weired... 3 months ago they had £5 off £25 spent. my husband and I did at the same time 2 separated transactions at the self check out and no one said we couldn't do it. we bought 2 wireless headphones and they cost £19.99 each. so one transaction had one of the headphones we paid it using the first voucher, didnt leave and did the other one that was our normal shopping (with the second headphone)using the second voucher. the person who checked the vouchers never said 'hey, i just authorised one voucher you can't use the second one'. If it happens in the future ask to speak to the manager. that is so wrong of him to even say that she'd be remembered if she tried to come back ... (confused)

Pauladin91

He doesn't work for Lidl mate so take off your "can I speak to the manager" attitude. What he was suggesting was very helpful as most people are successful with getting a satisfactory result from social media as companies want any bad PR put right.

Puffer

Yes, I realise you were trying to help, but I don't appreciate being referred to 'social media'. Sorry if my response seemed dismissive. What I was hoping for was other shoppers' actual experiences or specific details of Lidl policy.

Whenever you get a parking ticket from a retail place, always call their customer service who in most cases will have more power to influence the parking charge. Call Lidl Customer Services on 0800 977 7766 and explain the situation and say signage was not clear and you were not a regular at that store. Worked for me. Store managers couldn't give a toss.

Possibly, but Im fairly confident any other Store may have been a bit more sympathetic, after all, end of the Day they employ the Parking Enforcement Contractors and the Store Manager has the power to overturn any Fines being placed on there Customers. As Quoted Before - The only let off would have been if the Store Manager had Signed Off the Penalty as No Charge, which He didnt, He's attitude was " Well, you didnt buy anything, so why should I, as I have no record of you Shopping here".

We always get the entertainment passes anyways even if we don't pay. Always (have been to probably more than 10 breaks in the past few years. Under £100 for a family is very good and I had several free upgrades too.

We paid £240 for 4 days with passes in a top caravan last year with en suite, dining table. 3 bedrooms ect. Same van the following week was around £1400. Catch the weather in the best van on a good site and it's a bargain.
