yes- tip is dont sell your guns! In all seriouslness- use golden keys (find the codes on this site) and get a couple of decent weapons and you should find it fairly easy to make progress. That is until the free days play runs out (y) And yes- it is better co op.
any tips for borderlands lol, sold all my guns, and then thought it would be clever to sell all my stuff again, luckily ended up in battle with 1 gun. I imagine it would be more fun with people. Started off with Flak, no idea what i am doing just hit the 2nd area i guess.
Shame will only download to internal though and not the external that i actually selected to download too. No space on internal so won’t work. It does suggest to delete a game I want to kept. Handily doesn’t even tell you how big the file is either. Overall could be better.
What a lineup. Sunk over 100 hours into both MCC and BL3. I used to work on the Dirt series (until 3) but racing games were never my thing, so will give that a miss :)
Wow! This is probably the best free play weekend yet (y)
It's cheaper on the Iceland store. I bought the ultimate edition yesterday, worked out less than £11
That pack wasn't part of the car pass but it is included with any edition, they also released free spotlight cars every month, I had to pay for the drift car pack even though I own the ultimate edition was pretty gutted about that (lol)
There is the Hoonigan Car Pack but I thought they were all included in the Car Pass? Will need to double check this...
I'm 90% sure that there's at least one or two other car packs that don't come with the car pass
Nexoria: Dungeon Rogue Heroes although only 40% off (£2.51) it comes with a generous 4,000 gamerscore. One for the achievement hunters for sure! (party)

In this instance I'm specifically comparing the Sony Exclusives being £70 vs Gamepass oriented games. Absolutely Fifa and Battlefield and such are gonna have some horrendous DLC's/Micro transactions and still be expensive to buy. There's no excuse for that in my opinion. But so far with PS5 in terms of £70 games, I believe there's been Demon's Souls, Sackboy, Returnal & Ratchet & Clank non of which seem to have any locked content or planned DLC's. We obviously don't know for sure if they'll do stuff later but so far they seem to be pretty much all there. I've definitely not felt like any of these have lacked in content. I definitely agree with bugs and patches though, Returnal being a good example. There's also no excuse for that. I mean in terms of Xbox exclusives though just look at Halo. Now you're only getting the campaign as part of Gamepass/if you buy the full game. They're making the multiplayer free to play which I assume is so they justify filling it with micro transactions and therefore offsetting the cost of putting the campaign on Gamepass. Before Gamepass every Halo shipped with multiplayer. But I guess like you said, stuff like this has been happening for a while and with multiplayer games, free to play and micro transactions are huge now so maybe that's what they would have done even if Gamepass wasn't a thing. It's hard to know. I guess you're probably right, stuff like this will happen regardless. It just sucks that something like Dirt 5 goes on sale for cheap yet because it's missing so much content I'd rather tell people to play what little is there on Gamepass because of that. I feel like saying the same for Halo because now you're just getting a campaign. I said the same for Sea of Thieves because it had barely any content a launch. Hopefully Xbox puts out some good stuff later down the line, it's just for now, most Gamepass stuff feels like it's worth being on there because so much is missing. The PlayStation games are expensive, but I feel like I've got my moneys worth nearly every time and as long as it stays that way, I'd be happier buying a couple of expensive more complete games each year than playing a bunch on Gamepass that are missing so much content.
It could go either way. But I personally think this generation is going to be better value for gamers than previous. Don't forget that last gen brought about season passes. Microtransactions. Loot boxes. Locked content. Early access games. Unfinished full retail released games. Day 1 patches becoming the norm... Subscription services didn't make this a reality. £70 tricks yourself into believing it has to be polished and complete. Just like with a higher price psychologically we tell ourselves the higher the price the higher the quality... It's not really the case. Fact is so far those £70 games have still needed various patches. Still crash. Still have bugs. And will more than likely soon see season passes, locked content, microtransactions etc rising the price to £70 isn't going to stop that. Wait to see what EA do with battlefield...FIFA... If it's the standard for gamepass games then it's the standard for games in general. The games aren't exclusive to gamepass unless they're from Microsoft. And, like I said...outside of Gamepass games are still getting loot boxes microtransactions, released unfinished, locked content etc... Gamepass just allows you to play these games within a cheaper subscription than paying to own them each time. That's not a bad option to have.
I guess I'm thinking more the PS2 days and before. Buy a game and that was what you got. I miss that. Yeah it's not been great for a while I know. Problem is it's getting worse, and I think with the rise of subscription services like Gamepass and EA Access it'll only get worse. Paying £70 for a PS5 games sucks, but at least it feels (to me anyway) like you're getting a polished and complete game. And even when they do make DLC for their games it's usually one big DLC or a whole shorter game and it's pretty substantial and not too expensive. Most games from what I remember didn't even have any like God of War, Last of Us 2, Ratchet & Clank etc. I know it's a lot of developers and not just potentially Xbox exclusives, but the point I'm trying to make is that I think if a game is going to go to Gamepass, it makes sense for them to cut off content for the game as people aren't buying the game full price. I know this isn't a new thing but it worries me that it'll the standard for most if not all future Gamepass games. I say this because I think Gamepass is an awesome service, but if every game on it is gonna be stripped of content to make it work then, to me, the service won't be worth it to me. I'd rather pay £70 per game if it's gonna be pretty much all there.
This has been going on long before gamepass. There's been locked content day one in physical games since the 360/PS3 days. It's not something new. Gamepass can only put on the games that exist and the model those publishers choose to push. Least you're not just getting a £70 charge option for it like on PlayStation. Which good old days. How far back do we go? 360...not only do you get a paywall that locks away half your content, you also get one time use codes for multiplayer too. On top of locked dlc. Xbox? Buy whole games again for extra content.
I know. I'm just saying. I can imagine a lot of games that go to Gamepass having a lot of extra paid content rather than putting full games on it, regardless of whether they are Xbox exclusives or multiplat games. We'll have to see what comes to it later. I heard about the EA thing with Codemasters. Sad times. Gaming isn't what it used to be. Wish we just got full complete games.
aye, I've got it (not played in a while mind you), but at the time was looking something that would shine on the PS5. I must redownload dirt rally 2.0 and see how it plays on it (y)
The game is utter tosh as a massive Dirt franchise fan. The only saving grace is the Playground mode which is the only mode I play on it. Tonnes of brilliant user made events for endless playability.
I’d recommend dirt rally 2.0, the dirt rally games are more sim and the Dirt games like Dirt 5 are much more arcade.
Gold was on offer for £13 a while ago. Don't rush it will be on offer again :D
@jungli999 to add to this, I'm by no means a rally sim pro, but was stuck between Dirt 5 and WRC 9 a while a go. Opted for WRC 9, and found it nails hard and I'm duff at it, but still enjoy the rally sim aspects of it. Recently downloaded the demo for Dirt 5, and I just can't get behind the floaty, arcadey feeling of the cars :( Otherwise it LOOKS good, even with the garish neon all over the place. Definitely considering picking up the crew 2 now though for a try (might give the gold edition a miss, £72.99 oof)

