All Cow & Gate Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2018
The box has reduced to 800g hence the price change - I was in asda yesterday and they have done the same
Nothing to see here.
You will never find formula cheaper than it should be, companies are not allowed to discount formula or include it in offers.
They have reduced the size of the box from 900g to 800g so the price per 100g is still the same.
Ha ha ha. OK. (lol)
Sugar free coca cola zero... That's just SO full of sugar isn't it?! Also, I wouldn't give it to my children, fizzy drinks are adult drinks in our house. Do the NHS a favour and don't give these things to your kids, even if they are cheap.
And this snotty comment from someone that's posted deals for Coke, Haribo and Bulmers cider. (lol)
I don't think they're FULL of sugar and salt, but I do agree it's pretty easy to make your own. Some people just find these handy to have as a back up or a snack. So, climb down of that high horse. ;)
Full of sugar, salts and unnecessary stuff, cheaper and healthier to make your own baby food!
This same offer is on in Morrisons too. Just been in store and got 2 for £15.
Seems to suggest that only baby's over 1 should drink cows milk. I take it that means drinking it all the time, as my 6 month old is starting to have cows milk on some breakfast things (advice from a baby food book) but with a formula bottle as a drink.
Note that all the baby milk in Lidl is 800g and not 900g as is found everywhere else. 2 off 900g for £15 total @ Asda = £0.83/100g Where 800g @ Lidl for £7.99 = £1.00/100g Even at the regular price of £9 @ Asda, the price per 100g is pretty much the same as Lidl (as you get an extra 100g for the additional £1.01).
This offer also applies to sma follow on
Ordered... Thanks for posting! 👌
We were sent ours last week. It's good for a freebie, nicely laid out with some solid ideas. They obviously plug the cow and gate stuff but there's lots of other stuff in there too.
Also reduced in Braintree along with baby food
Daily mail rubbish again. This applies to milk suitable from birth; not follow on milk. You also can’t collect reward points for first (from birth) milk and it can’t be on promotion such as 2 for 1.
Happy 1st deal @spurs142 🎉
The post is for follow on NOT from birth. UK regulations The UK Law prohibits advertising and promotion of infant formula only (marketed for use from birth). Follow-on formula (marketed for use from 6 months of age) and milks for older babies can be advertised and promoted – BUT this must not cross-promote infant formula through similar branding or by it not being obvious the product is for older babies.
dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3964276/amp/Supermarket-giant-Tesco-caught-breaking-law-reducing-price-baby-formula-milk-nearing-sell-date-just-2-20.html Reducing the price of formula milk is not allowed under the 2007 Infant Formula and Follow-on Formula Regulations.
yeah apparently it'll discourage breastfeeding if infant formula is on offer. So no discounts, nor can you get any kind of loyalty points from boots/tesco or whatever.
What if it’s mean to be this price anyway and other retailers are making huge profits from it? :o
It’s to do with not encouraging people to go with milk rather than breast milk. The stuff from 6m can be discounted.
Why's that? I'm genuinely intrigued.
I really don't understand how it works
Nice find.however cannot avail twice.
Can also claim 10% off with student discount, so be paid to take them away. I got them on 2 accounts and plan to donate.
Prefer to make my own baby food.
No superdrugs in my town only superdrug
After 12 months use blue top cows milk.
I have three kids, used different formulas on each to find the most suitable one. Currently using ALDI mamia 1st milk £6:49 for a tin, fabulous stuff. I’m convinced it’s aptamil in disguise.
Well, I don’t know what vitamins in normal milk... :/ I don’t like health workers from experience. We tried nr.4 too as with her age that’s the one she should be but after 1 slurp she refused to drink, so sticked to nr.3
health worker said dont give 3 to us ... they said just use cow milk blue cap...
for some reason no 2 is allways oos in asda.. maybe because of this deal...
Offer extended. 3 more days to claim.
Back down to today only again.
showing as about half off, but still gd
It's been extended so it now lasts for 4 days.
Thanks, just brought the stuff today. Will upload
Boots are clearing certain lines, I picked up tray meals, jars and snacks a week ago for 50p or less
Think it might be store specific range change. We got some snack pack stuff, cow and gate yummies etc yesterday in Lancaster but not on offer at local store
These are always £1 in Asda!
Bargain! Haven't seen these for less than £1
Found some fruit pots in Ashton under lyne!
I don't see an issue with mixing fruit pouches with the baby porridge. It is purely fruit inside & I'm not going to deny that it's easy to throw one in the changing bag when you're going out. My comment was aimed at the chicken meal. It's good for another 3 months & was probably made last year, That's not the best thing to be feeding your baby.
I use the fruit pouches to mix with porridge oats a few times a week for my little boy but I cook most things from scratch as I'm sure other people do as well. A lot of people use convenience food for odd occasions, hardly going to do a child any harm.
The fruit pouches are great I mix them with porridge oats for my little boy and he loves it, absolute bargain :)
you could always feed your baby fresh food instead of stuff that can sit in a shop for a year
