All gone at that store
All Dinner Discounts, Offers and Sale - September 2018
Reviews are mixed. It's not a place I would go to for a holiday. Would happily use for work though.
You can get about a week holiday in Greece for those bucks, but if a warmer weather is unacceptable, this may be an option too. Especially that you have to get used with this for the time when a holiday in Europe will cost the same like one in United States.
Quick glance at the thumbnail photo - I thought it was Fawlty Towers!
WOW! really? kiss the kids goodnight...
I'd rather die early with a happy life than live longer and be always hungry!
on price its still a 7 at most - the lamb is really good. A Sainsburys boneless leg joint is about £10 for the similar size 500gm https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/gb/groceries/sainsburys-lamb-boneless-leg-joint-(approx-740g)?langId=44&storeId=10151&krypto=A01Ds3n9zalpRRu/puidjFwyfugiFCjJBabOy7mXU02kplCvV7vkboJwHpIwlxkW152T6dl7exzJJZ+XtailuRkMKQ3w6gtK+SRuJr5ECJhlwErWQ1gh+MB099PXDySA20LwQt84FZxZEJ/PU3I2swNSlZBpAmxMstOO0i4Nqps=&ddkey=https:gb/groceries/sainsburys-lamb-boneless-leg-joint-(approx-740g)
Picked up a Finest meal deal in Tesco for £10, not had the wine yet but the rest was lovely :)
What would you give it out of 10?
Yep already posted: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/divine-fairtrade-dark-chocolate-after-dinner-ginger-thins-heron-foods-1-3052255
I might have one before dinner because I am such a rebel (strong) Heat given OP.
Omg I want this but I am down south. Oh, you guys are lucky up there!
anyone know the best before date on these?
Also...don't forget MEERKAT MEALS gets you 2 for 1 on Starters / Mains / Sweets (but drinks are extra) at PREZZO (and others) (y)
Which flavor do u guys recommend? :/
Don't forget cashback folks. It's 20% via QuidCo (if I've read the details correctly), expires in 4 days. 5.25% via TCB
Interesting deal that let's you eat AND drink what you want than be tied to the set menus from other voucher sites like Buyagift etc, so for that reason I think its hot.
Just had this tonight. The menus look so cheap and tacky now. No draft beer, all pumps were dry. Service was good for a change and it was fairly busy but the full prices are just insane. £10.19 for the burger I had. Chips were worst than Mcdonalds. Burger was frozen patty but ok, no where near the standard you expect from eating out these days. £4.99 a bottle of Brooklyn is insane. At least it is included in the deal which is good! Worth a fiver, nothing more.
Not looking good for F&B.
They'd have to pay me more then £5 to eat there
Also available via Voucher Codes
These guys must be having trouble. Their current groupon offer is unbelievable- £20 for two people, two courses each with choice of pretty much all the menu. Have never been as the menu suggested they were trying to be all things to all people and our local has under average Tripadvisor reviews.
Heat for you
Photo is Canizarro Park, Wimbledon Common. A great hotel. Also done Poole on their Sunday offer. Enjoyed that too.
Yes it is. £30 at Glasgow.
Is breakfast extra?
Henley on Thames one is lovely.
I think quite a few went up the other day, my set arrived on Monday and I thought oh I'll go and buy the bowls but they had gone up then... annoyingly I saw the bowls on eBay for a similar price but they sold and now more expensive there too :) I'll just keep it bookmarked and take a look daily
Oh no - keep an eye out they change price quite often. If I see them down again I'll let you know
I just checked again, The glasses and the cereal bowls and the Pitcher were all on offer and now they are full price again
The glasses was the one I noticed they are now full price
Which one? Just checked and the dinner service stilll £38.35 delivered?
Loads of stock left at Tesco Extra Peterborough plus casserole dishes for £2 :D
Are these suitable for baking sponge cakes in the microwave? I'm sick of waiting an hour for my cakes to bake in the oven. Kindest regards
Can you add a picture of the EAN please
Also had quite a few in Burnage store (Manchester) last night
They had these in the Bradford store too.
Doing these in my local home bargains for £1.20. Heat for those who have them as most Tesco deals are wild goose chases.
Got one of these up at Haslingden a couple of weeks back at this price, these things are bomb proof and don't seem to leak unlike others I've tried. Worth it for the money...Heat OP.
