Anyone know if this would include maintenance e.g. servicing?

Maintenance is £20 extra on these which includes tyre replacements.

You shouldnt need it though as first service is set at 20k miles (2 years) so just return a month before its due to avoid the service (or pay £199)
Auto might be better choice because this thing gooooooes!

Also. Feb 22nd is the new Cupra separation from SEAT announcement and a Cupra sales event. Might want to wait?

You will probably have to pay for consumables that come up such as oil, coolant, tyres etc

First service should be after 20K miles anyway

Don’t think you’ve ‘grasped’ my point...

Why allow someone to post a deal with a deal title that says £259/month when the true monthly cost is £299? Peeps on this site get hung up enough if someone misses £1.50 shipping from the price - all I’m suggesting is consistency.

If some people can’t do the basic maths, they don’t deserve for the deal to take advantage of them!

But they don't make a loss when supplying a customer unless they can arrange a package that causes them a loss on the line rental but a gain on something else, a TV package for example.

I never said a standalone sale.

That article has pretty much nothing to do with anything we are talking about btw, and it hasn't changed since I worked there, which wasn't too long ago.
Manufacturers have always had control over the franchise and deciding whether to allow a dealer to continue selling those vehicles and how much bonus they get etc.

You are making stuff up as you go along it appears. A car dealer CAN sell …You are making stuff up as you go along it appears. A car dealer CAN sell a car for less than they paid for it and still make money because a car dealer gets commission from finance companies, volume bonus and manufacturer bonus. This is why you should take out finance even when you have the cash because you will get a better deal and you can pay the finance off straight away.I suggest you don't assume what people know about commercial finance, I worked for vertu plc for 7 years as an accountant, I know how car dealer accounts work.

If it makes you feel any better mate, the roads at the minute don't allow for too much hooning.

Great vehicle though.

Keep looking at buying a Ram-Air IK for mine, but then i remember I'm 35 and probably shouldn't...

It's a lease deal - not many fans of this method of car ownership on here...I think the ling deal is a bit more like it...I know someone who owns one of these and its a very nice car.

The Golf R deal back at xmas was pretty good though...

Excess milage on this deal is 7.2p per mile so another 10K miles would cost £720

Bringing this to £7k ish

So, did anyone actually buy one?

What is their market? Teenagers? Because I certainly can't justify the insurance unless my parents were to pay (which they never would). Lot of car for the money but maybe there just isn't the want for fast small cars anymore. People are content in big Audi's and such
