Have not been able to run for a couple of weeks due to foot injury and I am so desperate I am considering this as a stop gap, delivery pretty pricey and no store near me
These are so bad they put you off exercising, better off using the crappy ones they put in local parks
Is there a code for free delivery as it's coming up at £24.99? thanks?
Decathlon are good. I bought a exercise bike 5 years ago. Use it 5 times week, still solid, no issues. Gives me a sweaty workout and wasn't expensive either. Also had a stepper from there, still going strong. Boxing punch bag and free weights still functioning.
Never miss a 'Cross Trainer' deal again!

Sorry missed that. It is a real shame people can't get to try out these machines before purchase. It really is important to get one that feels right. Even John Lewis has stopped selling them (fierce) I've got one with a 20kg flywheel and has an 18" stride. I would definitely not want it any shorter now and I'm only 5' 3". But if you're not after ideal then I guess anything is better than nothing.
I did mention the sizing in the OP, but I don't think gender has anything to do with it. Anybody around UK average height (5'9" M / 5'4" F) should be fine, anybody nearing 6' needs to do their research. Longer strides usually require more space unless you go for a stepper (I use a Bowflex MAX), this is compact relative to some which would cater for the taller user.
Stride length looks tiny though. Ok if you are a short female but be wary if you're not. https://the-home-gym.com/how-to-find-the-best-elliptical-stride-length-to-fit-you-perfectly
No room for your joke book though, small as it is. :p
Looks good, I could hang several shirts on that.

Daughter purchased some Nike clothes from SD. 2 items sent back for exchange. We get email, others sizes are not available so items cancelled. Been emailing for a month for refund, totally ignored. Made a complaint with the bank last week, got email today saying refund processed. Will never use them again. Terrible service.
No I don’t travel to those places or fly with Virgin. Nor do I read the Daily Mail. I do however know several Amazon employees who are paid fairly and happy at work. I also buy stuff from them on occasion. Now, let me tell you about Mike, he’s a nasty arrogant man. I’ve met him a few times. His business practices are disgraceful and he fully exploits his workforce. You can not compare Amazon to SportsDirect. Nothing to do with moral high ground, just common sense. Humans deserve to be treated better, especially on British soil.
Do you buy from amazon? Do you fly with virgin? Do you travel to areas of the world that use low paid workforce’s in hospitality? Great you take a moral stand but slightly short sighted. Easy to jump on the daily mail rhetoric...
Sorry, but it has everything to do with the deals. By purchasing from this disgraceful person and his company, you’re accepting his treatment of workers and his abhorrent work practices. This company should be boycotted by everyone.

It's not a bad device, it will get you into it. But if you do use it for something other than gathering dust after a year you will want more. Better to spend this amount to find out then save up for something more / bigger TV later. (if you don't catch the fitness bug)
I included that info in my description, so personally I think that’s enough. (highfive)
I have this for a few years now and found two things with it. First it is well made and works very well. Second is you actually have to use it to get results. Can fully reccommend it if you have the spare space. Great price. I was 100kg now 85. Agree that 150kg would be pushing it.
Sorry for being that guy - but the headline price should include delivery, so really £95.45
Great price but look on shpok firs as people practically give them away!

You get what you pay for but you don't need a gym quality exercise cross trainer. The ones at gyms are designed to run 24/7 with low maintenance. Unless you're olympic training then this will do fine.
I bought one of these to help me recover from an ankle operation. I was dubious but it was fantastic. I lost weight and gained fitness and mobility - seriously! My only observation is that I wore out the bearing in about 6 months. But it was £25 well spent and now I am getting it collected for a refund. How can that be bad? Also, I would suggest looking on the usual fleabay sites as there are some amazing bargains to be had.
If it doesn't have a flywheel, avoid. The decathlon ones are better although pricey. Personall I have the Domyos VE730. Try it instore to get a feel for these as most feel different stridewise and flywheel natural movement etc. *edit: seems the VE730 is out of stock and replaced by the shape version http://www.decathlon.co.uk/shape-cross-trainer-id_8349405.html
Does the model in the pic come with it?!! Guffaw, guffaw!! No, seriously though - does she?
This will probably be quite unpleasant to use at this price point and the weakest link on these budget trainers are the welds on the frame that take all the stressing especially the floor standing 'H' section with the uprights. Those welds will crack over time depending on how vigorous you work out on it, Chinese monkey metal.

They don't,,that's why I only paid £499 from Costco.
Used it once so far for 30 mins and it feels pretty good. Not quite gym quality but probably 80% of the way there for 10-20% of the price. Certainly a lot better than most 'home' devices. Time will tell how it holds up but so far, so good.
31 reviews over the last 12 months. Why are you shouting?
You're on the wrong forum if you think a discount means a poor deal!
Not surprised, WD40 is a degreaser, not a lubricant so probably made it worse, not better

more than 50% Great Savings from Argos on Reebok Fitness EquipmentArgos Deals
GREAT SAVINGS ON FITNESS EQUIPMENT From Argos includes Treadmills, Cross Trainers and Exercise Bikes.
You have to pull the cable from the bottom of the handle end. It helps if someone is holding the handle bar whilst you're pulling the cable to connect it to the bottom "hook". It does stretch enough to hook it on as shown on the diagram of the manual. That's the only bit I also had a little problem with but it can be done. Good luck! It's a a great machine for the price! My whole family is making great use of it!
how do you connect the tension control cable?? having a nightmare!!!
was out of stock for me when I posted it and is currently out of stock again lol
If you are a single parent with a full time job (or various other reasons carer etc) getting out for that fast walk isn't that easy, so this is an option for after their bed time. Thanks OP.
