Also to add, I averaged 45mpg over 6500 miles in the diesel. Official figures are 92mpg I think?

90% inner London driving however
Had the 1.6 diesel for 2 years on lease at £150pm with £900 initial. Pretty good motor definitely recommend if efficiency is your thing and you like the looks. Seats have no lumbar support so get yourself some from eBay 😜

OK to split hairs just looked through my app that goes with the car and a recent one for me was 72mpg (miles per gallon) and that was for 30 miles. But I know I have had better but cannot find it and some have even had better than 80mpg

I just called and got Catherine Macmullan there, She is looking after this deal, asked them to up the mileage to what I needed they still came out about £40 a month less than any other offer I could find also I checked the delivery mileage question turns out its the finance provider which determines if the delivery is part of the deal or the contract starts from delivered miles , so its different for different deals .... on these vans she said this finance provider allows for delivery mileage up to 150 miles, then it comes off allowance. but the excess is small (mines 3.87 pence per mile over...)so even if you did over shoot the damage will be minimal She did say though there are only 50 so its first come first served once they are gone thats it back u to standard prices.
I'll look like postman pat driving that.

A word of warning about them though. They will deliver the vehicle by driving it to you from whatever dealer they use. I'd dispute that all the way to court. Your agreement is for your use, not theirs!

Is that for a purchase? And not a lease. Any links?
Peugeot has passport scheme on their cars with similar offers . Unless you are single don't buy 3 door car otherwise you will get pain in your backside.
Often picked up for £64-80/mth and sometimes with more miles allowance. Colder from me
Had this car before on lease(now have the new C3 on lease from Citroen Portsmouth actually) great little car, amazing in town, had the Feel trim and I would highly recommend it,even went to France last year for a wedding in Paris, my lease was for 2 years with 8k miles and when I handed it back it had 1500 miles more than allowed which came at around £30 something(don't remember exactly) also at the final inspection the company that collected the car had to do a report in which few scratches on the paint and alloys were mentioned,on their report an estimated of £200 in 'damages' but Citroen Finance waived, very happy
All in all highly recommend the car 🚗,Citroen Finance and not last Citroen Portsmouth who gave me an amazing deal on my new C3
OP, you could probably have sold it better in title and description. I'm not familiar with this car really but it looks to be of decent spec and at this price it is a saving compared to what Citroen are quoting on their website, which is 10.7k.

Cheap little run around(again, with decent spec) for someone for a hundred quid a month and 8k overall.

Maybe I am wrong and this is far cheaper elsewhere but I can't see it so good effort anyway.

The voting on here is not exactly consistent, nor is it usually accurate as to whether something is a good or bad deal.

Have had a quick look and it can be had from a few companies for a similar price (within £30) in total although with a three month deposit. So if anyone has a specific issue with VFB, they can choose another.

Why not just buy a £3-4k used car on finance? Same monthly cost but at the end of it you've got a car. Look after it and you could get a decent chunk of your money back.

The concept you need to learn about to understand this is called depreciation.

Also consider that some people don't want the uncertainty & hassle of running an older car (repairs, MOTs).

Some people even buy brand new cars, and when you consider this, decent leasing deals look much more financially savvy.

nothing - apart from excluisive use of a brand new car for 2 years with no no road tax, negligible maintenance and no depreciation. - Pay £4k for a used car, plus £1000 on finance interest plus maintenance and road tax costs, part ex it after 2 years and find that it's worth £1500 - wheres the other £4000 gone ? Citroen C1 Hatchback 1.2 PureTech Flair 5dr Personal contract hire £32.39 incl VAT monthly rentals £1200.00 incl VAT initial rental Personal contract hire Contract term : 14 month… Read more
FYA I posted the other deal for the 18 months lease for this car with TFS Leasing which got a lot of heat. However, I took this deal to Citroen Dealer themselves and they price matched this and agreed to buy my current car, which covered the cost of the deposit. I got a 24 month 10k per annum £120 per month lease for a Citroen C1 PureTech 82 manual 5-door Flair (with only 1 service needed at my own cost) for the same price as the standard version of the C1. It was a great deal and even TFS Leasing said it was great and they were unable to match this. I also understand that the Flair model is the better model which has a reversing camera, better interior and alloys etc...

It's worth talking about this to your local Citroen dealer.

Edited: I should also add that this includes 2 weeks of insurance for free when I pick up my car next week. Also no deposit or admin fees at all as I am trading in my current car

The test that says that they are competent enough to go on the road on their own? I have encountered many drivers of 'a more mature age' that are downright dangerous and need their licenses taken off them with immediate effect.Just my opinion obviously...

Rubbish. Just the same as a university graduate. You learn once you finish and you also do mistakes, which obviously increase the risk. Been there myself.

Insurance should be doubled for under 25s so as to reduce premiums for us … Insurance should be doubled for under 25s so as to reduce premiums for us more experienced, safer older drivers

And how exactly did you end up being an older, safer and more experienced driver? I think older drivers forget that they were once young and new drivers who were trying to gain more experience on the roads... How are younger drivers supposed to gain that experience if non of them are able to actually get insured in the first place? Not all of us are terrible drivers
