Probably the most random thing I've ever seen posted
I own an Aygo and even I think this is niche (embarrassed)

There is such a rule. But it's for radial & cross-ply tyres, and if you can find a cross-ply tyre for a car these days, you win a coconut! 😁😁😁😁😁 Similar type tyres are ok, but a winter tyre & summer tyre on the same axle would be doob. If what you said was true for all, then you'd need an entirely new set of tyres each time you replaced one when the manufacturer came out with a new version of the tyre.
I bought the car for £500 these tyres are now 20% of its value (lol)
all weather tyres now I need only long life oil :D
Isn't it something of a rule not to mix tyre tread patterns or brands, especially not if between 2 fronts or 2 rears? OK to get you home but you left the tyre on?
Thanks for the post, used the code to order Kumho Ecsta for my car. Was waiting for an email from Blackcircles but never received one.

Like the EU killed off the 2CV comment. Nothing to do with the economics of hand built versus robots then! Bloody EU killing off our cars! Err.... their cars I mean.
thanks
Yep. The only foible was that you had to kick most of the passengers out when going uphill.
That was a great car to own, so easy to maintain even for a car noob like me, and so cheap to repair it almost lasted forever so sad the EU killed it off, even though it would have been easy to make a sustainable low CO2 car on that size of chassis, there was no profit in them. So we ended up with manufacturers switching to huge 4x4's and billions spent on engine research to make them comply - what a joke Europe is. It's the same story with tiny cars now, all of them are on the way out
Is that Brum?

I wish we can see more like that here especially if work is included. Servicing a car is crazy expensive! (and most independent mechanics clueless)
Price has almost tripled on Amazon now !
Part of the Bilstein group. Very good quality, comes with the specific grease and correct amount in the kit. £24.05 was a bargain
Fair enough if it was a decent car, I fully agree with you, but it's a little Aygo and not some sort of prestige car. For something like this, I'd actually prefer someone fitting it on the driveway. I can also guarantee you most garages won't torque any of the bolts to spec, go ask them.
I'm aware about the channel watched a couple of hours worth of content a couple of months ago. Already got a feeling about the level of specialism. I personally would never agree for my gearbox to be disassembled on the street with all the wind, dust, leaves moving around. Have you seen how he handles re-installing the transfer box with one hand. Forget about correct positioning of the gaskets, torque according to specifications, etc. Just because it can be done, it doesn't mean it should! If people are willing to accept this, fair enough #standards-of-life

Your better off with the 1.2 puretech with 110bhp. The 82bhp is okay for the C1.
No pre-registered ones left. Looks like they've sold out.
Welcome to the world that is HDUK car threads
I second that, the suspension feels like a fiat 500, very clunky to drive.
This has to take the biscuit as the most pointless discussion thread I've ever come across, dominated as it is by debate about somebody deciding whether a car suits his needs on the basis of whether the dog can hang out of the back window and a pedantic discussion of the precise meaning of new versus secondhand versus pre-reg.

still available and still working fine in my Peugeot 107
and another aygo,c1,107 tip... if your heater fan isn't working on 1 or 2 you can use a thermal resisiter from a vectra.... less than half the price new of a 2nd hand aygo one, just need to trim a bit of plastic ;) bit naff having to remove all the dash but do-able in under a couple of hours :)
Excellent find... now need to get myself a 107 to go with it (highfive)
Never seen a carbon pollen filter on here before. Heat given for originality.
Correct, I think it's only the models with a/c that have them. PS bit of a random post tbh

Heard bad reviews about vista Pro wipers
Good price for 26". Shame I bought one a couple of weeks ago. Thanks anyway.
Yeah comes up with a different blade. Never mind. Cheers
First Generation. go to the web site and input your registration number to find out :)
What year c1 is this for as I'm sure our 2017 is a different fitting compared to this wiper.

Is that for the 110 model like this one? Most of the C3 Aircross models available at that price seemed to be the 82
None available at this price
A cactus will have sharper handling... I'll get my coat.
Thanks ordered two
This or cactus?

