Go for the Lidl one. More powerful and about the same price.

sheffield788

You can buy it now for £45, as the code was only valid until midnight. Still decent for the price, but max pressure may be too low for some.

kaizhu79

Could try unplug the supply hose then turn on the pressure washer. That should pump out the water left inside the system. This one has very low flow rate so I wouldn't expect too much power from it.

Code isn’t valid 😔

These are good. Although the stitching on the inside pockets and the plastic handle don't last too long. And the inside pockets aren't that deep.

I agree about £17 at Costco Southampton yestersa

dezontk

I have one of these and they're pretty good quality, I do prefer this though for it's light-weight, easier to carry and stackability. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CE5DA56/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

If people stopped posting Screwfix deals, nobody would have an issue shutting their toolbox.

dickie_engine

Got one of these when on offer at amazon. Love it. So much easier than a rigid box. Loads of pockets to sort tools and so much more flex when trying to get the thing shut. Would heartily recommend.

So put a comparable Numatic on to support your statement. Just saying it's not worth the money, without any reason given means nothing. I suggest the most equal would be the WV 470, but that's at least twice the cost. Doesn't have a power passthrough so isn't as easy to use as an extraction unit.

Bertie (5) & Ria (4) decided, 5 deals back to "help" brighten up the picture deal landscape, with their own ideas of what I am posting & finding, best one yet is the Triple QX drawing, took an age for one of them to do it, plus they get a mention in our OP's if they help out.. just hope they do not start "charging" for their service! :S That is good value, I needed something that had what this set has got in it and a 1/2 drive, or would have gone for something like that one, still think some are getting carried away with what this deal is not, its a £65 selling everywhere socket set, for half the price with free delivery! :D

devdas73

Anyone with Costco membership these may be worth a look less pieces then this I am not 100% on price it was £23 excluding vat but a lot of gear for the money I think that the ratchet is most likely to fail as overtightened nuts or bolts should be undone using a breaker bar as provided in both these sets

philjstephenson

Heat for the "Paint" skills on the pic.... art college or what!

Not a great deal. £60 when they have two batteries. Same price as in the shops

Yogi4L

Thank you

paulandpam1

If I was you I would buy a cheap mains powered hammer drill something like https://www.screwfix.com/p/energer-40cr-710w-percussion-drill-220-240v/9765v you can buy them for less money than this cordless and they will be much more powerful = quicker

Yogi4L

Is this drill ok to use on masonry walls? For putting up blinds and curtains? My bathroom window also has tiles on one half, with the correct attachment would this drill some holes to put a blind up? I only want to buy a drill for DIY use but I have a lot of curtain tracks and blinds to put up and possibly other tasks like fixing shoe storage units to the wall (internal wall shared with the next door neighbour).

Makkand

I got this at full price £6X can't recall price exactly, needed one at short notice. Maybe I had low expectations but this is a bargain price, used for loads of things around the house, it's lightweight, charge time and use isn't bad. Tempted as it's cheap enough to buy another as a backup at this price!

Draper Storm Force Angle Polisher at Costco £59.98 instore

LocalLocalFound 21st AprFound 21st Apr
£60 is pretty good price for an angle polisher, 1200w and spins at around 3,300 rpms.
Get dealGet deal
19Danny81

I think with these polishers, what makes them a decent deal is also down to the amount of accessories that come with them. Polishers of this spec from other brands (maybe lesser known, not necessarily lesser quality) can be had from about £45, but it maybe worthwhile to pay £70 for the Tesco (Vonhaus) one that comes with several pads and attachments

cabbagekitten

Not a reduction, next best price is £85.50 i believe. This is definitely a new item to costco though, the old polisher they had was a cheap branded vibrational one and to be honest, it was garbage. Also it hurt and should’ve come with a hand arm vibration warning on the box

JustinKampongsa

And £1000 to repaint your car if you don’t know what your doing correct (lol)

CloudHeaven

Reductions like this are normally in the voucher book? Did I miss it? In which case does it end on the 24th when the new book starts?

Draper 82398 Magnetic Bit Holder Set - Silver (127-Piece) £23.57 - Amazon

For all you DIYers out there this is a nice bit of kit at the lowest price I've seen. Good reviews
Kebabologist

Good information and absolutely spot on. Bits are consumable items and will need to be replaced at some point.

Thoughtful

PZ2 and PH2 are the most popular and widely available as replacements. They are made to wear out or the alternative would be they round off the head of the screws making them difficult to remove. The harder more long life the bits are, the more likely they are to damage the screw heads.

Kebabologist

This set is definitely not impact rated. Consider Milwaukee bit sets or sabrecut. They seem to be the best bang for the buck.

MIINT

In looking for a set that suitable for an impact driver..the ones I have get chewed up

Kebabologist

DIY rated only. I had this set a while ago and the most popular bits pz2 and ph2 broke too quickly. False economy buying cheap sets.

Harley_Mick

Chinese then, but then it's only a tenner, I wouldn't use them on engines etc (a broken tap or easyout is a nightmare to remove), ok for diy metalwork.

jenbacobs

The ones in stock were draper redline https://www.drapertools.com/brands (edited)

Harley_Mick

Most draper stuff is Chinese, that name means nothing nowadays, the better tools they sell are labelled expert if I remember right, and even they are not great quality. Used to be decent british made tools at one time.

spannerzone

Looks identical to one I got about 30 years ago! Some Draper stuff is OK and some is terrible. For £10 it's probably OK if your expectations are realistic.

Infiltrator

It's draper so can't be complete junk, albeit carbon steel - I bought one last week and given I've used a tap or die a handful of times in the last 20 years (despite doing all my own car maintenance)it'll be useful as an emergency set.

Bit confused, these state a 3 year warranty? https://www.sgs-engineering.com/4932464067-7-pc-screwdriver-set

Bendown

Actually, they probably were thinking about it.

Gentle_Giant

Do they work for cowboys?? I worked in the industry for years, and the only company that wouldnt supply new VDE gear yearly I walked out on (for a different HSE violation). The small print with the drivers should make it quite clear they are only guaranteed to withstand ANY voltage for 12 months, and anyone getting seriously zapped and found to be using a set over 12 months old is going to face HSE and possibly police action against their bosses and themselves. I worked with everything from 5v up to 16KV, although 99% was 110 to 440volts.

kroe9

Decent set. The pouch, blades and the small handle look identical to the CK set sold in lots of professional electrical wholesalers. That set usually retails around the £30 mark so this is represents good value. The larger handle also looks smaller and therefore a bit more ergonomic, so an improvement. I wouldn't worry about the VDE warranty expiring. Unless the blades become damaged it would be years before you'd have any risk using a set like this.

tek-monkey

No probs, glad it helped someone. I've ordered too despite the negatives as I wanted something compact.

Kenneth131

Simple job, you don't top up the rads you just top up the pressure to the boiler, check what the pressure guage should it at for your boiler and there will be a pipe going into the boiler which has a little leaver, your turn the leaver and it tops the pressure up, just allow enough water in to repressurise the system that's it, if it's needed at all
