The resorts are currently closed due to lack of staff/park capacity not necessarily due to demand. As these open up supply will hopefully outpace local demand which means better deals for international visitors.

1st time I'll be looking off-site due to lack of incentives to pay the much higher on-site costs. Free Transport to Resort - Gone Free parking - Gone DDP - Gone ( the current offer gets a family of 4, $15 each a day. Not near enough for 1 QS.) Late magic hours - Gone Faspasses - Gone Free Magic Bands - Gone

arm5ky

Do you mean fully booked for few hotels that are open? Not really fully booked if they've mothballed 1/2 the Resorts due to lack of paying guests.

Ahh that’s a pity , thanks to fast passes we weren’t waiting anywhere too long and were able to ride all the best ones , also single rider also was good where we couldn’t take our daughter like Pandora .... loved it all , hopefully all will be back as it was in next few years

spenspuma

Just to note, for the foreseeable future, Disney has removed the fastrack system, which is a huge shame....Previously i have waited eagerly on my phone exactly 30 days ahead to book the fastpasses online for the biggest rides. Avatar can have a 3 hour queue..slinky dog 2 hours..Seven Dwarfs Mine train 2 hours..test track 2 hours...etc..s9 fast passes were a godsend.

The link in the deal goes to an unofficial recording (albeit good) - but it doesn't zoom in to all the animation details projected on the castle. If you search for "Happily Ever After fireworks" and choose the video from the "Disney Park" channel, that is the official one, that has better audio and also zoomed in to see the animations at various times. However, its not in 4K as the video linked in the deal button.

Not with American Attractions who I bought them from, if I wanted 2021 tickets, I would have needed to return them and pay £300 extra. Anyway, not risking booking for next year and any travel insurance will exclude covid related claims.

hawk299

If your tickets were the UK Ultimate ones Disney have auto extended the usage date till Sept 2021 (same price)

busted

Sorry can just imagine how frustrating hoping you can get there soon 🤞

Disney World is closed but you can do a virtual trip with ride experiences, park parades

We would have been there this week (and next) :(

Thanks for letting me know, yes a little disappointing I thought it was going to be a lot of the rides!

Gutted for you. Before I was too unwell to travel, we used to go beginning of May. Low crowds and excellent weather (very hot, but tolerable and if it rains, it's a heavy downpour for an hour, then everywhere is dry 10mins later). Even got married at Clearwater Beach in May when exchange rate was $2/£1.

fazzy-bhoy

Yeah, guests who stay on site can book really far in advance. We stayed in a villa and could only book 30 days in advance. By that time the slots on the major rides were all gone. Didn't even entertain a Disney restaurant as couldn't get booked. That said, I loved Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom but didnt get on a couple of the rides at the latter as wasn't prepared to spend four hours in a queue.

oneman

Sadly it's all in the planning now. Everyone has fast passes that can be booked 90 days before you travel. Best don't as all the best slots get booked months in advance, same with restaurants.

It definitely sucked on Christmas eve when I had no surprise gift for my wife (had to make do with gift vouchers). Disney refunded my money without even looking into it, almost like they didn't care/weren't surprised. They certainly weren't interested in trying to make up for the fact that it ruined a Christmas surprise for someone who is a life long fan of all things Disney and has had her heart set on that set since it was released. The best they managed to come up with was a discount code for free delivery off my next Disney Store order! (lol). They simply couldn't understand/didn't care that I won't ever be buying from them again. As for Hermes, I've always had a decent service from them, until now. But I'm putting it down to the christmas rush and a greedy fecker (opportunist) at the depot who spotted a large expensive looking box with a Lego logo on the side and found a way to make it vanish. And because I'm a customer of Disney's and not Hermes, I have no comeback against them. Oh well, guess I'll have to buy it from Lego direct at full RRP :(

powdersnake23

Aaahhh that's where I'm going wrong! :o Why didn't I think of that? (confused)

Well hmm that is unfortunate mine got delivered at the expected time but I did order mine super early in the morning like 6am. All couriers are having a nightmare at the minute due to increased residential delivery volume

Deeealz

I’ve had exactly the same issue regarding non delivery. Currently awaiting a manager call back. As I’ve done all the chasing so far I don’t hold out much hope of getting that call.

SniperViper

Not sure if the gingerbread house is the £80 one, as they've stated "mini" gingerbread house. Just to factor in when weighing up your purchase :).

Xaiiin

Spoke to somebody at Hermes, they defo dont have the parcel. Spoke with a guy at Disney, he apologised profusally but explains there was a problem with the order and that it needed repalcing / refunding. On requesting it be replaced he advised they had no stock so sadly I had to have my money back. Personally think they took more orders than there stock could accomodate. Going to order from the lego shop who I belive do a 3.0.3% cashback which on this product works out at a good £30, and you get a free lego Gingerbread house worth £80. That'll do.

Tickets now £393 at orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk with the code as £399 is their standard price. Which I think makes the cheapest Disney themselves at £385, if you don’t want to go to will call? Edit: bought my tickets directly from Disney on the basis of the above comment, these are actually listed as will call e-tickets as well, but can be linked to Magicbands - as presumably can any ticket in that case. Could have saved £20! Also so everyone understands: OP is a better deal if you have Magicbands and are willing to pay up front - you should not have to print anything if associated via the MDE app. The above comment only seems to have relevance if you don’t have Magicbands or don’t wish to do this - I found it a bit misleading. Although I also don’t get why Disney make it hard and require you manually to link tickets and room reservations bought while logged into the site to your profile on the same site...

paulhills

Very good price, but just so everyone understands, these are e-tickets which you have to print, not Gate ready tickets that are delivered to you and can be used straight away. Also you have to pay all upfront whereas some ticket sellers let you pay a deposit with the balance later, which may be helpful to a lot of people. If you require a deposit option and gate ready tickets, orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk are the cheapest. If you use the code deewol6, adults are £378 and children £359, the tickets also come with a host of freebies.

abigsmurf

Remember to link your tickets to a Disney account to activate Memory Maker and Fastpass will in advance. Memory Maker gives you free ride photos (you tap your ticket or magic band against a glowing orb outside the ride and it sends the photo to your account where it's downloadable for a couple of months). Fastpass for rides opens 30days in advance and fills up very fast for the big rides.

Dipbill

I've never had a problem with them. Had a couple of cashbacks not track, put in a claim and they got sorted out no bother. In fact the Disney world ticket cashback should have been about £44, as it was 2% for tickets, but I got the 3% which was listed for hotel bookings.
