I'm not going, but great for those who are. + heat
I think a govenment bonus is way more fitting than a clap and freebies???
Well you are doing a job which you trained for and are paid to do no matter if it's good time or bad ones. Don't try claiming you stay all these hours after working hours etc and are not paid for it that is not true I have plenty of family members in NHS and ones in different countries over the world involved in health care this country is very generous and strict with hours, breaks etc. Dying patients and dealing with family members is part of the job you don't like it move to different line of work so dumb what next a person who works on a checkout moaning about having to interact with customers. Never complain about your work you are doing it now. Total BS you would not do that job for 0 a complete lie otherwise why are you not working for a charity for free or giving away your salary. Some people in other countries may be true but not people in this country in asian countries nurses are working 16hr+ plus having to live in hospital throughout this
you can apply for a refund if you have already paid. I think there is an online form
you would be suprised at just how many of us nhs workers do extra hours for nothing.Your remarks are nothing short of rude, lets hope you dont find out the hard way that some are heroes.Im looking after covid patients how about volunteering to work a shift on a covid ward if you think its easy
Personally "Hero worship" I also don't get or need. I'm not simply doing a job I get paid for. I'm not expected to work over my contracted hours. Stay long after my shift has ended because the patients were compromised and no staff to relieve me so I could go home. I'm not expected to work in an environment where my life is literally at risk. I'm not expected to have an increased workload where care delivered could be compromised. Not have a break for 4 to 6 hrs (even on a 7.5 hr shift). Staff have pressure sores on the bridge of their noses from masks. Consistently hold a higher than usual number of hands as they die without family members or friends. Listening to relatives cries and pleading in the phones. Those calls don't stop. Never do I complain about my work. I would wake up up happy to go to work the pay didn't matter. Didn't matter that my own injury reduces my abilities. Yet here I am working. Can assure we are not simply doing a job we are paid to do. But thanks for the clarity of what is not a 'Hero'.
Already bought my pass 🙈
Another NHS gig live from midland bus service
Really! So only two people on a bus? Wouldn't it be better to run smaller vehicles and save grettas planet for when this is all over? But still a good service that I'm sure will help some people.
Heat added (y)
Fabulous they deserve more that free transport right now but it’s a good start carers and NHS are stars. I have carers that come to my house twice a week and there fabulous xxx
Good job. Would be £3.50 per day saved from my home to Mater return instead of all day ticket. (y)
This will be a great way to spread the virus
Great, so if they don’t get COVID-19 at work, they’ll get it on public transport!
Is Bullcrap Boris donating his bus?
I can barely fit an xc90 on my driveway
They are our real super heroes.. Got it from Facebook.. (highfive)
“On the national express, when your life is a mess, it’ll make you smile.”
I tired that code but wouldn't let me enter it,on ticket cheaper option
don't you have to pay more to enter codes into national express, I had student code from nus and when I select the ticket I clicked cheapest but it says can't enter code, why the normal option you can enter code but with code still works out more
The one and only time I did this they added 10% on! I kid you not. Personally won't be using this again. I hope others do benefit though
Unidays and Totum/NUS offer 15% off if you’re a current student, used to be 20% - but it seems you may be able to get 20% off if you have an ISIC.
Anyone know what attractions on the route are free (y) to get in? TIA
The worst places for stabbings after London is Birmingham, liverpool, Nottingham, Manchester, Blackpool . Lets not pretend this isn't an issue everywhere. Most folk who harp on about Piccadilly Gardens being a hole are them that only venture into the centre for a primark sale
Also if you go to Liverpool you can witness Britain's largest concentration of Shellsuited, Workshy, unintelligible thieves.
Open top bus tour of Manchester...In February, Can just imagine now If you look to your left you will see the Majestic gardens of Piccadilly And if you look to your right you will see the famous Big issue seller getting into their Bentley. :D
is there anything to see in manchester that warrants a tourist bus?