Hate using manual box. Autos are awesome.
Volvo had a go at one in 2012 the Volvo V60 D6 Plug-in hybrid diesel. "But Volvo has set its sights higher than producing a welly-wearing eco-special. The new model is a high-priced range-topper that pairs its rear axle-mounted 69bhp electric motor with the butch 212bhp 2.4-litre five-cylinder diesel engine already established in the range."
You should have got a dashboard with no warning lights, schoolboy error there and you had 5 goes at it too!
Thanks, I will have a look/
Peugeot original 3008, Citroen ds5, benz eclass 300, Volvo v60, Audi Q7 all hybrid diesel

Its a wheelbarrow though
72hp? Ouch
And waste your pension fund instead XD
The road tax was reworked 2 years ago, so cars produced since then fall into that.
Why has the cheap road tax gone. Thought it £0.00 for this car

Sorry, what doesn’t happen? Withdrawing from finance is a legal right and it absolutely happens.
If you drive in London , roads are so congested , it is a chore and very frustrating activity. Also cameras with man sitting behind taking photos. Just for simple errors there is £65 fine . Half the time the fines are not even correct but it takes so much time and effort to challenge.
Stay away from German cars and turbo cars and you’ll be fine
Agreed, but Pretty sure you can pick up a decent old car for 500 even.
In the real world this doesnt happen.

This deal is more or less no existent anymore, spent 4 hours at Evans Halshaw Banbury, the offer is still on the website but what they came up with was astonishing. Initially said they could only get hold of the lower but only the higher spec variant. Then Quoted 29k. When we said that was far off the mark with what we saw on the website they started offering a new one for almost 20k A lot better but still not near the price that we were willing to pay (and imagine we wouldn't be bothered about the price!!!) ... In the end they finally admitted that there were still 2 models with the lower level spec in the country for under 16k. Nicely enough already with (more expensive) metal colours but still deliver mileage at 19 pre reg. Took one of these 2 in the end. The space in the car is astonishing but I was even more impressed with the Berlingo for space! If anyone looks for 5 or even 7 seater car with abundance of space, the Berlingo should be considered... And I am saying that despite still driving my 3rd Sharan...
As did I, and haven't had to spend a penny other than tyres and servicing - three faultless MOT's. I don't think any car is immune, sadly everyone's experience is going to differ for so many variables.
Yes, get a PCP deal with all the dealer contributions and then pay it all off within the 14 day grace period.
can you buy it without finance??(cash buy)
Haha. I can relate!

Bought one last year similar spec from Evans Halshaw wife loves it.
Has anyone bought this car from here? i am thinking of buying this. Can I buy it without finance?
Oh didnt even realise most of those were even a thing. Saying that the car I had before my cactus didnt have a single driver aid on it and I still survived! Guess they are all nice to have but not really crucial.
It doesn't have adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition and GPS speed limit control. You can get those on Ford cars and the Focus has just about all of those as standard, even the Fiesta has many of them. I don't have a Ford myself but in comparison this has the most basic driver aids, they would have been great spec 10 years ago but things have moved on. Once you've used adaptive cruise control you won't want to go back. Ford have brought all these to market, and started doing so 5+ years ago, and added more driver aids as the tech became available, so latest Fords have most of what you require.
What kind of driving aids are you on about? This has all the standard ones, abs, traction control, stability control, cruise control and speed limiter. Also and option for auto parking.

Well, which lease company did you use!??
You can get GAP independently for £100 over 3 years on a car of this price point through the likes of GAPdirect, but I usually go through the dealers to help the salesman penetration rates. £200 difference over 2 years; I can live with it!
What "gap" did the gap insurance cover / need to cover in these circumstances? After 3 years I wouldn't expect much of a difference in the value of the car vs. amount owing on PCP. I would expect it to be less than the £300 gap insurance.
With the c1 that was written off... It was my first car and my dad wouldn't even let sales man discuss gap insurance with me. I wouldve taken it. Dad saying waste of cash and it's all a con. And me being a new driver.... Him driving 30 years. Trusted him! I should not have. The other driver wrote my c1 off, JUST before the 3 year mark. I'd just had it's first MOT a few days prior. So when bought the Nissan note new. First thing I said was "no hard sell here for the gap insurance. I'll have that!". Sales man chuckled saying "someone's been burned in the past!". And then I wrote that car off myself... Just after it hit the 3 year mark. (fierce)
I wrote a car off driving into the back of a friend's car too.... At 20mph. A Nissan note 14 plate car. So much much larger than a c1. The car had only just turned 3 years old. You don't sound like you understand how things work with writing cars off?

