How are you searching /finding /filtering for these? Great deals, always on a look out for cheap replacement parts I know amazon throws out loads of stuff mental cheap.

Eurocarparts seem to use their own product codes so not much use....most parts manufacturers have their own e catalogues online now, probably a better bet to get the correct parts.

Anyone know of a Grand C4 Picasso on offer? Must be auto for the wife to drive.

On the mileage, can I go over 10k in the first year as long as it is under 20k when I give it back?

Agreed re diy but it doesn’t have to be a dealer. We had one fitted by an independent to our vw with no issue. Most dealers don’t fit them anyway, they sub it out to a local specialist.

I did check that to see if the Peugeot or Toyota were cheaper. They were substatially dearer.

Nothing. But I'd take nearly any other brand over a French one. They are cheap for the wrong reason.

It’s French and what’s British there to compare with?

It’s ok your mums here to help with my gear stick operation. She said the problem was a stiff stick

Bear in mind the quoted survey results do mention in the intro that (whilst the reported "problems" are weighted according to severity/inconvenience), a lot of the problems stem from ever-evolving in car technologies (including issues like bluetooth connectivity or secondary electronic problems) so appearing at in the bottom half of the table doesn't necessarily mean the vehicle is going to break down. The Mini we had on lease had one "problem" when we had it (so would fall into the problem statistics) but it had absolutely zero impact on it's use (I can't even remember exactly what it was, but it just meant they had it for 15 minutes longer at service time to do a software patch). As someone pointed out, you have VW/Audi and Seat/Skoda at opposing ends (despite the fact that many of the mechanical components are going to be the same), and you also have Citroen and Peugeot in both camps when they definitely share masses of parts - I'm genuinely curious as to whether this is related to fussiness of owners, brand specific parts failing (ie trim or bodywork) or whatever else that causes such a big difference?

Sadly not funny as its manual But it is funny you can't drop a gear to drive an 82BHP car up a hill Do you find many family cars a challenge to drive? Is your test soon? :D :D :D

Yes i know. If its suits you my ds engine which is the same 1.2 has the same output...

No because i do not drive:/ :/ :/ if i knew would i be asking this question

Because when you get to a narrow gap (one near me springs to mind that I drive down every day, country lane that narrows significantly at one point) and you meet another car coming the other way, very useful for those few seconds to save a £200 broken mirror bill !!

Why on earth would you want to fold the wing mirrors in whilst driving!!

Of course you still have to pay for it!!!! Have you heard of insurance and gap insurance??

Also to add, I averaged 45mpg over 6500 miles in the diesel. Official figures are 92mpg I think? 90% inner London driving however

Had the 1.6 diesel for 2 years on lease at £150pm with £900 initial. Pretty good motor definitely recommend if efficiency is your thing and you like the looks. Seats have no lumbar support so get yourself some from eBay 😜

OK to split hairs just looked through my app that goes with the car and a recent one for me was 72mpg (miles per gallon) and that was for 30 miles. But I know I have had better but cannot find it and some have even had better than 80mpg

80mpg? I'm sorry but even a modern Diesel would struggle to get anywhere that economy. Maybe you meant 80 MPH

I just called and got Catherine Macmullan there, She is looking after this deal, asked them to up the mileage to what I needed they still came out about £40 a month less than any other offer I could find also I checked the delivery mileage question turns out its the finance provider which determines if the delivery is part of the deal or the contract starts from delivered miles , so its different for different deals .... on these vans she said this finance provider allows for delivery mileage up to 150 miles, then it comes off allowance. but the excess is small (mines 3.87 pence per mile over...)so even if you did over shoot the damage will be minimal She did say though there are only 50 so its first come first served once they are gone thats it back u to standard prices. (party)

I'll look like postman pat driving that.

I'd dispute that all the way to court. Your agreement is for your use, not theirs!

I've currently have a Skoda Yeti from Fleetprices. It took over 6 months to arrive but I don't think that was their fault. A word of warning about them though. They will deliver the vehicle by driving it to you from whatever dealer they use. The mileage used in the delivery to you is part of your 8,000 miles allowance! Mine came from Wales and had 200 miles on it and they are insistent that I now only have 7,800 to use before incurring extra mileage charges!

For a small business which doesn’t travel about all day but goes to a single place of business and sits for most of the day and does occasional deliveries and maybe cash and carry type runs 10k would be enough. Using it as white van man you are right.

