A resourceful one. I think to clarify for those who think people are being a bit bah humbug about this deal, when I was pregnant you got six weeks maternity pay. After that you went back to work. I bought a second hand pram and borrowed a cot because that way I could afford to be off work longer with my baby. Things are a bit more civilised now

psychobitchfromhell

We used the cot that my mum bought second hand from the paper for his eldest cousin. Passed it on to younger cousins after that. For all I know it is still going strong somewhere.

guttediam

Lol, mum RULES ;)

psychobitchfromhell

Kid might disagree but I'm the only mum he has so he can lump it

Received the standard Bugaboo black footmuff from JL yesterday. Did take a couple of emails and a phone call to sort. Thank you very much to scw1668!!

Smiffy121

yes they did they sent me a universal footmuff as they confirmed with bugaboo it will fit can’t complain really they let me pick the colour too

Lucem

John Lewis removed the link when they realized there was a error saying a footmuff was included. If you send them the link which was valid when you bought the pushchair they will either refund you £94.95 (the price of the standard Bugaboo footmuff) or send you a footmuff to this value. You do not need the high performance one as the standard one is universal and fits all Bugaboo pushchairs (including the Buffalo). I’m using one on mine and it’s really nice!

smayor

The link no longer shows that the footmuff was included. They have updated the description. There is screenshots of the old description above so send them that if you need. They tried to fob alot of people off so be persistent you should get the standard footmuff as a minimum.

mackey24680

How did you get on with JL did they accept the screen shot?

Amazing deal. Well found

chadders06

This is a cracking price. We have just bought the Bugaboo Donkey chassis for over £800. The full pram cost £1300. Just cause it's expensive doesn't mean this isn't a great deal. This pram suits twins and can take a toddler and baby at same time. My wife and I have reviewed all the options as we are expecting twins and we think this is the best solution. If you need it and can afford it this deal is fantastic.

jmcason

I visited the Stratford store this afternoon. It seems the deep-discounted stock is no longer available. Only a few push-chairs (mostly Silver cross) with minor discount and a few "extra" parts remaining.

You can hardly compare a bugaboo with a vennici- it's like comparing a ford with a BMW

jdbigguy

If you want this model then not one of the above comments have anything to with this being a deal. A possible 4.2% from Topcashback

ascen

which vennici model did you go for?

deleted402533

800 quid for a pram - hahaha

talksalot81

My comment here is that more money does not always get you more or better quality. We looked at everything from budget through exotic and could often see little more than the name different. We went with a vennici system which has done everything and has the big pneumatic wheels and suspension which typically demands silly money. It cost in the region of 500.

I'd always go for an icandy in this price range. The bugaboo's skinny little wheels tend to get stuck a lot!

MinerWilly

looks the exact same as the Mothercare Expedior one I got for £200 which also came with a car seat too. I'd rather save the £670 and have a nice holiday ! Guess if you've got the money to burn and are materialistic and worried about what others think of you then hell why not.

MrsDens

Not functional? I've got the buffalo, used it for 2 children and still is brilliant, even an easy push over sand. It is a lot of money but has been totally worth it. My 3 year old still fits so I think I've had my money's worth

By far one of the best pushchairs around and I've owned a few it's light yet sturdy easy to manoeuvre folds quickly and easily fits into even the smallest car boots and most importantly looks good as new even after 4 years use.

Kubush2109

Absolutely adore my Bugaboo. I have the donkey and it's fantastic! So light and easy to steer and push, even uphill. I have only the one baby (for now!) but for me the Donkey was the perfect choice. In mono mode is the same width as a normal single pram except I have an additional side shopping basket and it also extends for another child either different ages (I.e. newborn and toddler) or Twins. And as every part can be replaced your not left with a chassis that is useless for baby number 2 or 3. The covers can be changed at will but are not cheap especially the special editions like the Andy Warhol prints but they are worth it because they are simply fab! yours thankfully, a very Happy New mummy pushing a bugaboo proudly.

I really want this but am Banned after I got my way with the stokke xplory :)

Ok price for anyone that must have one new. Buy the frame for £250 on ebay (Bugaboo's last for years so it'll barely be worked in). And then buy new covers and accessories. Darn site cheaper than £600, and no-one will know the difference.

good price for the bugaboo we had a stokke 6yrs ago you cannot beat them

Kkirgirl

Cant speak for others, but i just really fancied the Bee as well - i use both my prams, the Cam is the better all rounder imho and if i could only have one i would have that... but the Bee is funky too and its nice to have a change. Also, the Bee is a bit smaller so ideal if the boot is gonna be filled up with shopping or if we are going on Holiday

ro53ben

Hmmm, not seeing any major wins there over the iCandy. Why do so many Cam owners also have a Bee? Do they both have weaknesses such that you need to buy both to suit all occasions.

Kkirgirl

The Cam is really light weight for such a big system, it comes with carry cot AND seat (normally you have to purchase the carry cot separately) Its incredibly easy to push, even one handed. The handle flips which is really handy in show/woodlands and also at restaurants so baby can sit in the pram upto the table... If you live in an area with bad snow, the Cam is specially designed for this with its big wheels that move over snow easily. The break isnt as easy to use as a foot break, but its no big deal... after a month or two it loosens and is much easier to put on/off The seat is considerably larger than most other prams meaning it will last your baby longer. You can change the fabrics to suit your mood or to freshen your pram up (i have 3 sets) I could go on and on... I love my Cam for all of the above reasons, i have never regretted buying it, or spending the money on it :-D The Bee breaks have been sorted now - all new Bee's are fixed and previous customers got the brackets necessary to fix the problem, in-fact, i got two sets lol

ro53ben

What's the big attraction to the Cameleon over other prams? We had a "money no object" choice when we bought ours, as it was a gift and went straight for the Cam but didn't like it. In particular we hated the braking mechanism. What am I missing? Why do people think it's so good? BTW - Bee owners/buyers should be aware of a potential safety issue with the Bee brakes. http://www.bugaboo.com/75

Kkirgirl

I have the Cam and honestly, its worth the money! My hubby was also taken back by the price but once we started using it he agreed it was well worth the money, has many fantastic features + you get all the bits with it AND a 2yr warrenty AND its an awesome, good looking, easy to use pram... I personally love my Cam more than the Bee but they are in different price brackets and do different things... I think i paid £670 for the Cam, footmuff, maxi cosi car seat, adaptors and car seat raincover (didnt want this but was in package) oh and a parasol for the pram too. Bargain price for all of the above. It was 2yrs ago tho so not sure what deals are around now.
