Full 3-piece Clutch Kit Suitable for Toyota Aygo / Citroen C1 / Peugeot 107 All 2005-2014 UK models (1.0 petrol)

I wish we can see more like that here especially if work is included. Servicing a car is crazy expensive! (and most independent mechanics clueless)

donny

Price has almost tripled on Amazon now !

donny

Part of the Bilstein group. Very good quality, comes with the specific grease and correct amount in the kit. £24.05 was a bargain

Fair enough if it was a decent car, I fully agree with you, but it's a little Aygo and not some sort of prestige car. For something like this, I'd actually prefer someone fitting it on the driveway. I can also guarantee you most garages won't torque any of the bolts to spec, go ask them.

I'm aware about the channel watched a couple of hours worth of content a couple of months ago. Already got a feeling about the level of specialism. I personally would never agree for my gearbox to be disassembled on the street with all the wind, dust, leaves moving around. Have you seen how he handles re-installing the transfer box with one hand. Forget about correct positioning of the gaskets, torque according to specifications, etc. Just because it can be done, it doesn't mean it should! If people are willing to accept this, fair enough #standards-of-life

Aye, not great when your first deal goes cold. Personally looks like a good deal to me, unless someone can show how this can be leased or purchased for much less I cant see how its such a bad deal. I'm not a fan of the 48 months but it can be changed to 36 months for an extra £5 a month. 8k miles too, not the standard 5k. I'm sure I've seen far worse lease deals get heat here.

Jason

Hey @Gato_gateau Thanks for posting your first deal on hotukdeals!

Whitey2048

I will correct myself here. From looking in to it a bit further it would appear that only cars purchased directly from them online come with the 5 year warranty so doubt that this would be included. The attached article is from March 2021 and I cant find anything to say they offer 5 years as standard anywhere.

Whitey2048

You are correct, I've just checked. 5 year warranty on citreons now. Although I also checked the deal and its only an extra fiver a month to lease over 3 years instead of 4. Spec very basic though by the looks of it.

chevpot

Leasing is just covering the depreciation in the vehicle.

First post (go easy). Decent spec for the rental, in stock (pre-reg). Just ordered one and told 3 week delivery!
MrCable

We've gone with this - slight descrepancy between their specs and the list specs for a Flair Plus; hoping the Brochure list for Flair Plus is what they'll be providing! (Sunroof, reversing Camera, etc). Pretty sure these things are NOT 'not' availabile with a 'Flair Plus'. Fingers Crossed! Heat added!

pablo_el_diablo you deleted your message from last night stating the dealer did the MOT IN 6 minutes both times... could it be put on youtube as well please that would put the icing on the cake.. :)

Joshmegane

You go for it buddy. Unacceptable.

pablo_el_diablo

I have just sent a lengthy email to the board of directors, will see what they say :)

Joshmegane

Well done you Pablo. I am appalled at their response. Mistakes happen in all walks of life but once made or found out in your case, companies or people should admit it, confess and rectify it. To try and defend the inexcusable is not acceptable. I for one will not buy a Citroën because of your experiences. Thank you for being brave enough to not only challenge them but also to expose them.

ali.hd: A naive question from a beginner: Will you automatically own the car after two years? Otherwise, how much extra you have to pay to own the car once the leasing is over? Well yes because the car that I bought was 7400 and ended paying 8000 and that was a old car 🚗. Weell not that old second hand car of 2018 seat ibiza.

Dlz001

These are lease deals so you pay for the time you’ve got it. In most cases, much less than it loses in value making it a worthy investment. You don’t have the option to buy it at the end. It simply gets returned.

Dlz001

I find most like that between 11pm and 6am

Where could I found new cars but cheaper and also of course when you finish paying you can keep it? :/

Your better off with the 1.2 puretech with 110bhp. The 82bhp is okay for the C1.

g-diddy

No pre-registered ones left. Looks like they've sold out.

Welcome to the world that is HDUK car threads

Prosper_o

I second that, the suspension feels like a fiat 500, very clunky to drive.

jdcampbell

This has to take the biscuit as the most pointless discussion thread I've ever come across, dominated as it is by debate about somebody deciding whether a car suits his needs on the basis of whether the dog can hang out of the back window and a pedantic discussion of the precise meaning of new versus secondhand versus pre-reg.

I guess probably less miles (less price) probably would have made it atleast warm.

spaceghost

I’ve been looking at potentially leasing one of these and I thought this seemed a reasonable, if not amazing price considering it is the top of the range Flair Plus and is an auto. Surprised it’s gone so cold. Are there better deals around for this car? Or any alternatives in its class that people could recommend? Thanks
