easyBus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick Airport from £1.99

Easy bus transfer London to Stansted, Luton & Gatwick from £1.99 and operated by National Express (on National Express website same transfer is £10)
To be fair myself and my daughter used this service but operated by National Express in December.I was very hesitant as I'd nothing but bad reviews. But to their credit, on both legs, we were able to catch earlier buses as we were super early and hadno issues at all. You can catch the bus an hour either side of your scheduled time if there is room on the bus/coach. I just wanted to put another view out there as I hadn't read any positives

I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the …I believe it's different companies running it in different parts of the UK. I tried the Manchester one, which actually consisted of me giving them money to leave me stranded at the airport. Cost me a fortune to get home and I've never even received an apology, let alone a refund.

Had the same thing in Paris, never again!
We booked easybus last year. They failed to mention to us (and the 20 other people waiting at Waterloo for a 5am bus) that it wasn't stopping there for 2 weeks (even though the ticket stated the stop). Taxi to the airport wasn't cheap. No contact possible except through post to request a refund. Awful.
Some London drop-offs are served by Airport Bus Express instead. Booked trips directly with National Express for £8 return the other day for Liverpool St- Stansted at the end of April, roughly same times are £14 return with EasyBus. Used to use EasyBus but went off them when it was a pain in the arse trying to find out where the buses left from when they changed from using the Stansted coach park.
Left us stranded, repwas no help, contact numbers were no use and emails weren’t responded to. We payed a lot more than £1.99 too. Once we were home and called to complain they were just as bad. Not worth the stress, not worth risking missed flights.

Thanks OP
works for me
I want to make max use of this, spending only £1.50 on bus.

I knew with the old hopper fare, the longest distance you could travel was by taking the X26 bus (Heathrow to West Croydon) plus another connecting bus (which I think was to Central London).

Has any savvy HotUKDealers managed to work out wok the longest distance you can travel with unlimited £1.50 hopper fare?

I read a Which? review recently for a Hisense washing machine: it was cheap but the review said something like 'fails to do what you bought it for, ie wash your clothes'! Interestingly, when I needed a new washer just before Christmas I also looked at reviews for Miele at over £1000: said they were the most reliable (by a small margin) but still not the best at getting clothes clean. Went for another Bosch in the end and hope it lasts 11 years like the previous one. Choose the right one (plus a bit of luck thrown in) and mid market can offer the best value over time. I could buy three of those Bosch machines for the price of the Miele.

I think it was the Hoover/ Hotpoint/ Zanussi/ Candy ones he was warning about, the £350-400 jobs. Bosch I think are a bit better than these.

I've had my Argos Haier one for 10 years and although the door sensor is a bit dodgy, it's still running (touch wood) and it was about £180.

Is it a reflection of their customer base?

I think Argos invite people to review their products via email, you can't just log in and leave a review, so I would take them with a pinch of salt. They've only invited me to review a product once. And do they even publish most of the bad reviews? It's not like Amazon's review system that's for sure.

In my experience most people are overfilling wm/wrong program if it ain’t washing clothes. That’s the basic of all machines which are designed to do such.

My Hotpoint - 40c wash for shirts uses most water, I use this for everything (except bedding, underwear and towels 60c) 80min 1400spin wash - much better than the minimal water 40c cottons wash that’s over 2 hour cycle and isn’t the best at washing due to the water saving feature that really is.

A £400 machine isn’t perfect either^, people really need to keep a copy of the programs near their wm.

Heat added but have to agree with previous comments. They have replaced the blue plastic with a white paper stick. Very good they have replaced them as obviously there are a load of incredibly dumb people in this world that cannot discard of them properly and the world cannot cope with that much plastic if they did anyway. However, I wish they would have come up with somthing slightly better than the paper option........but maybe there just isn't.
Maybe somebody needs to design one where you can keep the stick thing and replace the bud only! 😁
32816063-9BG0J.jpgToo many cotton buds are ending up in oceans. Other brands now have strong card bud stems, hopefully Johnson will improve theirs soon (without reverting back to plastic).
They're bendy and baggy now.. heat added though x
I complained to J&J about the new ones being so bendy & they replied that they did it 'cause dopey folks kept flushing the blue plastic ones down the toilet so they switched to white paper ones rendering them totally useless in my opinion.

I agree it isn't big but you're paying for the novelty value of the tin and the teddies. You may be interested to see what people pay on Ebay for empty novelty tins. Very collectable if you're into that sort of thing. I like them anyway and have ordered a few for family members.

Thanks for the review Bossworld, saved me the hassle. I'll stick with my plan for speakers/sub I think. Cheers OP all the same. Looks a good deal for a marginal upgrade to TV, bedroom perhaps..
It only defaults to Bluetooth if you unplug it rather than using standby to switch it off.
Picked mine up yesterday, no bass whatsoever but for £15 it'll do fine as a bluetooth speaker. Sorry techno12 I think your shortcoming with the product is my gain.
Just got one, but it's going straight back as for some reason it defaults to Bluetooth input (instead of Aux or Optical) which is useless as it means I'll have to faff with the remote to change inputs.

There doesn't seem to be a way to change the default input on it.

The whole point of a soundbar is to be seamless, and I don't want to be faffing with extra remotes.

I have a small round Bluetooth speaker that is even Lauder and better sound quality, yes it's not the cheap ones you find everywhere is one model quite rare to find, but it's a shame to have 2 speakers, Lees playing time and worse sound quality than a very small one.... Don't buy it if you want some decent quality audio go for something a bit more expensive that can pay back with what they have the best(my opinion go for a JBL,Sony,or anything that have some value on the market and history in good quality music)
I get its only £12 but the battery life is very poor and it won't be very loud either.
I didn't know he came from Argos! Wow!
Hope it's better than my last Bush speaker, as that was useless.
