Generally £2 a time max At the end of the season they can go under £1
Good deal. I bought the stove itself on Amazon last week for £13, picked up 4pk same brand cannisters in Asda for £8. By chance also saw the stove in Asda last night at £15 & they also had the cannister 4 pk at £8.
This price is ok I think. I paid £12 for the stove and £4 for 4 tins of gas last year.
I had this years ago. Useless thing that barely had enough room for a single breakfast and kept trying to fall over. I thought it looked cool at the time. Read the other comments and avoid.
This is bad info fella, maybe edit or delete.
I do agree, but there is something to be said for the neatness and convenience of the canister type. You absolutely have to pay for that though. The problem with the CV model partygrills is that you really are committed to the canisters - the best options have flexibility to go both ways - personally I have a Cadac Safari Chef 2 with regulators for both Calor and EN417 canisters, so I can be economical if using on site or have a lightweight option for beach/park/whatever use. For anyone wondering about economics, these Campingaz CV470 carts work out to about £11.50/kg, Coleman C500 carts as used by some other similar stoves are about £10/kg............ the larger Campingaz 907 (2.7kg) that many people use with their camping stoves are actually pretty rubbish at about £11/kg, while Calor or Flogas 4.5kg butane refills can be as cheap as £4.50/kg.
BAD INFO ALERT! Those Coleman 500s WILL NOT work for the Partygrill. You need Campingaz's own CV470 - it's a different fitting (Campingaz Easyclic vs EN417 screwfit). There IS NOT an easily available adapter. Your best bet is Wow Camping with a 4-pack at £17 (or 12 pack for £50) + £4 postage or Argos at £20 for 4 with free c&c if you have a convenient branch with stock. Also ebay options around the same price give or take a pound. Careful not to accidently get CV300 which are smaller.
Just a note to say there are two versions of the Party Grill 400. The difference is that the CV version in the OP will only take Gampingaz's proprietary Easyclic Cartridges, while the non-CV version has a more conventional pigtail connection for a hose and regulator, and hence can run on anything from Coleman 500 cartridges to larger Calor bottles or Campingaz 907. Both have their advantages - the CV is for sure a neater more straightforward solution, but the flexibility of the non-CV might be worthwhile, especially for regular campers who could realise the running-cost advantage of using a larger bottle (though payoff time would be long what with the OP being £20+ cheaper than the cheapest available example of the other one). Anyway, great little BBQ, the lid-as-wok feature is a brilliant idea, good alternative to the more expensive but otherwise very similar Cadac Safari Chef 2. Good price, hot.
This is a great deal, usually hovers around £90 and occasionally drops to £60. Absolute steal for this model, thanks (y)
I paid about £70 for this a month ago and took it camping with us (and will be again soon). Very easy to setup and works a treat. Actually something handy to use alongside a bbq or something when you have guests and want to cook a little extra outdoors.

More expensive... but worth a look. https://www.grasshopperleisure.co.uk/campingaz-400-st-double-burner--toaster-portable-camping-stove-2431-p.asp
I have one of these. top burners are ok, as others have said forget the gril,l it is almost useless
Don't expect much from the grill. (embarrassed) The burners are fine though. (y) However this price is about right for most camping stores
No. The knobs on the stove only allow a certain amount of gas out when turned up to max. You can't increase the flow of gas from the bottle or the regulator. You need to cook on a heat proof surface inside a tent for the hobs to work well. Any breeze either blows the flame out entirely or stops flames coming out of half the ring. It's impossible to cook with outdoors, in even a slight breeze. And the grill is rubbish, breeze or not
Don't you just have to just turn up the gas higher (on bottle and/or regulator) to make it more powerful? Just asking, never had one...
I have it for about 10 years. Don't think I paid that much for it, but it's good basic set. Have space in bag for gas cans as well.
I agree. Idk how much the rest is worth but I bought the same stove on offer for £7 from Halfords a year ago.
I bought this exact kit but with a slightly different backpack from Halfords ebay site for £3. The tupperware and pans are cheap but do the job. I do agree that it isn't worth £30
so you say buy it all separately, which costs what exactly? somewhere in the region of what this costs, right? so is this expensive, is it all expensive, or is it just about right? might as well just buy this and get it all in one go
Expensive for what its worth. Stove is £10. Go to asda / anywhere to get tupperware. Buy good quality pans etc.

Ok, thanks. That's not bad.

I've been waiting for good price for quite some time, but now can't convince myself it's a good buy. You can't take gas bottles on Eurotunnel, so you have to look for them on the other side and possibly pay extra, comparing to good price in promotion.
I have one of these and very impressed with myself as manage to fit it in the over of my campervan for efficient storage :) Works great for 1-2 people, 3-4 at a push.

Can these be used with a cadac carri chef via an adaptor? Anyone know which adaptor fits the top of the canister?
Go outdoors have 2 packs of 4 for £10 with your discount card. If that's any help to anyone.
Main difference between these and cheaper canisters are there is a proportion of propane in (isobutane) which means the pressure holds up better than pure butane as the temperature of the canister drops. I prefer these as they're a good mix (70:30) Campinggaz dont seem to make it known what they're mix is but Go Outdoors only advertise the go-gas as winter gas therefore I suspect the Go-Gas has more propane than Campinggaz https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/camping/cooking/cooking-fuel/

Just got back from a weekend camping trip where I used this for the first time. Did pasta, sausages, burgers, bacon, pancakes & numerous kettles of water for tea and have no complaints, great little cooker.
Shame the gas cannister from Amazon is overpriced compared to elsewhere. 'Heat' added though!
Used mine today on the beach. Great kit.
