All Cities Skylines Discounts, Offers and Sale - September 2018
that must have been a deal of the year as game was released in 2015 :)
cdkeys, probably late 2016
no idea how/where you managed to get at that price couple years ago :)
MS Windows/Apple OSX and Linux/SteamOS operating system support.
I bought the game for £5 a couple years ago, quite weird it hasn't dropped below that after all that time.
This looks really fun, thanks :)
Everybodys golf so fun! Heat
Being a member of their rental service and having to use the website on a daily basis I can confirm that the website is absolute tosh Great rental service though (embarrassed)
I yelled at them a lot. Sent feedback a lot and tried to explain to them the site is rubbish but they are not able to do anything about it since they are mainly a rental site. But even if they were able to listen for a tad bit, they could create a separate site for their ex-rental sales and keep this antique for the rental part. But alas, they do not listen...
Yea the website is absolute garbage - I ended up abandoning my purchase and getting them on fleaBay instead :|
tried on a chromebook and a "normal" laptop, different browser, nothing... I managed to add it to my basket going through the "buy" section... then when I was about to confirm it, failed on the payment I had on my account, tried to update and got another blank page, then I decided to buy it with a new account but it was too late...oos ;(
Great game! Have fun building :)
Great game if you take the time to learn it (y)
Just for kicks, you can get 1% Quidco, too!
Latest DLC (Parklife) currently £8.99 on CDKeys - https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cities-skylines-pc-parklife-dlc-899-cdkeyscom-2967779
For the sake of playing it now and enjoying it, or saving an extra 75p? Up to you.
I am unsure, but this forum post seems to think it'll work as long as you don't use mods: https://steamcommunity.com/app/255710/discussions/0/1473095965306331367/
Can these DLC be added to existing Maps/Saves within the main game? Or do you have to build a city from Scratch ? I've only built 1 city in Cities Skylines; it's getting pretty big/map is nearly full and I don't want to have to start over :p It's great to customise so much & improve infrastructure/traffic etc.
The problem is, when the entire package gets cheap enough, there will be a successor and the chase starts again. See Civilization games for a good example of this.
If you're able to change your location to Turkey, then you pay in Turkish Lira, which I use for this & Deezer, saves a fortune at the moment! :D
Trying to download these games on 500kb/s download speed
It’s my favourite multiplayer/online game, I think ever
Its there fault Almost all of mine PC games are Humble Bundle, Amazon and CDKeys
FTP Borderlands 2! If anyone hasn’t played this, do it now... if you don’t enjoy it, you have no sense of humour!
That would make a good t-shirt slogon.
It's pretty good. I completed it. Worth your time.
@davejtapp2000 you need to add to the basket to get the discount.
Back up to £20 :(
You can get it even cheaper than that from third-parties, this is a good saving for PS4 though.
Cold, six quid on PC, you could buy a PC with the saving
The thing about them asking to register with the same email address as the paypal email address seems very suspicious (skeptical) . I've never ever seen that requirement on any kind of shop. I hope no one is registering to that site using the same password they use for the paypal account (:I
This is an awesome game. Hot!
Just bought this on g2a for about 6 quid. Incredible for that price, let alone sub 4. Just don't forget to sleep. Keep a clock near the computer or you run the risk of looking down at 7 in the evening then look up and it's daylight again. Dangerous stuff.
Gave it a shot, worth noting it went to 3.98 when converted to pounds on the homepage and went through at 4.15 on PayPal, still a steal.
I asked the same question on the last deal from this site. Seems pretty legit; if you read the trustpilot reviews and not the score on its own. People are not reading instructions correctly.
Ordered yesterday morning and received just now. Great service
Could have saved over 20% is I had bought it now, but bought it for £4.95 from Game Collection ;(
Homefront is North Korea invades the U.S isn't it?.
Xcom 2 for a tenner, better price than xbox sale.
Thanks OP. Was considering buying this but as I already have game pass I’ll hang on a few more weeks
Regardless of whether it is a deal or not, that's not the reason you gave. You whittered on about release dates rather than debating whether it was a deal or not.
Get this on PC five 🌟!!! Lots of mods etc...
Fellow user from PPE I see ;)
Same. Got excited. Quickly replaced with disappointment ;(
Yeah I've Been Waiting for This To Drop But Seems To Hold It's Price Well
Tempting. Good price (y) thou I feel like it would be best owning it digitally as it’s one of those games I will dip in and out of. I find myself wishing for more key sales these days.
Pretty much every day for me...
Nope no pay to play, this is the full version and you can create as many huge cities as you like and play as long as you like
No, sorry I didn’t explain myself well - the version that I referenced already has downloadable content included, so you don’t have to pay extra for it at a later date - if you’d like it.
What is DLC? Does it mean that I have to pay during play?
Please press plus, pleasing poster post's poster
Sooo many hours lost to this
Well reviewed: Cities: Skylines Metacritic: 85% (60 critics, 8.9 from 1478 users), Steam: Very Positive 91% (36338 reviews)
Is this still broken on Mac? I was about to buy it during the last Steam sale but found lots of comments saying it had recently started to perform terribly on Macs
Always nice to trial games I'm on the fence about, the idea of a free weekend is always being stretched I see. :-)
You might want to check to see how the game performs on the same or similar specs, there's typically plenty of videos of such. From what I've heard, the game runs pretty smooth on the lowest settings on Intel HD graphics. The Steam version also has tons of user-made mods and assets that you can download (but of course on a Macbook, too many would become an issue). The PS4 version however would run much better for sure in this case anyway, though costs 4x more.
Sounds like I’d best go for the PS4 version. Thanks
It may be possible to run it on the lowest possible settings, though another issue is that the bigger the city, the bigger the performance hit.
Great price and really want to play this. £20 for PS4 version or will my few years old mac book pro run it?
29p not 79p... my bad (lol) that was a good day
That's because a website messed up and was free if you added a Hearthstone card for 79p to the checkout, 5 per paypal account (lol) Fantastic game though, not sure i'd pay £20 but 10-15'd be about right
I'm glad you've kept abreast of the Sim City genre while on hard times. I'm sure you will be a benevolent creator once you get your hands on the tool kits to create your utopia and eradicate poverty in your city.
I recommend doing this. I have been living in a cardboard box for a few years now, just waiting for the house market to crash so I can pick one up.
This'll be like half a game without Steam Workshop. Is there an equivalent on PS4?
Got this on PS4, do not be put off. Works smoothly once you know the buttons
I know what you mean. Your focus point is locked to the middles of the screen, no mouse movement etc. Worth a quick look on Youtube to get the idea.
oh wow really? it seems like it shouldnt work :) Though they are good devs and I expect some nice optimisation :)
It actually works really well on the PS4. I own it on PC and really enjoyed the Steam Link + Steam controller support so ended up buying it on the PS4 for the wife. Doesn't take much to get very fluent with the controller.
its only on PC isnt it? I mean how does this even work on a console? KB+M?
Yep, another vote for a great Xbox version - not exactly inundated with city building games on consoles and I love this one.
Pretty decent game. Played it on the free weekends and loved it!
Have it on PS4 and PC, much more simplified on console and obviously lacks the mods available but it's still decent and there's nothing else available like it.
One of the most pointless game demos I've played as you spend ages building a city only to realise that your infrastructure cant cope and you have to delete and start all over!!!........ yet I bloody loved it!!! (y)
Great game, it’ll keep you entertained for hours on end. Already got 90 hours playtime on the Xbox 😯 Great value at this price, heat 🔥