It's 3 cylinder and that's the one you really want
Touring in the 50's, generally mid 40's with stop start city less
You might want to reconsider your driving position. Or perhaps the person who showed you how to use the touchscreen was messing about with you.... ;)
Couldn’t agree more. I sat in a Cactus and have sat in one of these - it was like going back in time. So cheap, the dash, seats, interior, everything you touch is awful. Buy a premium used car than a duff new one, the warranty is not worth having to put up with these cars....
How was this ever over 20k ?

We got one as a basic short hop car. Very basic but fun. Good mpg. Agree with you. Would get another one
I've owned three of these from new and do about 18k miles a year , current one has 64k on the clock. basic transport. easy to park, 50mpg when thrashed. keeps running. whats not to like?
Decent deal. Heat
Say no more. Base something on 2000 people?? You having a laugh... (lol) Nice try. We all have a sense of humor but your statement had everything but sense. (y)
OK. Forth most important thing, have no sense of humour and take obvious satire and hyperbole literally. All whilst maintaining an air of unearned superiority. Anyone with a few years under their belt driving will notice the same with BMW / Audi / white van drivers. Nothing to do with being a 'premium brand' lol. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/bmw-owners-drivers-inconsiderate-worst-road-survey-a8151111.htm

Was this deal taken away from me because of the Debenhams pricing error?
So glad i checked this thread before leaving for debenhams. Strange description says 1:10 and even in picture the boxed car says 1:10 on it. But got email saying 1:24 renault etc
Also received 1:24 on Saturday. Sending them all back. Total waste of time and money. Now need to go to PO to drop off.
Also received 1:24. What a royal waste of time.
wish i'd checked back to this thread today before dashing off to a packed trafford center to collect my order :( , i still hadnt noticed their error until the lady handed me over one small box ;( ,

Thanks, got a 3 piece clutch kit for my Lexus is250 for £52 instead of £300 - £400 8)
Automotive> Car Parts> Drive & Transmission> Clutches & PartFilter : Prime Only
How are you searching /finding /filtering for these? Great deals, always on a look out for cheap replacement parts I know amazon throws out loads of stuff mental cheap.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Print-ADM53146-clutch-disc/dp/B00B8VUFQY/ https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Print-ADT33127-clutch-disc/dp/B00B8VUR62/
Eurocarparts seem to use their own product codes so not much use....most parts manufacturers have their own e catalogues online now, probably a better bet to get the correct parts.

Is that for a purchase? And not a lease. Any links?
Peugeot has passport scheme on their cars with similar offers . Unless you are single don't buy 3 door car otherwise you will get pain in your backside.
Often picked up for £64-80/mth and sometimes with more miles allowance. Colder from me
Had this car before on lease(now have the new C3 on lease from Citroen Portsmouth actually) great little car, amazing in town, had the Feel trim and I would highly recommend it,even went to France last year for a wedding in Paris, my lease was for 2 years with 8k miles and when I handed it back it had 1500 miles more than allowed which came at around £30 something(don't remember exactly) also at the final inspection the company that collected the car had to do a report in which few scratches on the paint and alloys were mentioned,on their report an estimated of £200 in 'damages' but Citroen Finance waived, very happy All in all highly recommend the car 🚗,Citroen Finance and not last Citroen Portsmouth who gave me an amazing deal on my new C3
OP, you could probably have sold it better in title and description. I'm not familiar with this car really but it looks to be of decent spec and at this price it is a saving compared to what Citroen are quoting on their website, which is 10.7k. Cheap little run around(again, with decent spec) for someone for a hundred quid a month and 8k overall. Maybe I am wrong and this is far cheaper elsewhere but I can't see it so good effort anyway. The voting on here is not exactly consistent, nor is it usually accurate as to whether something is a good or bad deal.
Older Peugeots… 205, 106, 206, 306
Pug = Peugeot of old = no need to translate this
What does pugs of old mean? :D
We’ve got the e2008 and absolutely love it! Interior is amazing too. Very impressed compared to pugs of old!
And presumably a lot nicer to drive.
