They seem to be out of stock now - but in case they come up again.... I got one for £15.99 - total bargain. I already have a Breville Fast Slow Pro that I bought for over £!50 18 months ago. This cooks just as well. It is missing a lot of features, but for simple saute and pressure cooking it does just fine. Downsides: * the timer is manual, doesn't ring (despite saying it does), and doesn't include time to get to pressure (so you have to mentally add that to the cooking times for any recipes you find online). This 'time to get to pressure' will be different for each recipe, so when cooking a recipe for the first time, it is best to watch over and time it until the red button comes up (ie pressure reached), then adjust the timer dial to the recipe's stated cooking time. Add this extra time to your recipe so it is a no-brainer next time. It does turn off the cooker when done, and allows the pressure to drop gradually. This means that if you are cooking something that needs a fast release, you will need to set a reminder (e.g. on your phone) to remind you to go and release pressure manually. * the recipe book that comes with it is awful - just looks like a mishmash of recipes that copied from online - some are not even for an electric pressure cooker. Not a major problem, there are millions of Instant Pot recipes that work just fine if you add on the time to get to pressure to the cooking time. These problems are not much of a bother to me, but might be for someone new to pressure cooking.

If, like me you're attracted by the price, but no local stores have the item available and delivery is an extra £4 which makes the deal taste a little bitter. Have a look at the 3 year instant replacement warranty, I usually add this to my electrical purchases anyway. It's about £6.20. This is counted as a separate purchase and because you're then purchasing two items delivery on the cooker becomes free. Or look at it another way, pay delivery at full price and get your 3yr protection for about £2.20. Hope someone finds this helpful.

Cheap for a reason. Most bread wont fit in this toaster properly if you like toast like this go for it.

I use this machine at work and whilst it does what it's supposed to, the plastic is flimsy and it feels like its going to fall apart in use. Pouring from the jug into the water hopper usually results in spillages as the spout on the jug isn't very big. Unless its only for occasional use i'd probably spend a bit more money and get something better - I have a Russell Hobbs machine at home which is spot on, was about £30 on sale.

Have one of these as my backup - alright for the price, doesn't get very hot though.

Luckily, I'm very brave and wasn't scared...and saved the day

correct you do need to add a lot less liquid than normal

From what I have seen of the vids on youtube people tend to put in too much fluid

Point is that the manual states it will display the time once you press the button it doesn't

Many of this type of oven are much lower wattage too

Well I have to say, I'd ummed and ah'd for years about whether if I got one of these it would just end up with the other useless kitchen ornaments in the back of the cupboard.... the price of this made me go for it in the end ... turns out I'm absolutely caning my machine and regret putting it off for so long! I use mine with filter papers so it's literally no effort to clean the machine. So pleased with this very cheap but now essential accessory!

Oh, final tip....run through 3 or 4 cycles of just water before your first brew to remove any unwanted manufacturing tastes!

Well I've tried it out now and I'm happy to say it works perfectly well. Coffee tastes no better or worse than other machines I've tried, and it's very quick and convenient! If any one has trouble opening the filter compartment like I did, you have to press down and towards you putting your thumb on the little hand hold bit. My filter compartment was really stiff and wouldn't unlock to swing out- I forced it after finding no other options and subsequently found that the reason it was stuck is a tiny (5mm) plastic tab that sticks through the hole in the back of the body of the machine to secure the filter compartment when it is swung closed. Mine had a casting flaw so it fit too snugly and wouldn't separate. I had to slightly shave the bottom of the tab with a pen knife. Now its easy to swing open.

I understand your view as I don't like eating or drinking hot things that have been in plastic either, bit I think you will struggle to find a non plastic one for under a £100. I can't think I've ever seen many non plastic filter coffee machines for sale actually?
