6 items breakfast IKEA FAMILY member price £1.75 Regular price £2.50 Offer valid with your IKEA FAMILY card, from Monday to Friday until 11 AM. Full Menu
Well All I can say if it is anything like the Ikea store nearest to me then I wouldn't recommend it.

I Have eaten the store closest to me on three separate occasions and can honestly say the food has always been cold! I was even in the queue once when the staff bought out another tray of "freshly" cooked bacon and sausage but to my disappointment I discovered it was still cold just the same. I wont be going there for a fourth time
Bummer...was £1.50 (£2.25 non-members) last week when I was in.
18% price hike
Just a tip: if you partake in this "breakfast" don't have the free coffee afterwards, it's like having a liquid colonic.
This was £1.50 last month or the month before? Be aware no swaps are allowed. So say you don't want the tomato they won't let you have something else in exchange.

How does it work with one parent and one child
Can recommend this as well, did it for 3 consecutive years. The Hinckley Island hotel is the best one we thought, Twycross Zoo is very good and Conkers was fun as well (although better for slightly older kids - ours were 5 and 7 when we went but probably aim for a couple of years older). Twinlakes is awesome for young kids but probably a 45 minute drive from the hotel.
Also we paid for extra nights in the hotel, I think it was about £80 per night.
Are they all in Leicestershire?
We had a wonderful time doing this a few years ago when our kids were 7 and 4. We used the Hinkley Island hotel which was conveniently located - a business hotel that is quite deserted on a weekend. The breakfast was very good. On one day we visited Twinlakes which was surprisingly good, not Alton Towers but has plenty of good activities for younger kids and no queues. The second day we did the Space Centre which was also good fun. Overall brilliant value for a lovely very memorable weekend.

Easy access from Scotland
I live on the Isle of Wight so I'm slightly biased, but this is a lovely family owned hotel in a great, quiet location. Away from the main town, but still just a short walk (10 mins or so) into town or down to the beach.
I've always loved the isle of Wiggit, great for kids
Voted hot but I think this deal or similar runs all year via the hotel’s own website. I stayed in the next door hotel ( Luccombe Manor) in May which is owned by the same company. We are very fussy about hotels and thought it was excellent. Staff, food and pool were lovely. They are not modern hotels but very comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend

sorry my mistake this is normally the price per night it’s an absolute steal for 2 nights

Sorry to do this but I'd highly HIGHLY discourage you from going here. I booked this the last time this deal was featured on here. It was so bad we left early and after threatening to post a review and images to trip advisor the manager kindly refunded me in full. I don't want to go into too much detail but this place is very run down and dated. The room was cold and dirty. It was just not a pleasant experience. Staff were fine, manager friendly. But this place desperately needs some TLC. Food not great at all either.
Telford’s ok just as good or bad as most other places in the uk , have lived here for over 20 years
Booked it thanks. I especially like the managers responses to negative reviews on trip advisor- I respect the GM for backing his product and his staff. Good man

There's now a lot of evidence that saturated fats (eg maccies fries, fish and chips, cheeseburgers, doner kebabs, avocados, peanuts, pork chops and beef patties) actually reduce bad cholesterol. This means lowering risk of heart attacks.

Yes, that's exactly why Twinings continues to manufacture these pods for years now. If it was a loss making product, I wouldn't have been sharing it here since it wouldn't have existed anymore. There is a market for it, and for those who want it, would buy it. If you were to go for how ratings and temperature work on this website, not only is it influenced by people's personal predilections, but they have a ritual of voting and commenting for all the wrong reasons.

In your defence of the pod system, you are missing out the step of filling …In your defence of the pod system, you are missing out the step of filling the machine with water without spilling any and also comparing the price of a tea in a retail outlet against the 'convenience' of having a Tassimo machine in your kitchen or bedroom.Surely that's similar to comparing the price of a tank of diesel for my punto against the convenience of a chauffeur driven jag. Or am I missing something ?

a) You refill the tank once every 5-6 cups. b) If you have fine psychomotor skills, you won't spill a drop while you're refilling. c) You may not find it convenient, but several other people may.

I’m guessing none of you have been in the ‘outside world’ where you pay nor …I’m guessing none of you have been in the ‘outside world’ where you pay north of £1.5 for a cup of tea. I (and many more like me) are ready to pay for the convenience of this pod, which pours you a cup of tea in a single step, v/s boiling water, pouring it, scrounging for tea bag, waiting for brew, removing tea bag. If you don’t agree, that’s fine and understandable. But there is a market for this product just as much as there is a market for literally anything which may have a specific set of audience, especially if it brings convenience.

I do hope that research extends past the likes of daily newspapers ? …I do hope that research extends past the likes of daily newspapers ? B'mth, like every other seaside town has a high level transient population due to the appeal of the wealth and opportunity. Also like other seaside towns it has a poor area associated with problems which started in the late 80s due to the recession and economy at the time. Hotels closed down and turned into cheap bedsits which attracted high volumes from up north looking for work...Scousers, Geordies, Glaswegians primarily. Thatcher told people to get off their arses and travel so that's what they did ! That area, Boscombe went downhill quickly and has never recovered. Nowadays it associated with Eastern Europeans which brings with it additional problems. Have you ever been to B'mth ?
