Noticed it's back on sale at GMG and you can get up to 4.2% cashback via TCB too. Not a bad deal for an incredible game. I've sank many hours into the base game alone but the DLCs … Read more

Xbox getting keyboard and mouse support soon. The developer must/should enable that for this game

Great game. Every council planning department should be made to play this for at least a week. (ninja)

Good game. Works really well with a controller despite being something more adapted for keyboard and mouse. You can lose hours to this and it's fairly relaxing to play.

Question for PC users: has anyone overcome the issue where it slows down significantly when your city becomes too big? I got frustrated with having to start again as soon as my city grew large as it slows down to a crawl? Will a more powerful PC fix this? Or is it just an issue with the game?

I had a subscriptions since the first Humble monthly bundle and I'm glad I canceled it before December. The games are getting older and including loot boxes is a new low in my opinion.

And if you half-like it? ;)

If you're on a multi-month subscription and don't like the look of the early reveals you can pause it and skip a month:

wow - glad I never got last months, the unlocks were truly dire. Is this the first monthly to go cold?

It's still 8+ games for around a tenner.

Thanks. Been playing this on Xbox One but would much rather play it on my PC which I now can.

I thought this really sucked - they didn't even bother to include a tutorial, the graphics are poor and it doesn't seem any different to any other city building games.

paid £16 for this on release on a HDUK tip, not played it but by all accounts this is a great game. need to find time to play this.

Great game but the publisher dlc policy is a joke. Can't wait for the lampost dlc followed by bushes and trees dlc.

This is available as part of the Origin Access subscription for those interested in this and more value.

I definitely think so. Especially when you consider mods. There is a great deal of content for not much money. It's just a nice game to play.

Hopefully they release a complete collection at some point, that said what's the game like? worth picking up or just waiting for a complete edition?

Personally, I believe Park Life, After Dark and Mass Transit add the most. Snowfall and Green Cities are still fun. I can't comment on Natural Disasters as I don't have it!

Looks like a good price. Anyone know which DLCs are the best / add the most value to the game?

Great game now got even cheaper. It's standard edition but it still has lots of hours of fun. Next cheapest is £5.99 CDkeys and it's still £22.99 at Steam direct.

that must have been a deal of the year as game was released in 2015 :)

cdkeys, probably late 2016

no idea how/where you managed to get at that price couple years ago :)

MS Windows/Apple OSX and Linux/SteamOS operating system support.

I bought the game for £5 a couple years ago, quite weird it hasn't dropped below that after all that time.

Being a member of their rental service and having to use the website on a daily basis I can confirm that the website is absolute tosh Great rental service though (embarrassed)

I yelled at them a lot. Sent feedback a lot and tried to explain to them the site is rubbish but they are not able to do anything about it since they are mainly a rental site. But even if they were able to listen for a tad bit, they could create a separate site for their ex-rental sales and keep this antique for the rental part. But alas, they do not listen...

Yea the website is absolute garbage - I ended up abandoning my purchase and getting them on fleaBay instead :|

tried on a chromebook and a "normal" laptop, different browser, nothing... I managed to add it to my basket going through the "buy" section... then when I was about to confirm it, failed on the payment I had on my account, tried to update and got another blank page, then I decided to buy it with a new account but it was too late...oos ;(

Nice expansion to the game

Latest DLC (Parklife) currently £8.99 on CDKeys -

For the sake of playing it now and enjoying it, or saving an extra 75p? Up to you.

I am unsure, but this forum post seems to think it'll work as long as you don't use mods:

Can these DLC be added to existing Maps/Saves within the main game? Or do you have to build a city from Scratch ? I've only built 1 city in Cities Skylines; it's getting pretty big/map is nearly full and I don't want to have to start over :p It's great to customise so much & improve infrastructure/traffic etc.

The problem is, when the entire package gets cheap enough, there will be a successor and the chase starts again. See Civilization games for a good example of this.

The thing about them asking to register with the same email address as the paypal email address seems very suspicious (skeptical) . I've never ever seen that requirement on any kind of shop. I hope no one is registering to that site using the same password they use for the paypal account (:I

This is an awesome game. Hot!

Just bought this on g2a for about 6 quid. Incredible for that price, let alone sub 4. Just don't forget to sleep. Keep a clock near the computer or you run the risk of looking down at 7 in the evening then look up and it's daylight again. Dangerous stuff.

Gave it a shot, worth noting it went to 3.98 when converted to pounds on the homepage and went through at 4.15 on PayPal, still a steal.

I asked the same question on the last deal from this site. Seems pretty legit; if you read the trustpilot reviews and not the score on its own. People are not reading instructions correctly.

Ordered yesterday morning and received just now. Great service

Could have saved over 20% is I had bought it now, but bought it for £4.95 from Game Collection ;(
