Don't bother it's rubbish
Has anyone else got their order? I ordered on 30 January and there is still no sign of delivery. While a DPD tracking number was generated on 1 Feb, the DPD website said "We've received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel" as of 6th of Feburary!!! Arrrrgh. I begin worrying that Groupon might just cancel my order because the item was sold at a low price (the price is now up to £169!!)/
Last Friday (25th), so had the weekend in between, but pretty quick. Sent by DPD so excellent updates and delivery slot of an hour once it's processed and in their hands.
When did you place the order? I placed an order this morning and was wondering when will it will be shipped.
Mine arrived today. Very easy to assemble and use. Have already cleaned the living room carpet. It comes with a generous bottle of cleaner and also a 5 year warranty card. Cannot go wrong at this price and really pleased so far. Also pleased so many people have been able to get one at the reduced price too (y)
There is 5% cashback on topcashback too.
Are you having a lark about mate? Voted ice cold.
£58 on the website too
sold out now
Bought a couple, thanks op. :)
I find Stardrops does a good job.
Good find thanks! Agreed this is rarely on offer so will definitely be ordering!
never buy a cheap vax, i got one and it just wouldnt pick the water back up; sat in the corner for a few years before being thrown out.
Quick review. No problems with Studio Cash-on-Delivery. It's misnamed -- they haven't asked me for money yet. The item works in principle. You can hand-scrub harder but the Vax is great for picking up the liquid mess after. You'll probably still need a dehumidifier/summer and even then the carpet takes a few hours to dry. Ground in dirt needs you to go over it ~3x. As ever, you can't tell it's clean until it's dry. You could just keep washing it until the waste water comes through clear I suppose. This version is flawed. The suction funnel is almost impossible to clean and gets clogged up with fibres. If you don't clean it, they'll end up back on your carpet, making black marks. The Pro has a detachable funnel. The big buttons for on/flex'squirt feel a lot cheaper than a modern vacuum cleaner but you're not expected to use it as much. All carpet cleaners can use your own cleaning solutions which is vastly cheaper and great for different stains. Don't do this whilst you're still evaluating the machine. Mine has a leak so they're taking it back. Bottom line: if you can find the Pro ~£85, it's worth it.
They haven’t!! Got a dispatch email today!! Will check the cleaner once it arrives and see how we get on!
I wish you good luck, fingers crossed that they will respect your wish
Not had any response yet, certainly no email to confirm my cancellation!
Is this a better one?
I got it from AO Ebay a few weeks back with the 15 percent vouchwr. I think it is still listed at 199.00 which is still a good offer and I'd personally pay the extra.

Where from pls?
Anyone any experience of these ?

£82 at groupon with code BOXINGDAY
I guess they ran out. I hope people didn't abuse it to sell separately. I only got one set for personal use (y)
bissel have got the tool on its own for £12 + postage, but can't see much point to it as you could just put diluted oxy bleach in a spray bottle and use the regular tool to suck it up. https://www.4bissell.co.uk/deep-cleaners/power-brush-tool/product.pl?pid=1937308&path=606373
Would of purchased but shows currently unavailable
I'd order but I've got a Vax carpet cleaner, shame cos it's a brilliant deal.
Went with the 18v one over the 12v during black friday. Amazing bit of kit but as I said that was the higher voltage one.
Works well enough for the dust in the car. For OCD people like me, it's hot.
Had one of these for a while now, no they are not as good as a 240 v cleaner but running from the car battery they do a good job. You have to put a bit of effort going over an area but works well
Why save up? Use your savings? Derp derp derp springs to mind
Why save up get a loan or better use your savings
Thx OP ordered
Have the bissell big green for large areas, costco also have the rug doctor blue lile the rental for a decent price
Got this. Cleans really well. I'd say when doing sofas, rugs, car seats that it's even better than the ones you rent as it has the self powered (aggetating) brush. At a push could do your bedroom carpet if you didn't want to spend for the proper carpet machine but would take you a while... Not as long as you might think though due to the powered brush. Planning of doing mine with this. Paid more ~£150 and only got one bottle of solution.
No! Go and tidy your room! NOW!!!!
Top trump you sound like my parents!!!!!!! Can I not just spend £200??????? :)
The cheaper £90 model IdealWorld sells, has the same feature.Look at the little handheld brush peeking out at the top left of the picture below.
Thanks too trump underfloor heating will sort the dampness.
I understand they are probably never sold for £450 but I was looking at getting the lift off version and this seems to be the greatest reduction on price from rrp
Sorry to hear that :)
I bought a Vax. It is crap.
Sometimes it is.....sometimes you need the active enzymes in this to destroy the source of the odour. Works well on not just pet mess, perfect for spilt milk and vomit especially in cars!
Sometimes it cheaper and better to go back to basics https://www.rd.com/home/cleaning-organizing/5-best-baking-soda-and-vinegar-cleaning-solutions/
Eveything is what it is......
i generally do not bother when it comes to stuff like this.i mean it is what it is. (strong)
Don't read the one star reviews...
Oh dear -static brushbar :( . About as much use as a chocolate fireguard . :S . Don't members ever read reviews before posting dross ? Pay a little extra and get a rotating brushbar / s model .
Thank you n15hu :)
Do the shake and Vax and put the freshness back. Super clean suction. Thank you Zany. <3 8)
The reviews are 88% favourable on ebay. (y) Always a good idea to check and research before buying such items. Thanks for your input it will help others deciding to buy or not. Edit: on the plus side it is nearly £30.00 cheaper with this deal than on Amazon.
Cheap enough but is it good enough? Over 30% 1 Star reviews on Amazon.
does it have any screws, or is it all tongue in groove?
So, it's a carpet muncher?
What's the water capacity like on these compared to the rentals? It looks smaller. Last time I had the rental, I kept having to empty/refill it every few minutes. A right PITA but did a splendid job.
Gave me a headache too when I saw the price! Heated though as you say cheapest price I can find, think i.ll just hire one though, Sympathise with your headache!
If anyone's looking for the model rogparki recommended above (thank you again!), it has since sold out on both appliancesdirect.co.uk and amazon (£104.99). The one mentioned above in Studio doesn't have the stair attachment. I found the model with the attachment at freenetelectrical.co.uk for £91.98, next day shipping included. I had never heard of freeNet but after a bit of searching they seemed decent, so I took a chance and ordered. My order arrived yesterday, used it today. I'm pleased. Worth checking them out if you're hunting for a carpet washer with rotating brushes and a stair tool. https://www.freenetelectrical.co.uk/vax-w86-dp-r-dual-power-reach-carpet-cleaner/
These are truly pointless. Go on ebay and buy a refurbished higher end model. Or if you only want to do upholstery, stairs and car then buy a normal wet and dry "shop" vac from Screwfix. Buy carpet cleaning fluid and a suitable brush and bucket. Hand clean the area you want to clean. Buy a carpet cleaning nozzle off ebay for £16.99, this one works well and fits my shop vac. These static brushes are rubbish in fact a good vacuum cleaner will probably clean your carpets better than this, I used one which did nothing except get the carpet wet, go for the one with the rotating brush, I use the Bissell powerwash cleaner which have very good results. Occasionly sellers have new stock at half price on eBay.
Agree you need the brushes we got the dual v advance total home, refurbished off ebay 3 years ago fantastic leaves the carpets dry with max extract
I'd have to agree with all of the above. We have a Vax Dual Power Pro (spinning and rotating brushes) and its great, i'd definitely recommend. Before that we had the one in the OP and it was rubbish. The static brush makes it really difficult to push on long pile carpet and it doesn't really do much scrubbing anyway.
