Would this run on a n3450?
Finally going to bite on this! Love Civ 5. Anyone know if the Diplomacy etc. is any better than 5? That was one of the main things that annoyed me about 5.
All the base CIV games have been superb and far too addictive - I found all the off-shoots sub-par. CIV 6 is up there with the best of them. The game engine and balancing is better than in CIV 5. Also as there are more options and strategic choices to make, Ie a settler is no longer for ever just a few turns so there are important game influencing choices at each turn.

Bet you play 20p games from Cex

Nope, never stepped foot inside a Cex. I don't game like I used to. Only played Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Skyrim, Civ V and the Portal games in the last 7 years.

Right, just to clarify, it's new and, yes, I changed the title. BTW they didn't have Civ 5 so it couldn't have been mispriced.

I don't wear one.

Is this pre-owned, or new?

A pre owned PC game would be something new. Likely someone mistook it for Civ V or they want to clear stock.
Battenberg

That's how the game's name is spelled though?

There's something called an 'Edit Title' function. The poster changed it X) it was 'Sid Maier's'

Saw this today and had to get it at this price, it's the best price I have seen for physical copies of both games and of I didn't already own CIV 6 I would have picked it up too. … Read more
I'm sure it's a good game, shame I can't play it! Frame rate is way to bouncy and doesn't feel smooth last time I ever preorder a game!
Dishonoured 2 goty imo
Yeah most games nowadays still require a download, unless if they have like 10 DVDs in there. Not sure what the point of physical PC games is anymore aside from looking pretty on your shelf. Still, good price for dishonored 2.
Didn't even bother with the disk, just used the code

Funny how they only discount 19.99 tho and not 20.
dishonored 2 is much the same, it contains the amount of data on a dvd 4.7gb? Then the rest is download. So it only takes a chunk out of the download.

Down to £30.52 now.
Sub £30 in the sales would be better. Bring on the next patch in January.
Always enjoyed playing these games, shame they have a high price when they come out.. Pretty good deal though this.
Great game, changed the formula enough from Civ5 to keep things interesting. Not a revolution in the series, but has the potential to be the best iteration with expansions.

However, I would expect this to be a bit cheaper in winter/January sales
How is this hot
Poor game for an inflated price.

I received £40 from OPIA Limited this morning.. so 20% of £199.99 pre VAT amount.
Just had a payment of £40.83 from OPIA Limited into my account which must be something to do with this, unless someone else is giving me money.
Not sure how the maths works, think I paid £245 from ebuyer as Scan were oos, but looks like 20% off pre vat.
Looks like MSI are doing the 20% calculated on the ex vat price?! Based on what I've read on the Over lockers forum anyway
what's wrong with msi keep delaying the cashback?
Just spoke to MSI apparently I'm 'on the list' and will receive payment this week or early next week...........

Just came back in stock for the EU (incl UK) Steam code. Best price I can see from a decent supplier.
It's £33.99 now, thanks because I found it by searching and finding this thread.

I balked at £50, but to be honest this'll be the only fullish price game I buy until Fallout 5 or the next Civ game, so worth the money
Sorry but for me this game is still overpriced atm.
Strangely only the Global version appears when searching on the site which is £43.99. You have to use the above link to get to the cheaper price european version.
Fabulous, thanks very much. Just had my shiny new Alienware GTX1070 delivered so can't wait to see how Civ looks on it!

Personally, I'm finding it kinda awkward to adjust to - they've made odd little tweaks (some menus on the left side, others on the right, renaming units, taking away automation of workers, etc) that I'm not really liking, so I'm giving it a bit of a rest for a while. What are your thoughts?

I think it's much better than Civ 5 was at launch, but not as good as it ended up after the expansions, which is what I expected really (but am still disappointed).

It's definitely not got any drastic changes, but is enough to make me start sinking time into Civ again after putting 200+ hours into 5. I think I like the changes, there's more to think about, more ways to branch out and less micro-management, but then again, it might just be because I played 5 to death!

30 quid has been the average price on release for ages, bar EA and Activision. Meanwhile the transition from physical support to digital media is almost complete, thanks to steam. So how do you justify keeping the price that high? I have no problem paying this as a full time employee, but I am seriously questioning the pricing of most games and the rational behind it.
Price is now £27.54
Keep getting the message that the coupon code is not valid.

Anyone else getting that?

You can either buy the games legally or you can accept all this will die

I don't know how old you are, but I've probably been playing video games longer than you've been alive, and I have heard variations of that argument all my life. And in that time, I've watched my niche geek hobby turn into a multi billion dollar industry. The home computer game industry could shrink to 1/10th of its current size and it would still be a bigger market than it was when I started playing. The message you're giving was false then and it is false now.

I absolutely mean manufacturing cost, not the cost of development.
