 2ft) wraps, gloves, pads, skipping rope is a very good price IMHO.
A 2ft bag is good enough to take punches from a small man or an average sized woman ;) This is more like it, although at £59.99 it's not cheap http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3024832/Trail/searchtext%3EEVERLAST.htm
Its not the size that matters its what u do with it :P
Bag is only 2ft in size oO
true....... off to find Wii gumshield:whistling:
