Cannon "were" good till they were taken over by Indesit and their uk factory was closed, since then theyve just been other cheaper makes cookers with a cannon badge on, not a patch on Rangemaster.
If only I had the space
This just means I’m gona burn more food than normal..
Saying that the difference of quality from this to a flavel is about as damning review as this cooker can get and you are completely right too, the Beko made Flavel is infinitely better than this cooker, I have done the warranty work for both companies and wouldnt touch the Bush with a barge pole even at this price, if anybody wants a good range cooker then the minimum they should look at is a Rangemaster, and if you cant afford a new Rangemaster then look for a reconditioned one through a reputable seller, even a 15-20 year old range master will outlive these for a number of years. A most definite cold from me, a range cooker specialist.
We bought 1, almost 2 years ago, not had any problems with it and its been excellent so far. The 2 year warranty is due to run out next month. An Appliance warranty company contacted us and we decided to take it as its free call out and also covers accidental cover for £4.08 per month. Glad we have now looking at some of the other comments.
Lakeland has the Karu in stock it seems: https://www.lakeland.co.uk/62647/Ooni-Karu-Outdoor-Pizza-Oven-with-Baking-Stone-UU-P0A100?fbclid=IwAR0TRv79n76sOH7rC7KHHteKnmyWk9LXLPO0hpV4j37JJnibacgmwk37U-8
I bought a peel from B&Q for £17, metal (called GoodHome Pizza spatula on their website), long enough and fits the Karu really well. They also do a wooden one for the same price.
Out of stock now (annoyed)
Damnit, 6 days too late. Don't fancy waiting until September either....really wish they'd keep up with demand
FYI. Those looking for a gas burner - they’re now in stock online at ooni. Not sure how long they’ll stick around though.
Yeh but its showing oos. Anyone know if i can pick one up in store?
For my asda uniflame bbq I did exactly this. Managed to get an old canister for £5 off gumtree then it was £33 for a swap to a full one plus £7 for new regulator. Nightmare trying to get hold of gas atm though!
I was looking to switch to the yellow flo gas cylinders that are butane with a new regulator. Assuming that would work well?
Change the regulator to a screw in type and just use propane and save a fortune
As far as my limit knowledge goes ... I’ve rang a few places today. We need “patio gas”. If you get the blue butane canisters you also need a new regulator.
Good idea, will look at getting one of these until I can get my induction cooker 👌🏽
That's a good solution
Having an absolute mare with them at the moment. Advised to call to arrange installation of a cooker (old ones gas, new ones electric so need to make sure the correct engineer is sent). Managed to get through after an hour on hold, paid, then today they called my partner about delivery etc and they said they have no record on file of this.. Been on hold a total of 6hrs today (thankfully an 0800 number) and gotten absolutely nowhere. Was a good deal, but if we can't get it fitted fat load of good that is! So people are aware, they are advertising fitting of cookers, providing customers keep to distancing measures.
Have this exact oven and it’s great. The side oven is best for roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings at the top where it gets hottest. We use the main oven for everything else. Grill takes a while to get hot but then cooks evenly. Safety feature on the gas hobs is great but annoying to start with keeping your button in for up to 10 seconds
My dealing with them with our fridge was ok, although it arrived with a dent in the door, I phone them, they said phone this number, then the manufacturer sent a new door, and offered to send an engineer to swap.
Would be delighted if someone could answer this question before it's back in stock again. Website description could be better...
Can anyone tell me how wide this is in total please? I am hoping to get one once back in stock but want to make sure it will fit. Found the measurements on the website a bit confusing Thanks
Great, thanks for the help (y)
Good observation. Yes it is in 2 halves. I've found it much easier for cleaning too (the wurst part about a BBQ, after that pun) the grills can fit into my sink with ease.
can anybody who has one of these already please tell me what the overall length is when the fold shelf is down so i can try purchase a cover for it . i currently have one on order and expecting it anytime soon )))
I'm looking for a range cooker, but all electric, if anyone knows of any good deals like this. I especially liked the larger oven size here, but no mains gas within a hundred miles :/ & bottle gas for cooking is too expensive :(
Be very wary of this oven... I have one and the oven shelves do not fit correctly the slightest bit of weight and they collapse... I complained and an engineer was due to come out but instead of coming out he just rang and said its a known problem and he will just send a report to write it off as the cabinet had expanded..... I spoke to argos and did a deal and forfeited my guarantee for a big discount and fixed it myself
And the best part is the posters name is flourinated!