Am I the only one who thought this was a ready meal with horrible powdered potatoes?!
Plenty in Burnley store
Available in Bedworth too. They also had then rectangle shaped tubs too :D
Not rude at all. I am entitled to have an opinion even if it differs from yours. What's rude is calling out it's rude. But unlike you, I don't care of your opinion!
Hitchin is really not hipster, trust me!
Little bit rude. There’s plenty to do depending on what you fancy.
World's first roundabout here. Pop over to Standalone Farm and then if you're feeling really posh and hipster-ready, go over to Hitchin.
My wife stays in this hotel a couple of nights a week with work, and considering the price it is a cracking deal to be fair. It is part of the Mercure brand (So Accor group - IHG / NovoTel / Sofitel etc) and Ive stayed there a few times. Pros - Fitness centre is full size with pool, not just a small room with a running machine in there (Hiltons, Im looking at you!) - Massive car park - Nice grounds - Decent breakfast - Spa isnt bad Cons - It is an old building (as some of the Mercure "halls" are) so expect the usual "great for a wedding venue but not exactly modern" theme you get with these places (Dated but clean restaurant etc) - Some parts can seem quiet / abandoned when not in use In the end, I look at the price. For fifty quid, this blows a travelodge or similar out of the water by any metric and is a great place for a little cheap break or a base for visiting Baldock / Letchworth / Train into London etc
Great little set, bought two last week, plates are slightly smaller than regular dinner plates but perfect for what I needed.
PS - Google reviews etc show this is a recurring issue for Village Hotels - I found various other customers saying they had no hot water for the duration of their stay!
DO NOT STAY IN THESE HOTELS! I stayed in ‘Chester’ St David’s last week and there was no hot water to the entire hotel (140 rooms) from 17:00 Thursday night until at least 11:00 Friday morning. A hotel without hot running water for 18+ hours? I checked out and checked into the Ramada in Wrexham due to this. Staff were rude and unhelpful, so rude it was unbelievable, and this was apparently the Reception Manager I was speaking to! Absolute joke. No refunds have been issued yet either; I’ve had to call and chase yesterday to see why a) they’ve not refunded me and b) why their staff display zero customer service. I also had to change rooms initially as my window was broken, it was freezing in the room and the guttering was overflowing, and all I could hear was that. Absolute disgrace of a hotel and the worst I’ve ever stayed in by far.
Yes, actually being in Wales is a bit cheeky. I actually did enjoy the hotel, but I had a car. Chester was excellent.
Why do i even bother checking anymore "from £59" and can barely find below £140
Beware, they vary - some of them are rather tired now. Great at these prices but I would have been very disappointed with the 'Chester' one (actually on a business park in Wales!) if I'd paid anywhere near rack rate.
Last time I did a Groupon deal was for Aircon refill when I rang up the garage to book the car in was told the earliest booking they had available was in 3 weeks time when I asked why the long wait I was told it was because they only do 3 Groupon bookings per day because if they did any more they would go bust, so I phoned Groupon and cancelled and got a full refund.
Brilliant deal! (highfive)
I went last week for the bird of prey section...it's good but £9 is s bit steep..this seems a good deal tho
That’s what ‘from’ is for. I tried to book as well
Is there any code necessary? It's quoting me £149 per nigh in September Friday to Sunday 21-23
On average it's never as cold down here and even in march every year I get caught out and get sunburnt and the next day I can't get my car off the drive because of the ice, you can honestly go through all the seasons in one day, December will probably be wet and windy as usual but you will get the odd days when it could be early spring as with anywhere total lottery on weather.
If i go in early december is it still nice. Ive never been but its my wifes birthday so i thought i would ask?
Nice hotel and good facilities, awesome if you want to get away from it all, but does get noisy with the air station nearby.
Awesome, thanks have added this to the post :)
10% off with code over bh weekend also.
Better of using the 25% off codes that come up once a week.
Had some individuals, great at original price even. Check for specks in the glaze tho, have a few tiny marks in the ones I have, and one plate with edging that doesn't quite line up.
Also in hexham, but not many left in box sets. Plenty in individual items. Lovely quality.
Tesco in hull had them in today as well
Think it was red, black and white in the Kilmarnock store.
Thanks OP. Saved me over a fiver.
