shame the website dont work................

Stayed here last year on similar deal, nice place, restaurant service was very slow if that bothers you & yes in the middle of no where.

Heat added for a good deal. We did this same deal the last time it was on and for the money you cant really go wrong. To be fair, the room will be in a modern annex rather than the lovely house in the photos and ours was a bit more "basic" than the one shown here, but it was comfortable with nice surroundings, the 3 course evening meal was very good (lots of choices), the breakfast was excellent, and you can't argue with free drinks! We didn't know the area so went to Stourport-on-Severn for a look round on the day we arrived and to be honest it's a fairly lacklustre town, though it may be a bit more energised in the summer when the boat basin amusements are in full swing. The next day on the way home we went via Bewdley and that's a lovely place and well worth an hour or two to look around.

Is this a hotel in the middle of nowhere? What is there to do or see outside?

This has been going on for years !!!

Beefeater do this too, it's great me and two boys for 9 quid all you can eat and not buffet either, it's all cooked to order. Up to age 16, so two hungry teen boys and a greedy 40 something for 9 quid.

I do this a few times a year. I pay for myself and my 2 kids eat free. The continental breakfast is help yourself, lots of fruit, yoghurtw, range of cereals, toast, croissants and with jams, Nutella and marmalade. And the server get you 1 cooked breakfast, but you can order as much as you want. Then there is plenty fruit juice and tea and coffee. It's great as a catch up with friends and all the kids get together.

Exactly what we did and absolutely loved it, all transport laid on with the excellent bus service between hotel and parks, plus magical express to and from airport. I would go for more than a week though, if affordable for you. We are planning on doing this again as we had such a good time

If you wanted to do the full range of parks (ie Disney and Universal-9 park) you would need closer to £630 per person and that wouldn't include Busch gardens/Sea World. (£3150 total per family of 5) If you wanted the 12 park ticket (to include Disney/Universal/Sea World and Busch Gardens)then this would set you back around £740 per person. (£3700 total for family of 5) If you just wanted to do Disney then you would be looking at around £380 per person. (£1900 total per family of 5) As for spending money whilst you are there (eating, drinking and fuel only) expect to spend anywhere between £2000-£4000+. I guess it depends on how frugal you aim to be. We like to enjoy ourselves whilst away and the rest of the year we can be frugal ! lol. That said, I still try and mix budget eating options with mid-priced dining options and we go through around £3500 for our family of 5 which includes 2 teenagers that are always hungry ! Don't forget the £20 a day car parking fees for the Disney parks if you are driving and staying offsite , these can add up ;) There are ways to get free transportation to the parks but it is a balance of convenience / time I guess. For a family of 5 I'd recommend just paying for the parking. Annual pass holders get free parking and only 1 member of the party needs to have one so if you are someone in your party is planning on visiting more than once in 12months then this is a great way to save on parking charges.

Happiest place on Earth and Epcot is very educational too ;)

As it would be a once in a life time holiday and now thinking due to our child's age that universal wouldn't be suitable now thinking of doing a week just in Disney. Staying on site at Disney. Pre booking food and park tickets and booking flights separately it's coming in at just over £4000 thats giving us £100 a day spending money but does include all our meals

Not cheap, depends on what parks you do and whether you plan to spend on food whilst there. I only did magic kingdom and found the price of food the same as any theme park here but I couldn't do it in a day - each park Need a a good few days so it all adds up. Also get a car!!! We spent about 250 for a week using a chevelot saloon which was fine for us.

Callum - You should take a look at the ikea breakfast offer. Think it would appeal. You are most welcome

The Spring Gardens Cafe has been closed for over 3 months due to major electrical problems which resulted in a legal dispute! It's all there on their Facebook page for anyone who wants proof. Stretching to pull out the racism card there aren't you? I've got no problem eating halal beef, but do you really think it's racist to expect bacon with an English breakfast to be from a pig rather than a cow? Maybe I should have given it a go. I just thought than beef bacon would taste a bit like a thin bit of steak rather than actual bacon...

I love turkey meatballs from Morrisons but they aren't processed like turkey sausages. Try the Morrisons turkey meatballs and burgers from the meat section. Not the sausages though.

Yup just playing with stereotypes as well, the Halal reference is what it is. Any time anyone posts about food on here the English seem to go off on one about Halal meats.

By GDH I’m assuming you mean GBH I don’t understand the halal reference And I know it’s an English breakfast it was a joke the only Irish thing on the plate is the Po-Tay-Toeeeee

Three English men walk into an Irish themed pub. After the third round one was arrested for GDH, one was hospitalised and the other suspended from HDUK for racist rants about how they don’t like halal. Also that breakfast is English.

Couldn’t resist-great deal-just been to Legoland yesterday and my boys 4&7 were a bit bored with was our 3rd time this year so I though this is it. Been to shark hotel in Thorpe Park and Safari Hotel in Chessington so Legoland Hotel will be nice addition to the list ( normally mega expensive even with merlin pass discount)

I did this a few years ago. The pool access is brilliant and kept the kids occupied nicely . It's pretty clear from the OP that this doesn't include the park but there's plenty for th3 kids to do. Heat from me.

Lyeslyes18- it’s a buffet in the main restaurant - there is a menu in the bar but we much preferred the choices in the buffet

So many terrible reviews here, must be at least one decent one... *scrolls down * Nope :o

I would suggest that was the Britannia Hotel policy as opposed to the Magical people of the City, many who gave free food and accommodation to the stranded racegoers. I have yet to visit another City where the people are so welcoming, rip off Britain runs the length and breath of this Island.

also sticky with makeup peeling off and holes in their plaster ;)

Seriously everyone, did you not watch the TV series about this hotel on TV. I missed it but a dick in my company recommended it to me to stay there and after I complained about various elements of my stay at checkout they actually threw my luggage out the front door!!! Seriously stay away unless you are a glutton for punishment

What were the hookers like then? ;)
