I beat the first boss after a few attempts (and an NPC summon) but the swamp area made me quit the DLC. They basically just dumped a load of enemies into a difficult-to-navigate area with infrequent checkpoints, annoyed the (poo) out of me.

umirza85

Yeah would really prefer this on the Xbox as i find it easier to use the controller for extended periods of time. But this is almost too good an opportunity to pass up.... decisions.

Kebabcasualty

There are two expansions, Ringed City and Ashes of Ariandel.

ThatOneMoblin

How many DLC areas are there? I completed the base game but not the DLC, if there is only one I might not bother

Kebabcasualty

Be warned, the Ringed City dlc is not for the faint hearted. The first boss has given me tourettes.

mmm dark souls getting reduced prior to PS plus monthly games being announced....Do I wait :D

condracky

Bloodborne is by far my fav now, took me a little longer to click than the others but the faster more instinct based play style it pushes on you is superb when you really "get" it. Plus the art and world style is gorgeous.

Trying to decide whether to send back this order and just buy the Deluxe edition on the sale for £20 which includes DLC Any deals on the GOTY edition or is it just worth doing that?

SandorClegane

The Xbox One version of Mafia 3 Deluxe never seems to be on sale :(

Beynonator

Literally couldnt read your comment without sounding like Yoda (lol)

chrisnbourne

They've surely got to be making a sequel to Bloodborne (best game of all time IMO). The only game I've ever fully Platinumed!

mixmixi

I am really keeping my hopes high at the moment for bloodborne one. Only thing I was really enjoying in bloodborne in compare with DS was those visceral attacks. I mean backstabbing is fine but not fun. I kinda am sure there will be a bloodborne 2 announcement. I can see new merchs for bloodborne are currently available for preorder which is a bit odd for a game released moons ago.

They lies to customers and stated items had been dispatched when they had not been.

robo989

They did same to me. Lied about sending orders that they had miss priced.

Swayeee

Great game for masochists! xD Loved every minute of it. The frame rate is locked at 30 and it doesn't always hit that number but it's fine. I also played on PC and I enjoyed it just as much on both platforms.

Illusionary

In my experience they're generally pretty good - this incident with the Grainger Games liquidation stock seems to have been a one-off (albeit arguably fairly major) abberation.

I owned both. PS4 is simply glorious. The Xbox one is now gone. I sold it for dirt cheap, that's how badly I wanted it out of my house.

amaras

I am still new to DS3. I have bought it first on xbox few weeks back and frame rate dips were quite annoying. Last week there were pricing error on CEX so I have bought same game for PS4. And it is better on ps4 pro. Don't know about x1x... I just don't see point on spending all that money for new console, when only exclusive i like for xbox is forza horizon.

Tatwamasi

Sounds rational - buying a game for more than one console so that you can post comparisons on this forum. X1X rules the roost!

Tatwamasi

Great isn't it! :)

MrCuddles

Great find, thanks

TheAmazingNoob

I've been replaying Dragon's Dogma recently, It's definitely worth another go. I died many times in Bloodborne and I'm not ashamed to admit it. That's part of the charm of these games, you need to die in order to improve your fighting techniques, every enemy has a different strategy, you can't run in wildly swinging your weapon and hope they die, you need to be a lot more tactical about it, some enemies will force you to be very defensive etc. You know, I've been replaying Dragon's Dogma, and it comes pretty close to being a Dark Souls-like game without being Dark Souls, so definitely check that one out if you can

RAHMAN21

Yes I agree! Been playing ac origins and the witcher 3 recently and love both of them. Tried Bloodborne and gave up easily but might give it another bash sometime soon... 8)

TheAmazingNoob

Unfortunately not. As Dowgle said, it is known for being punishingly difficult, and really only RPG veterans would be comfortable playing this. I would say try out the genre first by playing less hardcore (but nonetheless amazing) action rpg games like The Witcher 3, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Skyrim, Nier Automata, Persona 5, Assassin's Creed Origins, etc. Assuming those games give you a taste for more hardcore RPG games with a smaller window for error in terms of combat, then definitely check out Bloodborne which I think is a nice introduction into From Software's titles and still easier than the Dark Souls series, then if you feel that you're ready, go for Dark Souls. I know I'm making it sound like getting into Dark Souls is an uphill climb, I just don't want you to play this game first, then get frustrated because you didn't know what to expect, and entirely give up on the genre when there's so many great RPG titles that are worth checking out besides Dark Souls, it's just Dark Souls is absolutely not for those that are not familiar with the genre. Hope that helps!

paultrfc

Anyone know if the UK season pass will work with an Australian PSN ID I have over 100 hours in the base game, but they are all in my Australian PSN. (physical copy of game) I now have a UK PSN, but don't want to start over again. Cheers. Fantastic game BTW
