Any , I’ve got wired ( 1 meter cable ) to the main Apple mk6 one that shares wirelessly to the rest. That’s only because our virgin super hub won’t share wireless outside of the living room.

But any , they just scan for a wireless signal and latch on to it as long as the password is there.
Thanks for the reply do i need a ethernet cable between them or is it wireless?

You also need an Apple device to enable them. Simply plug into a wall socket the airport device , then on the back of the airport is a pin hole reset to push 10 secs till orange light blinks like mad ( best of 2nd hand doing this ). Then go on your Apple device , go to settings - WiFi and at the bottom will say airport ABCD1223 etc click on it and follow the on screen setting , select extend , type the BT hubs password in and 30 seconds will say done and that’s it.

BT Mobile don't offer WiFi-calling yet, which is a a huge shame. I have EE with the WiFi-calling, and it makes a huge difference. I've tried turning it off and my reception constantly drops at home, not EE's fault, just poor reception. But WiFi-calling would make BT Mobile a no-brainer.

How can bad reception not be EEs fault? Is it yours or mine?
They have 800MHz and wifi calling they can use to fill in the gaps too.
How is this not hot? Effectively 20GB for under a tenner p/m! Is there a deal out there that’s better?!?!

I have one ac lite in the middle floor in a 3 storey home, with well insulated floors between each floor, I have no issues with wireless.

Do these have to be plugged into the network via ethernet as well?

P.s. the house is about 7x7meters

Also one ac pro covers my whole house.

Spec does not match Whole home hence why I didn't mention. The AC Pro is 3x3 mimo AC1750 vs whole home 4x4 mimo AC2500. Like I said you get a lot more for your money than you would from one unifi unit. I live in a 7 bedroom house and find I only really need the 2 discs but didn't want to waste the third one. Might have been possible to use just the one but router is located in kitchen and that's where the master disc is don't have any sockets left in centre of house to place it.

Have this set up in a 5 bedroom house, with one in office (downstairs) and one on landing (upstairs). In bedroom, used to get ~20MB/s, now getting ~200MB/s. This is the max plan speed, so seems like it works! There is coverage in the whole house.

You get a 2 month grace period where you still get the £5 off after cancelling BT Broadband. Alternatively you can cancel your phone and pay off the contract at the £5 discount price.

I opted to pay off the last 3 months rather than stick as there was a limited time to get the cheaper deal from the new provider.
The EE preloaded 24GB sim lasts 12 months and costs £49.95. So 2GB a month for £4.16. And no contract. Better value?
turnes out they only gave me 1 month free. i must have misunderstood

Yes, it creates a new network. I have disabled the wireless radios on my HomeHub; however, you could just leave it running as a 'guest' network or as a backup like above. Just be sure to give them different names (SSIDs) and passwords.

I have the original router's network running as a back up, and then use the whole home as another network.

I connect the laptop, streaming devices, phone, iPad etc to wholehome as the preferred network but if it's playing up I can check whether it's the connection by using the netgear router network.
Usually if there's a problem it's due to my crappy phone line.
The advice is that you connect this to one of the network ports on the back of your current wireless router and use these discs for your WiFi, it recommends that once connected, you disable the WiFi from your old router to avoid wireless congestion with the new system.

It's a shame it's so expensive but the thing is that it actually works and it gets wifi to the previously dead spots in the house.

I could do with another disk but tbh can't afford another at the moment.

Fantastic piece of technology that actually does what it says.

As the others have said voucher not working here either, gutted!
This is a blast from the past! I remember setting up an original Fon and Fontenna for a friend with DD-WRT, so he could get all the free WiFi or Open WiFi in his area as he couldn't get a phone line. Hot from me.
Same here, code not working and was gonna purchase one at that price :-(
Definitely not working - tried again today with no joy - upper or lower case.
