This game is awesome. Got me through my two week gnarly bout of COVID. Solving traffic growth issues is really hard and realistic.
Didn’t get the time to play it for free but took advantage of the special offer price on the bundle. Great game.
I love the idea of this game, i'd love to build and run a city and from what I understand the latest Sim city game is very limited and now quite old, however I played this on free to play previously and just found it confusing and boring.
It is still pretty good
The vanilla game is very basic without the ~30 DLC packs.
Loving the “filthy xeno neighbours” part. I know just the type. Not picking up their rubbish from overfilled wheelie bins, empty bottles of alcohol all over their lawn, dog mess on the pavement. About time I moved away from my mother I think. (y)
One slight difference for those that like to up their gamerscore is you can generally get achievements from playing through Free Play Days but the trials rarely allow that.
"Free play days" aka "Free time limited trial". Hate marketing speak.
Also note Stellaris is 70p at humble bundle on PC at the minute. Tempted to give it a try on Xbox!
I'd definitely recommend Stellaris to anyone who is a fan of grand strategy. It can be a bit intimidating, but once you wrap your head around the various systems it creates some really fun sci fi narratives as your galactic empire forms alliances and rivalries with your filthy xeno neighbours. Heat, thanks for the heads up!

Cities: Skylines Steam Key GLOBAL - £2.18 via A-Z Game Shop/Eneba using Code£2.18Eneba Deals
Great game but absolutely stupid amount of dlc. 3 or 4 add a lot to the game and are worth buying (after dark, snowfall etc) but some of these should of been included with the base game and feel as if they withheld them from release just to make more cash and a lot that are just more music and not worth buying (unless you are into music that sounds as if it was produced on a spectrum 48k.....)
The epic store versiona are a terrible way to aquire games which need dlc even if the base title is free. List price per pack is usually more than Steam, more so once you get bundle stack discounts and sales. Still claimed it though even though I play it on steam
Grab me a copy please. Obviously I cannot go with you due to lockdown (y)
Yeah that too. I actually claimed it even though I already owned the Steam version, don't know why.
Before that it would require somehow to go back to Last Christmas if you didn't claim it then :)
Its a fantastic time sink. Worth checking out some fb or reddit groups too as the building community is fantastic for mods and support. Easily the best City builder ever imo
As much as I love Cities Skylines, the amount of DLC is just absolutely disgusting and is what ultimately made me stop playing it. If it was reasonably priced, say a full price of 50-60 quid and you get all the DLC, it would be a different story, but it's a whole lot more than that. I know their excuse is that you can pick and choose only the stuff you are interested in, but even if you never use certain options, having them there makes the entire game more engaging. TL;DR: Amazing core game, disgusting pricing model.
I just looked at my time played... let just say it was a few months more than I was expecting.... 😃 like most of the best games you start to play then after what you think is a couple of hours you realise it’s been 10!
It's a great game, although without any DLC the game is very basic and you soon start looking at buying more. Luckily the next epic free game pulled me away before I fell into the cycle! XD
My key was for PC - Steam. They refused to supply a replacement key or refund despite contacting them a couple of times. Hoping I can get my money back via PayPal.
Don’t worry, sorry to hear that, hope you get sorted soon.
No worries, glad you got it sorted. Sorry for my attitude yesteray was in a bad mood. Water and Electric has gone off in my aprtments so they have put us all in hotels. I don;t like been out of my comfort zone
Thanks RP, it has worked for me now but damage was already done as I posted bad reviews for them all over. The solution or option should come from CDkeys that code can be redeemed via Microsoft website. What a waste of time and moaning child that he couldn’t play fifa21 on day of the launch.

Yeah looks great. I literally spend hours though just sorting one area out it's taking all my time up!!
Thanks for your help guys. I'll try it when I get a chance. This deal made me realise what a bargain the humble bundle was. Did anyone see this interactive 3d immersion mod? https://www.pcgamesn.com/cities-skylines/mod-walk-drive
In your Steam Library, right click the game, select 'Properties...' Go to the DLC tab and deselect the ones you dont want to use. I don't know Cities Skylines well enough to know if you can leave them all installed and disable them from in game, I know some let you do that.
Very succinct! Cheers.
You just get a radio station with the plus edition so not worth it.
