HI thanks for sharing your first deal @Ross_Tobz unfortunately this has expired now :)
Showing at £12 now :(
Definitely, I think the cold voters are forgetting how expensive Lindt chocolate is 😁
Actually, it's not a bad price considering 200g boxes of Lindt Lindor are £3.50 to £5, and larger 337g boxes are £6 to £7.50ish. (y) . Heat from me, OP! I saw this Advent @ £10 in a shop but box was damaged so left it ...... and then forgot to go back and check for more (embarrassed)
I bet you loads of people are panic buying them today, I did it last year by mistake... never again! Absolute nightmare it was to find one
Absolutely agree there, you have to consider more than one aspect of an offer on here, l really don't know why the industry historically puts such mean weights inside these Advents, it does spoil the gifting pleasure for parents and kids alike!
I don't disagree about the special display opportunities of advent calendars. I was merely pointing the weight out as it is still a helpful metric (y)
Eamer wrote: If you want them to have less, don't buy one. So they should miss out on having one because the poster wants their child to have less? I’m starting to think you’re just a troll. For the sake of £5 a year buy your child a decent Kinder calendar, don’t be a tight wod, they’ll remember it when it comes to putting you in a home! (Reposting cause the snowflake got offended and reported me to get the comment deleted)
The more realistic comparison with Advents ... are 'Advents v Avents' weights, it's not with non-Advents offerings, because these are obviously seasonal specials, and the presentation is even more important than the usually meagre content weight!!
It can’t be delivered until 7/12 😞 I really wanted one of these!
You don't read detail too well!(text in brackets?)
Are you suggesting everyone can walk to a Poundland?
As there's usually a Poundland store in most shopping centres, therefore most handy ... why be so smug ordering on the net, probably costing some resources, and not just pop-in a store? Unless of course, you get a thrill ordering one item for the novelty value!(exceptions are folk who can't get out easily and plainly understandable)
Why not post that deal ? :/
Galaxy Chocolate Advent Calendar 2020 So are these a year out of date then? (confused)
Ah bless him! ... l hope he enjoys his Xmas, as best as he can.
Thanks ordered will help my autistc son know when Christmas is as he asks me everyday we also have the book advent to go with it
No problem. I know it's not a massive saving but I've really struggled this year to find these in the shops. Doesn't seem to be any stock anywhere even of the standard chocolate advent calendars.. I find this is a much better solution for young kids who like my kids they can't eat dairy
Both of these offerings are good value compared to most Advent's!(particularly the nicer Santa one)
Seems to be listed as "Exclusive to Asda" https://groceries.asda.com/product/christmas-advent-calendars/cadbury-white-chocolate-advent-calendar/1000236571400 so seems unlikely to be seen in Tesco or to drop below the current £1.50 price (at least not until after 1 December).
Has anyone seen the Cadbury white chocolate one for £1 anywhere? It wasn’t included in Tesco’s deal last week :/
It may not be £10 worth of chocolate but if you have children then it's great, no matter their age (and mine is 22). Christmas if about giving. Not about how much something is or what it's worth in heat on HUKD. For me it's hot.
Mine was originally scheduled for 17th and is due for delivery today!
My delivery has been brought forward to 9th November. And it's now saying they'll have more stock on the 17th which knowing amazon will probably be brought forward again.
This link has a video showing the advent calendar in more detail if it helps anyone: https://www.cadburygiftsdirect.co.uk/cadbury-dairy-2d-milk-freddo-advent-calendar.html
Yummy thanks 😋
Has any 1 seen these rubbish in my opinion the piece on front just comes off it a piece of cardboard
You can't see how the pieces are housed from the frontal image can you? ... strangely, even the link doesn't display the rear aspect! With most Advents the pieces are unwrapped behind the respective day covers, l suspect the 102g they quote is for actual chocolate, but you could be right suggesting they are wrapped(who knows?) ... lf wrapped, the reduced weight would be almost the same probably!
Seriously though, this is an excellent Advent Calendar for the money! ... most are wildly over-priced, with a 50g or similar weight, but this is worth it on chocolate alone, then the presentation is lovely too!(buy them now while you can)
Kids will find it jolly enough!(must admit l can't see what's wrong with it myself?)
Santa Claus is just trying to keep his choc intact
