I had a 2010 Citroen C1 it did have a very high bite point, whenever my dad took it for a drive i noticed he revved it loads. I think it just takes time to get used to it.
My daughter has a Peugeot 107 which is basically the same and her clutch has always been high and the clutch is about a year old as we have receipts but the previous owner said it was always like that so maybe yeah...
I had the older style C1 55 plate and the biting point was hardly non existent. You had to rev its b******s off to get it going, otherwise it'd stall. It used to wind me up how rough it sounded.
Citroens usually have high bite point (from my personal experience)
I know the earlier ones have a manual clutch adjustment under the bonnet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG2ad-ZhcjY

Hi guys..mine is doing the same... I have a BMW 1 series. 55 plate any ideas.. not had the car 12 months spent 1500 on it new turbo ect.. is it worth keeping and spending on it.??thanks in advance. Sharon.
I'm here (_;) Since the vibration is there all the time with the engine running, it is also possible that the dual mass flywheel may have failed. Most manufacturers supply the clutch assembly with the flywheel but I know some garages charge you for a main dealer flywheel, then charge extra for the clutch kit (they get it free!!).
I've done it on a petrol Ford before, rear gearbox mount perished then suddenly gave out. Was sort of like a spider web design (but not really like that at all, weak looking all the same). Don't know what style they use on frogmobiles though.
not THAT brother
Cold, 19p down my local.

HAHAHAHAH I litterally just got quoted "bout tree fiddy"
it's actually the thrust bearing, not the clutch (33K miles), however the clutch needs to come out to access the thrust bearing so I may as well change it at the same time, since it involves the same work and would only cost a little extra.
4 years and your clutch has gone, how many miles? There may be an issue with the clutch pedal operations device, it may need some additional work. Just phone round the independent garages near you and ask how much. I'd expect about £200-£250. My Focus need a new dual mass flywheel, a know issue and the clutch should be changed at the same time. It cost me £600 all in but thats £250 alone for a part you'll never need. Not to mention a KA is much simpler to work on. The main stealer wanted £1100 oO

well I got quoted around 400 quid from the ford garage, which is why I'm looking for somewhere else :(
