All Braun Series 7 Discounts, Offers and Sale - October 2019
Pay £10 more and get Panasonic LV65. better, closer shave and never cuts you.
great razor and excellent price
Expired now 143
Neither me or Amazon have seen this under a £100. I would be very curious to see a lower price.
This gets under 100 normally, doesn't it? Certainly around 80 without the cleaning station
Guess that's the problem as I use mine everyday
Thanks needed a new shaver and this one looks the business
Best shaver I had. Closest shave and very reliable.
Series 9 is in boots now for 1/2 off - 149
I might look into that. The problem with me was not holes in the foil, but it just did not seem to be cutting as well (I have very sensitive skin and it really effects it if it tugs whilst shaving). Thanks Mark.
I was also extremely annoyed with the heads on my Series 7. I had a Series 5 and the foil lasted for around a year, but with the Series 7 i would only get around 2 or 3 months before getting holes in it. I had 2 new heads replaced under warranty because they lasted such a short time. I have now switched to a Panasonic ES-LV65 and have been much happier. I'm almost at a year and the foil still looks good.
Good to know. About the heads, that is
Yes think it was around that price when I bought mine from Argos a year or so ago back then. Just annoyed at the heads on these as they don't seem to last as long as they use to (I do have a tough stubble though, but head did not even last a year).
Pretty sure Argos is cheaper than this. The 7855 for the shaver and case is £78 - but if you click on it you'll be taken to the Braun 5. But if you put it in your trolley, it'll be the Braun 7 Edit: It appears none in my area. But may be in yours. Who knows ?
Weird, cheapest price for the full kit, yet cold, the razor on its own is £99!
Great price for a very good package but seems to be OOS
Cold, (confused) (confused) (confused)
That's a good price - don't don't why people are voting it cold - I doubt you can get it cheaper than that.
The price has changed to £159.99....
Not essential at all. It's just a convenient docking station effectively that cleans, lubricates & charges when you put the shaver in it. The cleaning fluid is around £15 for a pack of three but they last a few months use each once opened depending on how often you use the doc. Handy as you always know where to find it and you know its cleaned if anyone else has used your shaver.
How essential is it to have the cleaning station with these? Might take the leap and try one- tired of a wet shave
Bought 2 of the 7898cc as christmas presents (£125 each from amazon) been told from both recipients that they are the best shave they've had. So i'd imagine this one gives a good shave, but doesn't have the cleaning station.
Temped. I’ve had my series 7 for 5 years and will soon be in need of a replacement foil. Not sure if I should stump up £40 for the foil or bite the bullet and get a whole new unit with new battery and guarantee.
A bit of shower gel should kill off bacteria too, actually. Wondering though... Do you use it as a wet shaver? I prefer using my 3 series dry, so don't need to wash it too much (I do with soap every month or so, but otherwise just shake out the hair dust each time)
I find the cleaning alcohol to works well and it kills bacteria from the blade - I’m happy to pay for that but your suggestion is a good one as a alternative.
The cleaner bit is a waste of time - you just need the cheaper version that's waterproof, bit of showergel and a few seconds on the ultrasound setting and it's clean as a whistle.
Either buy this or pay some exra ant buy the Panasonc LV95 with cleaner/charging dockposted earlier for £120ish both great and 2 best electric shavers out there.
Good price, but commonly comes down to this I think. Same at Argos at the moment
This is a great price and a really good shaver. Yes, you have to factor in the cleaning cartridges but they do keep the shaver spelling nice and looking clean! The head will need changing every 18 months, but this is the same for all electric shavers (well 24 months for rotary ones). This is a great Christmas present!
Got my series 7 in 2011 for ~ £100. Still going strong and the battery life is still amazing. Definitely worth it
Why do they claim it will now last up to 7 years? My 7 series is still going strong after 13 years. Good price for this
Much different between these and series 9?
I bought a Braun I had seen on here a few years ago nothing fancy just a bog standard one and it's still going strong think it was around £20-30 mark I'm a skin flint (y)
Yes they do expire and have a expiry date but just add anything to your account just in case. You can become a student, most of us are £14 NUS card, you need either a free course or a cheap paid for one or as some hot dealers do just say they are somewhere they don’t check and 6 months free amazon and £39 a year for three years.
Thanks - all these years of shopping with Amazon and I never knew about these - so I guess I can add any useful ones and they will be applied should I make a purchase for the produc at a later date....wish I was a student, looks like you get good perks.
there had been a few vouchers on the amazon voucher page, they don't expire when there are offers on and for the 7 series they were still valid over Black Friday, added that another student discount which they had at the time (most of us here are cough students) and it took it down to around £56. In the end I got it for free because they were supposed to deduct the price from gift vouchers I had on the account but they didnt so told me to just keep it after trying to fix it for a couple of weeks. https://www.amazon.co.uk/vouchers-coupons/b/ref=sv_gb_3?ie=UTF8&node=5522783031
wow that was cheap - could you please advise what other additional discounts you were able to apply - just trying to plan for if it comes up again this year. thanks.....
Disposables as recommended by Plaster weekly... :D You can't beat wet shaving for closeness but early morning electric razors are just quicker...
Will this model (s) fit in a cleaning station, does anybody know?
Wrong again, apologies would be in order (y)
It is under health and beauty in Argos catalogue, so should work
not sure if code applies to this
RowanDDR’s comment “I’ve had this almost 8 years.....” which is why I showed my comment as a reply to it!
which comment are you referring to?
I’ve had mine about 6 years and I’m sad to say I agree absolutely with this comment. Definitely not worth this price point anyway imho.
not too bad price, but this model has been on offer for £100 many, many times. and I think that's what it's worth.
I have this. Takes an age to cut through a weekends worth of growth. I wouldn't say it was worth the money.
Cheaper on eBay £94.90
Back on at £84.99 again
gone back up to 99.99 today :(
Thanks for that. Replacing my 6+ year old series 7 as it needs a new foil and they are now £40+ and suspected the battery may eventually be in the way out some time.
Was 2 weeks ago at Argos for 79.99.....
Great shaver was this price at Amazon yesterday got it myself for less than £60 at the end of November with amazon voucher and a deal, posted it but never got as much heat as the Op, don’t think yesterday’s Amazon one got as much either :)
Got my lad the 7855 from argos for £84.99 not sure what the difference is between models
10% off promotion for prime students. Brings it down to £80.99 at checkout.
It's a fantastic razor
Thx eslick that is great to know you are happy with Braun razor I hope I will be :)
been less than this in the past and managed to pick one up with for £57 around black friday with old voucher code still on my account and student discount, great price non the less and an excellent razor.
But the stores have plenty in stock. Not sure why they are no longer going to stock them as it is a current model of shaver.
Thanks but site says sold out and won't be receiving more stock. http://www.boots.com/braun-series-7-pulsonic-electric-shaver-replacement-foil-10076958
Boots have the 70s heads for £33
It seems quite tricky to find a new shaver head for the series 7 at the moment (model 70S). They used to be £30 on Amazon but no longer available. I’ve not voted.
I voted hot, but perhaps some are thinking of deals where a Series 9 was just £119 - I think back in November?
To the editors/Mods... The £10 voucher has been taken off the posted offer, since I added this, so this could be deleted, removed or thrown into the bowels of hell. best wishes
I meant to put this in
Click on the Orange voucher thing to bring it down by £10. Its not 10% its just a tenner, if that helps. steve
I have a student account but I don't have 10% off. £10 voucher makes it £119.99. What am I missing?
I could :)
