Thanks for heads up op

Unfortunately I didn't manage to find out what the T&C's of the voucher were ?So if anyone is passing through Bristol airport and get the voucher, please upload an image. But the "collect on return" is an ongoing service and details of it can be found on the Bristol Airport website.

I believe it's an on going thing for the voucher. I'll be honest, at the time of getting the voucher I didn't think to take a picture or fully read the conditions other than its only valid for that day. I reckon it's at the till attendants discretion, if not a minimum spend. As for the collect on return, I think that's a service they provide all the time. However, on my return I'll try to remember to ask and report back here 😁😁

Flying from Bristol next month so this will be really useful. Thanks OP

Might wanna edit your title to July :p

Works out cheaper to just take your hand luggage and buy enough clothes to last you two weeks when you arrive. All the hotels and villas have decent laundry facilities too. I would definitely go hand luggage only.

Quick look around was £70 for a 20kg parcel, UK to Florida. The last east time I sent anything back home from Florida was more expensive than the other way and it’s not got any cheaper from what I’ve been told? that coupled with the import taxes, duties and examination fees means it’s probably cheaper to pay tui for some luggage? not sure if you can add 1 with luggage and 1 without and so only buy 1 bag?

14 days with just hand luggage? Should be plenty of space.

Not sure about USA but the polish and Bulgarians constantly do it (I’m a Postie) I’m sure it’ll be cheaper than £200 to send a big suitcase both ways, you can obviously send more than the usual 20-25kg so 1 case should do.

Use the official ESTA site ( ) and they will respond to your application within 72 hours max though it's usually almost instantaneous. If you've read that an ESTA may take a few weeks to be approved it was probably on one of those "middlemen" websites that charge a fee for "checking" your application and submitting it for you. Don't use them, they're just a rip-off, do it on the official Esta site and all you pay is $14 per person and you get a response within 72 hours max. Its worth applying for an ESTA even if you think you might go to the US within the next 2 years because then you can grab these last minute bargains with no worries. Provided you have a UK passport I'm not aware of anything else you need to apply for before going to the US, though I strongly recommend you take out Health Insurance before you go.

Is there any part of going to US that takes a couple of weeks clearance or do they just tell you that your ESTA may take a few weeks to be approved?

Every time I've done an ESTA its either been approved instantly or within a few minutes.

No chance of getting the ESTA through by then though so...

Good spot @wilfr3d Now all I need is my bosses at work to give me time off work (yeah right (lol) )

0% APR / No Deposit Used Car Trade-In Deal @ Bristol Street Motors
Updated 16th JunLast updated 16th Jun by GW61LocalLocal
Excellent Deal for those looking to purchase a used car.

There's only ever one winner in a used or new car purchase from a dealer, and it's not the customer!!

I tried this 2 days ago after seeing it on an advert. The price they offered me for my car was pathetic. £1500 less than what webuyanycar offered. And they hadn't even seen it yet so no doubt the price would tumble even more. I don't understand it, surely if I'm going to be buying a car from them they'd offer a good trade in.

Hear hear. It’s not a good deal if they’re saying “I’ll get you 0% credit but give you an awful price on your trade in”. Beware.

Quick maths shows that anyone with a decent credit history can get a loan at a low rate for a loan which means you're not buying from someone advertising 0% Apr when in reality the price of the car is higher to take that into account. With a loan you have more choice to shop around including private and can get more discount on the price as you are paying "cash". Not that I endorse loans or anything, just saying.

Hot. I don’t have a used car.. any hack around that?

Arnos Vale is a fascinating place. An unexpected treasure there is the mausoleum for Raja Rammohun Roy, Indian social reformer who died in Bristol from meningitis. It is built in an Indian style and is among the many grade II listed monuments in the cemetery.

Hard to believe that the Underfall Yard isn't included as one of the twenty

I went in April with 5kg, it’s doable if you have access to a washing machine.

Surely that 2 minute inconvenience is worth it to be able to login on the Ryanair website with your own details than having to wait for a 3rd party to send them out to you.

i think you find that on the beach was much easier as with the ryanair website you had to book the outbound call first and then had to book the return because it was a different airport (and more expensive) meaning it was a lot easier with on the beach as they have already selected the airports

Came to see the deal but staying the for comments, thanks for the entertainment (popcorn)

To be honest I have no idea what POINT you are trying to make apart from you have a strange passion for defending Ryanair's bad reputation and like the use of CAPITAL letters. Don't you think many other airlines fly routes direct which Ryanair don't, hardly sets them apart from other airlines?

We NEVER pay to sit next to each other. Many Ryanair routes are only flown by them direct THAT"S THE POINT !!! their flights are on average 96% full.

I believe TUI’s trading losses are far greater than TC’s as the bulk of the TC’s losses are write down so not affecting their trading position their cash flow seems OKish. I would book a holiday with TC tomorrow if they could do it cheaper than DI

We have done three weeks in the USA with hand luggage only when a couple, sure we have to do a few washes but far better to travel light. We usually now with DD tend to have one piece of hold luggage between us.

People that know the way to a Walmart. You can buy more clothes than you need for less than the cost of baggage and then just donate them on your last day or ship a box home.

There are lots of milks that don't curdle. Interested to see if a milk that nornally curdles doesn't with these teabags on the same water supply.

Yes .. try the alpro professional range, designed for hot drinks. I usually get some at heron foods.

At home its completely different depending on which type and/or milk I use. Alpro soya curdles where as Asda cheap long life soya doesn't. Asda and Alpro Oat milk doesn't curdle but Oatly does.... I've been told different milk reacts differently with various brands of coffee and tea due to the acidity levels.

I think thats down to water hardness but I'm intrigued to hear from someone if the teabags have made a difference to this.