Is that for a purchase? And not a lease. Any links?

Peugeot has passport scheme on their cars with similar offers . Unless you are single don't buy 3 door car otherwise you will get pain in your backside.

Often picked up for £64-80/mth and sometimes with more miles allowance. Colder from me

Had this car before on lease(now have the new C3 on lease from Citroen Portsmouth actually) great little car, amazing in town, had the Feel trim and I would highly recommend it,even went to France last year for a wedding in Paris, my lease was for 2 years with 8k miles and when I handed it back it had 1500 miles more than allowed which came at around £30 something(don't remember exactly) also at the final inspection the company that collected the car had to do a report in which few scratches on the paint and alloys were mentioned,on their report an estimated of £200 in 'damages' but Citroen Finance waived, very happy All in all highly recommend the car 🚗,Citroen Finance and not last Citroen Portsmouth who gave me an amazing deal on my new C3

OP, you could probably have sold it better in title and description. I'm not familiar with this car really but it looks to be of decent spec and at this price it is a saving compared to what Citroen are quoting on their website, which is 10.7k. Cheap little run around(again, with decent spec) for someone for a hundred quid a month and 8k overall. Maybe I am wrong and this is far cheaper elsewhere but I can't see it so good effort anyway. The voting on here is not exactly consistent, nor is it usually accurate as to whether something is a good or bad deal.

Not true, car needs to be serviced at 10,000 miles or within a year of when V4B first registered it!!! You’d have thought they’d pass on that little nugget…. Overall I wouldn’t use V4B again, but I would consider a longer lease term next time (I went with 1 year).

At one time only 20 year old cars used to run around with odd colour panels - now they sell them like it from new! Suppose it's the car equivalent of jeans with holes in them from new :)

Close enough - I live 10.1 miles from work and I get 5 weeks holiday a year! We use my wife's car for shopping and evening/weekend driving, so I do just under 5000 miles a year in my car. I do have to drive 2 miles to/from the garage to fill up every few weeks, but there are a few bank holidays that compensate for those extra miles!

Forgot to add - I got mine direct from Citroen lease after shopping on here. I had the 115 VTR+ Manual and believe it or not, it was actually more than fast enough. The engine was strong considering BHP?? Citroen will easily beat any online quote you get. Just show them the website and play hardball.

Not sure what those other deals were - different models i guess? Key thing for me is the mileage - any 7 seater with 20K miles is a lot more. I know most don't like leases and first glance it looks a lot for a citroen - but if you are looking for what i need then it might be an option for people

Agreed, I paid £186 a month for 10K miles with 3 months upfront 24 months ago. This seems expensive for the same car. Great car though I will add.

Fair comment, guess it's hard for French companies to shake off that perception of poor quality and reliability from days gone by unlike Skoda who really seem to have nailed it.

For £135? Where?! You've just described every small capacity diesel engine in existence.

I suggest you take one of each for a test drive. I had the old 90 bhp Poogeot engine. Yes, bottom end torque is good but 2 seconds later its run out of breath which can sometimes be a little disconcerting especially when you need it most, overtaking on a single carriageway. It was also noisy as Peugeot engines tend to be. If this has been a 1.6 petrol I would have gone for one and I am sorry you can't tell me anything about diesels as I have run nothing else for the last 15 years and soon to go back onto petrol thanks to the introduction of the manufacturers fail......dpf filters.

There actually look OK in black, one down the road from me and for £188pm it's a great deal

You get to keep some complimentary slippers, bath robe and few bottles of shampoo.

The concept you need to learn about to understand this is called depreciation. Also consider that some people don't want the uncertainty & hassle of running an older car (repairs, MOTs). Some people even buy brand new cars, and when you consider this, decent leasing deals look much more financially savvy.

nothing - apart from excluisive use of a brand new car for 2 years with no no road tax, negligible maintenance and no depreciation. - Pay £4k for a used car, plus £1000 on finance interest plus maintenance and road tax costs, part ex it after 2 years and find that it's worth £1500 - wheres the other £4000 gone ? If an asset appreciates, buy it, if it depreciates, lease it.

Just a comment to the naysayers (nice word that) have you actually been and had a look at one of these cars, I did yesterday and they're very good, loads of car for the money, sadly I can't afford one - unless a Citroen board member wants to thank me for my kind words !