I see there is additional content (DLC) for this game, but I can’t work out if they just unlock content early, or if they’re things not included in the base game. Can anyone let me know please?
Beautiful game enjoy playing this everynite for a hour or two, but that's as far as it goes!... the design of the muiltiplayer system is terrible.... that bad that over a month ago they had to cross-platform the game online, now you can enjoy playing with PS5/PS4 /Xbox / Stadia /PC players online.... But! the problem does still does exist,... you have no control which players that you're hooked up and which tracks you race on, most nites the outcome is still the same where you only race against one or two other players... the most I have raced against is 6 players at a time and to experience this is very rare!... when you enter online play its a ticking time clock, where it randomly searches for other players at the same time as your search!.. There is no other way to find other players than this way unless you host a private session with a friend invite on the same platform...... saying all that Codemasters are still continuing to support this game with the latest free update 5.0 which was released 2 days ago (20th July 2021)... with many improvements which this game still continues to get better.... so for £15 the game is quite a bargain in my personal opinion.
Worth it just to sit there revving the adaptive triggers before you race.
It's a decent, fun arcade racer at a very good price, just don't go into it thinking it's a Rally game, for that WRC 9 is a better option.
This is dirt cheap. Will probably be cheaper once i get my hands on a PS5.

need to get the year 1 upgrade cheap for dirt 5 any ideas ?
Still paying £4.25 a month. Bargain (y)
I'm glad I'm not mad, I like these bundles for the bigger games but you tend to find some great indies that you would not have bought otherwise. Look forward to trying paradise killer. I picked up one of these bundles before I got to play simulacra which has got to be one of the most original games I have played in years.
Good month but not for me. Hoping next month we get mafia. Mainly as I have been wanting that for ages below a tenner
Sony would be fairly silly releasing any PS5 exclusive games anytime soon, barely anyone can get hold of a console and by the time any new releases can reach mass audiences they'll be heavily reduced. Afterall it's going to be 3rd maybe 4th quarter until they can meet demand and make scalpers moot
Good friend of mine was raving over this, apparently the dualsense haptics is worth playing for that alone, to be honest if it's even half as impressive as the rain haptics in Astroboy then I can't wait, take my heat
Won't be seeing that until 2022/23 as per Polyphony's previous form. They might pull the old 'prologue' in between game again.
Great game. I paid about 40 for it back when I got the PS5 at launch and it's great to just pick up and play a couple of races. Also, even though I've got it on PC via gamepass so I could play it at even prettier settings, I'd miss the amazing haptics it has on the PS5 pad.
Grid. Most all rounded ps4 racer and looks arguably better in some aspects to dirt 5. Plays really well too.
