Looks like a drawing lol
Bargain corner is in store only. It’s store specific
You’ve got to have good luck!
Bargain corner is hit and miss and different at every store
Ahh didn’t realise this was a bargain corner deal before voting! Bargain Corner desks are store specific and either damaged, bits missing, returned, refurbished or ex demo. Can def find some good deals but this def won’t be in all stores, and even if you find one it might be a different price.
How many were left ?
Picked one of these up to put the cycle tools in. Seems good for the price, thanks OP
Thanks OP, reserved one.. (by independently searching tool chest on Argos website via Google!) Running out of space in the garage..
If were in black, I’d seriously consider it for pc parts / tools
Very poor quality product, they are cheap for a reason :)
I bought a set of these a few years ago second hand for a spare room. My tip would be to buy wood clue and use it at every possible location and to buy loads of those plastic jointing blocks and screw them to every piece of wood that touches another. You may get a few years out of it that way. Out of the box and built as instructed they won't last long at all.
Ikea have a 10% summer sale starting this Thursday if it helps someone.
When does the code expires
I found them easy to assemble and for the past 2 days they're holding up great! 8)
I have but it takes a bit of hammering to the top lip to open it out a bit
9% off a £50 voucher on zeek so you'd save a further £4.50
Halfords pricing is like roulette... A pure gamble. I just got £20 refund due to a price drop 2 days after I bought something.
Yup I paid £34 a few months back
Trade card prices updated.
Seen a few of these lately. Do people really have so many ball bearings that they need a storage cabinet for them?
If ordering to the door yes I’ve ordered some tools on my trade card and it’s being delivered by DPD so no worries. if collecting in store but paying online you’ll be fine. If collecting in store and paying in store they’ll want you to sign and check the signature against the one on the trade card so wouldn’t work.
Had mine for several years, although I got top and bottom for £100 as it was ex display. Would recommend this over the professional range, the industrial has a much better finish quality. Heat added
"Was £450" Are halfords having a laugh? Is this made from adamantine? (poo) Decent deal at £165. Heat!
Fyi, they do not have a lifetime warranty. The tools do, but it's 12 months for the storage.
Yeah just seen they've updated the website again. The other two were full price this morning.
£100 with trade card. Hahaha...... There are further reductions on the other tool chests too.
I managed to get 6 of these from the Peckham store, Old Kent Road. Also allowing card payment for Cricklewood. Cost around 3.50 each. I'll query the pennies. Good luck & cheers OP
Looks like its automatically taking off the promotion for the buy 4 for £15, charging £3.75 each instead of £2.80
Subtotal 2.80 total cost 3.75? Why is this? But strange
Same error unavailable moved to saved items B&q just never works for me
£3.75 each on checkout
Ordered the final bits required for the Professional 3 part. Thanks OP!
Don't be too disheartened. last time they popped up I bagged an orange roller cab and top box. Both came damaged as it apppears they've used a thinner guage steel which dents easier and (as the 2 I had delevered both suffered) are prone to creasing when in transit, like they'd been dropped The top of the top box, next to the join at the front corners both had a crease in them, staff tried telling me that its manufactured that way, but obviously thats b.s. Resulted in customer services refunding me £30 odd so not a total loss for me.
Tried to order a three drawer tool box and it won't let you, unless you choose a store with stock miles away to collect from. They continually replace stock on these tool boxes, so this sale/deal is a non event. A previous deal on here via their ebay site for a first aid kit for £1 they took the money. confirmed the order, then next day sent sn email they had made a mistake and had no stock. No body buys their stuff at mrrp, but lately their deala and failing to have it stock is harming their reputation.
Nevermind. I went in store, picked one up and got it for £20
And again. There's at least one in store next to mine yet you can't order for click and collect
As. It says it's designed for diy enthusiasts. Probably not the best choice for day to day use but if you're thinking of storing your tools in some sort of organized manner it does the job well. I just got one and put the spanners and screwdrivers in it. I didn't even know I had so many kicking about I didn't know were there. For £20 I can't complain at all.
The quality of this so called professional range is nowhere near what it used to be (I'm going back at least 15 years now) and this is reflected in the price. The build quality is poor. Not everything aligns like it should, the metal is very thin and flimsy and really you need the drawers on bearings. If it's a cheap toolbox you want that you won't be using on a weekly basis then it'll do the job and it's good for the price.
I had a poke at these in the shop and have to agree. Really disappointed with the quality of these. The cantilever tool box is brilliant though...
shows stock in Skegness, Maidenhead and Yeovil for those that might be interested
Lifetime guarantee so who cares if it thin and crap lol
Came today, fitted on wall in garage, just the job.
Personally I use these things for organizing things like cables, flash drives etc in the home. Nice to see one with different size drawers. Better doing that than chucking them all together in a drawer. Saying that, it's probably better to get a box with various compartments instead for this purpose.
Thanks, ordered for my garage. (highfive)
Worth visiting your local maplin for shop fittings - i picked up 2 treston 500 series 48 drawer cabinets (previously used for electronic componnents) for £15 each in the Worthing store. Top quality kit. They were also selling them with some contents starting at c.£20.
Looks like it might be good for little collectable model's
They will even take a hand written business card....
Unfutunatly looks loke the code its not going through.
thats a really good idea! looks well good! im gonna do the same, thanks for sharing!
Got a reservation for 2, at Hendon if anyone needs
Surely chilwell and the others in Nottingham(Aspley) are closer?
Came here just for the knob jokes
I need a knob
I am revamping the kitchen and asked the missus what she though of these knobs and she answered my by saying .............. "They look a bit small I prefer yours" (shock) Normally it is me whom say theses type of remarks to her when she least expects it.Today I was never thinking in that vein whatsoever ...so it was quite a shock when she said that... after we had a real good laugh about it. On a side note...I think this is a great price for these knobs ...But the missus was a bit unsure and said we will have to see what decor we go with then decide on the knobs or handles. Heat from me for the price and making me and the missus have a good laugh. (lol) Best Regards,
Did you polish it, or does it come with other people in the factory polishing it
Picked up 2 sets yesterday - as knobs go, these are great. The feel of the knob in your hand is perfect, you feel this knob will give you years of service. It will definitely stand a few good hard tugs. What i really like is that its shiny ... you cant beat a shiny knob.
I’m too sexy for Milano.
Ty . Heat added (y) (y)
Thank you and heat added, just looking to buy another one and hey presto!
unless you are going to get a whole set with this look its not worth it, just going to end up with loads of mismatched furniture.
Which has the Ikea Family members discount on at the moment at the Cardiff store if that helps anyone... £37.50 reduced from £50.
IKEA Malm imitation. Probably not as good quality or as easy to build.
Ikea do a similar 4 draw model for £60 all year round
