Just an update got mine today its brand new in un damaged box bargain at £60

As for scratching the straps, yup just got back from holiday and my clasp is ruined from climbing in and out of the pool.

I’m with you on the rose gold. For some reason the Casio range seems to have been dipped in the stuff lately, and I think it looks horrendous. A shame because generally I’m a big edifice and g shock fan.

Some of them are solar and automatic time, depends on the model of edifice.

Personally think it's looks cheap and nasty.... but each to their own.

Looks like a dashboard on a kids pedal car.

Please mark this pain as expired ((

I've been considering this watch for a while and watched the price come down, but do NOT need another watch! I was getting tempted, but I've decided not to buy another watch that needs a battery. It's solar/eco-drive only for me from now on, so resisted this.

I have one of these. Although I think the post is cheap and I've given it heat for that the dial isn't easy to read in outdoor conditions.

Gutted really want a nice looking watch and I think I would have gone for it at that price

Well it's not a breitling etc but I buy q watch because I like its looks, I have 2 Casio edifice and people have commented on how good they look, plus not had any issues with either, plus they are easier to change time date than my citizen eco drive lol

Really like the look but Casio just doesn't seem to be a great thing to tell your friends..? Might sound ignorant but not really a watch person. What are people's experiences?

Agreed. You need arm's like tree trunks to get away with wearing these.

Best looking watch in the range imo. I own several of the Bluetooth edifice’s and they are great.

I do really like the look of these but the size puts me off! Hot deal tho

Bluetooth seems like a gimmick to me. Phone finder feature: If you misplace your connected phone, push a button on the watch to sound an alarm on the phone.Global Time Sync: With Bluetooth connection to the phone, the watch can set itself to the correct time wherever you go.Phone finder will not work if your phone is over 30 ish metres away. Global time sync could be done using radio control (granted, not available in all countries but if you really needed that you'd buy one of those GPS Citizen watches)

Casio calculator with boxing game is as far as I was ever prepared to go :| Like even when Casio digital watches were socially acceptable which happened to coincide with my latter years in primary school to half way through my senior school era I was having none of it. There was plenty of options out there to avoid that minging digital craze, Timex when proper young eclipsed by Swatch as I marched in to teenagehood :D

Horrible? These calculator watches were great. My one had an invaders game.

Rather a Rolie, Breitling or Hublot if you ask me and yeah I suppose that is the brand snob in me should you wish to put it that way. Then again when you think Casio you think horrible cheap black plastic timepieces with built in calculator that all the un-cool kids had in school days And those who wore these back then wonder why they got bullied (skeptical)

This is a "smart" watch like an iceberg isn't. BT does not a smartwatch maketh. Ignoring this its actually a nice chrono watch if you like this style.

I said something along the lines of there's surely enough smart devices out there not to need your watch to be one too and it got deleted :/ How that was deemed off topic on not courteous I got no idea, saying what's wrong with a watch being a watch in thread about a watch is about as on topic as it can get.

Yep am glad I stuck with it and persevered, although I very nearly went for a Seiko diver that I came across at £135 I got the Edifice for £79.99 in the end as she took a tenner off as compensation for all the messing around I had, coupled that with the 10% off email for use instore and it was a no-brainer in the end..Great addition to my small collection. One of my friends couldn't believe I got it for that price as he had bought the same watch 4 months ago for £200

Wow that's good service! Good choice too, it's a great watch!

Had phone call this morning from Samuels, they had gone above and beyond and had sourced me a pristine unopened steel bracelet model, very nice indeed with the stand, paperwork and all the tags and protectors in place, great weight and feels really good on the wrist, agree with the steel bracelet model looking nicer than the silicon banded model, a good solid locking button clasp on the bracelet too..What a bargain...Thanks to the OP Silentplayer Took a little work but got there in the end! (excited)

Ordered this Edifice instore at Samuel's for delivery Saturday, email this morning saying its in for collection, that was quick..Went instore earlier to collect and opened the box up, good job I did as the watch was sitting in a heap on the floor of the box, no cushion, no wrapping, no limited edition stand, paperwork all missing.. Very poor service from a high street jewellers, even the assistants were appalled. (mad) Have reordered me another new one from another store, lets hope the next watch is pristine and brand new and not 2nd hand (annoyed)

Is this a no brainer at this price I also have my eye on a Wenger for £80 or another Edifice for £71 but its not a limited edition model like the Scuderia Torro Rosso watch here

1 Really, I can't believe how dumb I was; I could easily have had (and real Japanese ones - not Chinese replicas). Missed opportunities. Grrr, fuming!

I'm a time traveller, don't tell anyone!

Where did I say 100% accurate? Your watch isn't 100% accurate either. Statistically good quartz watches have +/- 0.02 seconds per day on average, I Googled it. Please enlighten me on what you do that requires such precision? I won't be happy with anything other than ebay bid snipping (ninja)

Likewise, except i'm not yet a grandad, just a dad...Guess I have some time to go before I need myself a watch (cheeky)

Bought this blue edifice just after Christmas for £107 and to be honest it’s my current favourite watch. Have quite a few watches, including a couple of automatics. I love automatic movements, but unless you wear them all the time they become a pain to set. So I find myself grabbing this Casio most days, prefer the look and operation of it to my much dearer Citizen Skyhawk to be honest, but each to their own

I haven't had to reset my Wave Ceptor once in 5 years. Resets every night to perfect time. I also own a cheap Casio quartz, it gains/loses seconds over time and that accumulates to quite large errors. There are plenty of cases on the internet that are easy to find to back this up. Yes you can buy very fancy quartzs that are more accurate, but that costs money. Believe it or not there are usage cases other than your own where utmost accuracy is important, and let's just say whipping out your mobile is not appropriate. Like it or not, your claim that quartz watches are 100% accurate is not true.

Sometimes just something different every now and again. I've a few edifice watches and other manufacturers (Seiko , citizen also), just depends on my mood what to wear. Sometimes if I'm on a site visit in and out of Comms cabinets I wear a cheaper watch to ensure I don't damage my favs, some metal, some leather and the Toro rosso rubber style watch.

And out of stock again :)

Back in stock (highfive)

I had to send mine back Negatives - too big (shirt sleeve wouldn't go over), too blingy for me (overly-polished surfaces), fingerprinty, rattly bracelet, cheap looking (a bit like a watch from a market stall IMHO), LCD displays not great indoors, poor lume (weak, and only on hands not the markers). Positives - good price, easy to read time, uber-accurate (but I'm not sure if I care that much), backlit, solar Good deal, but not for me. Free returns as well - bonus

Praying this comes back in it was a birthday treat to myself! Serves me right for being too slow I guess Will probably plump for the Citizen Eco-Drive offer instead