Day passes which you can use on any bus and multiple routes is £3 under 16. You may need a iGo card to prove age. Adults is £6.
Not sure, Ive not used it. Its a discount card for NHS, emergency services and armed service personnel.
What's "blue light" card?
What? Didn’t know this so thanks!! Is this online or booking on the day?
Rubbish , unreliable, used them last time to go to airport, the bus didn't turn up as shedulded nearly missed my flight.
And dont forget... If you have a 'blue light' card you can get National express anywhere to anywhere return for £18.
Is there w mobile app for easy bus?
Mu heart sank reading this deal. Paid the full price for 3 to Gatwick on Sunday. Great deal
Much less luggage allowance with Easybus than booking with national express I've seen people get refused and charged a lot extra. They are getting strict
Can you use coarchcards with these to reduce the price to 67p? Also, if you have Student Prime and pay using Apple Pay, you can reduce it by a further 10% reducing it to 60p if you can use those with the £1 journeys!
Voted hot for the extra info
It's cold because the title/description is poor and people don't look to see the deal, they just vote cold.
This is 2 weeks for the price of one, which is a very good deal. Unfortunately the OP didn't bother to make it clear and people vote cold as they do not know is 2 for 1.
What about other areas!!!!!!!
Well if it’s two weeks for the price of one...............
Nice one, cheers (y)
second code: FEB20
First Code: GOCOACH
+ £2.50 postage making it £11.25
I do not think Bill gates went out of his way to physically threaten, bully and assault rival companies, and he definitely never tried to undercut them in cost LOL, that's why Linux was so popular in the early days.
It makes it hard to avoid if this is a criteria for not using a supplier; Microsoft Shell BpAmazon Waterstones Top 8 supermarkets Your heat and light suppliers Etc etc etc Most have the main providers have created a market sector monopoly by destroying, buying, retiring those local and independent suppliers. It's hard to avoid.
Voted COLD, saw documentary many years ago on how they basically stole the market from all the independants, running free services until all the independants went bust and then charging.
I use these tickets often, they are great value. Hot from me.
NDREV20 From this thread : https://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/national-express-coach-travel-20-off-3376421 But it's expired now.
What was the discount code when using a Revolt card? I used it a couple of weeks ago but can't find it now in any threads. @proevo21
Hi yes i would be interested
I’d be interested, would actually be a huge help!
On the website: THE FREE TRAVEL OFFER IS NOW SOLD OUT!
It may be over now.. I can't buy it anymore too (it worked before)
Shame it wasn't during the Festival but that's never going to happen :) I was tempted to go on an Edinburgh shopping trip this weekend but the weather's freezing, sadly I don't have any more exciting reasons to visit. It does work though, just tried it. Get in before the seats all go!!
Whoop whoop two return tickets por nada, zilch, zeroooo. Paid over £30 return for peak travel by train during the week so great deal. Spot of shopping and pre-theatre dining. What's not to like? Thanks for sharing OP. (highfive)
Done this earlier to give us a little day trip at the weekend - definitely a great deal - can spend the money saved on a little lunch. Perfect deal for a family like us. Many thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated.
Look , trainline , sorry fat thumb.
Have a loom at traimline they also do national express coaches. I just booked liverpool to manchester for mid-feb at 7.40£ return for 2 ppl + £1 booking fee.
Anyone know if this would include a Luton Airport to Heathrow Airport Bus? Need to get to Heathrow on 14th January 2020. (For others seeing this post the Groupon Discount Voucher is valid for travel between 1 Nov 2019 - 31 Mar 2020. Must book by 29 Feb 2020).
Goes live today, cannot be used on already discounted tickets and can be used when buying smart card top up online.

Generic code expired now. Revolut have now changed it so a unique code is produced everytime you click from the Revolut app to National Express.
Code changed by revolut, post amended
Not working for me too, getting the message: "Voucher code 'NDREV20PC' has expired."
