Good price - nicely found ! Not sure why this is cold, nice quality backpack

Comparison between this and the standard £25-30 versions

andyb83

You'll never find this at £30. Cheapest is usually £55-60, so this is a good price.

j211

This version is much higher quality than the standard versions you can get for around £30, e.g. has metal and leather straps and more storage areas within the main section. Are £100+ on amazon and imo looks worth the extra 20 quid.

alasrati

Normal price for these is about £30. Can get them cheaper occasionally on Amazon.

Amazing quality product. Picked up a £50 Out of Office backpack for 21 after discount. Result!

charliemike

Nah, g*nt pouch is probably closer to the truth. PS. Not sure if it was necessary to partially censor as I don’t know the level of vulgarity of the word g*nt (as in the first 4 letters of the name Gunther).

Wicked666

Great - just bought £220 worth of stuff for £95 (after 6.5% quidco)

ssc1

Still looks better than the OP one IMO.

stethorn

It doesn’t, I posted the link to the one received above. It’s also old stock.

ssc1

Actually the one you recieve costs more.

Dave

Yep, same here.. I'm undecided whether I'm gonna keep or return as I'm not 100% sold on this look

Have had an Eastpak Padded Pakr for over 10 years. Think I got it for about a tenner from TK Maxx. Been round the world with it. Did not see may people with it here, but when in Kuala Lumpur a few years ago noticed that every single tourist had one.

Owned an Eastpak for the last 10 years I think. Bulletproof and I'll get another so long as they always come with the 30 year guarantee. You never know when they might turn into the next company who forgets quality and goes for more profit instead, like a Sports Direct brand!

I've had a cabin size Tranverz for about 6 years now and it's still in great condition and it holds so much more than you'd expect. Been wanting to buy one for the Mrs for a while but they're always so expensive. Luckily managed to get one of these trans4 from Amazon warehouse during black Friday and it turned out to be as good as new :) Definitely get one if you can find a good deal.

🔥 We fly out on holiday Thursday and our old Antler luggage wasn’t looking up to it so popped to local JL and snapped up a bargain. Albeit I spent £340 but would have been £680.

My dad's had his since 1967 and still as strong as ever. Voted hot

zonkkk

I got my first Eastpack back in 1996, still have it and use it. Still intact although looks a bit worn now.

rory_blandford

Amazing bags, i bought one for college 15 years ago and it's still going strong with daily use now. Heat from me!

NathanRoberts

Do you need to keep anything for the warrenty?

Cheapasnowt

I used the warranty as the straps of my rucksack had comeaway. They repaired it with straps of a different colour to the original. Bit of faff as i had to send it to Germany to be repaired- cost £10 to do so. Also it took about a month to be returned. In principle a good idea to give a lengthy warranty but a bit of a pain in practice.