Nice, can use colgate to clean this.
Not any more I guess it's too late
I have had this cooker in black for the last 2 years now and for the price it’s a bargain. No complaints at all and works really well and cleans up lovely. Still looks like new, very happy with it
Whenever you choose a cooker, plan out in your head a how you would cook a Christmas dinner on it. This looks like it could easily handle one(y)
100cm (they are usually either 100cm or 90cm...our gap is 90cm unfortunately)
The code MDA10A takes £60 off
mine cancelled to, people ordering 5 at a time probably got their attention lol
Order cancelled, shame but it was a long-shot anyway
cracking price! shame it's gone back up now
I have the single oven version and it cost me just less than a grand so if anyone managed this then you have just committed a crime haha
Seems to show as £1,899 now so hopefully you don't all get charged that!
Don't buy it! I paid full price and had the same issue. The shelves wouldn't stay up. Very dangerous! I complained and the 2nd one delivered was the same. Customer service was dire and took 4 collection slots and waste of time booked off work before they eventually collected and refunded.
Be very wary with this model I have one and the oven shelves are ever so slightly too small and if you put anything of weight ( Medium chicken ) the shelf will collapse. I have tried contacting them but as I bought it from Argos warehouse ( £140 ) no one is interested in a remedy except for a refund upon return which is more trouble than it's worth. May try a bit of weld lol
Wish they did duel fuel where hobs were induction and oven gas. Haven't found one yet (annoyed) . Wonder why?
link not working
just ordered one. Great find (y)
Hi, can you advise on key differences between the 3? Thanks
There's a cream Belling SANDRINGHAM90DFT 90cm 5 Burners £804 @ AO eBay Code PRO10 ebay.co.uk/itm…255 Leisure CS90FMIRK 90cm 5 Burners A Dual Fuel Range Cooker Black £829, this looks much better on AO website ebay.co.uk/itm…579
People like you are the real mvp (y) Your reply is the type of information I pray for with any prospective purchase I research
My advice on cookers is to look carefully at how they are made and imagine yourself trying to clean them. Any seams where grease can collect or screwheads on the top. I have been very disappointed in the way cookers are made and as someone who does not buy extended warranties I would advise considering. My current rangemaster started to go wrong after the warranty expired. The door catch failed (google door catch rangemaster and you can see this is a common fault) the two piece knobs came unglued over the grill and the thermostats for the gas rings started failiing. In future I would just buy the cheapest and chuck away when it goes wrong or go for a catering model if you can spend more. See if you can get an extended warranty included. Good luck.
Its dropped in price again, so its £899.10 with the code
Correct... I have put £994 in the HUKD title, as "some" buyers, may have to pay for delivery up to £50 as its MASSIVE if they cannot wait for free delivery slot!
Just do not use the "curry's" one that pops up?? It's £944 all in, including the FREE delivery, which is anything from £20 - £45 a pop, depending on slot days and large appliance weekend rushes (y)
1049 less 104 is not 994 unless the 1049 shown inc their 50 voucher, I didn't log in to check till final stage
I too have the rangemaster 110, neither of the ovens will ignite (although hardly used - was my late mother's). Do you happen to remember where you got the parts? Can't seem to find much info online and the manual must have been lost many moons ago...!
Thanks for the tip, I will try this ASAP!
Try putting a caserol dish half full of water in when you burn off as well (open the door and let the steam out every 10 mins or so)
Think about delivery. They are very heavy and awkwardly shaped. Rangemaster will leave it on the pavement if they can't get it in your home.
I missed out on it last year. That's why i posted this deal and bought it straight away. Try again next year.
Sold out (annoyed)
is this any good ?? anybody after a years use ?
