Not very wise arguing with a driver whilst he/she is responsible for many people. Shame on you.

mrpaws

Just wondering? I'm considering a flight to Paris could there be passport problems?

cheapaschipsanddonuts

Isn't this a flixbus?

TJR

I had a terrible experience with a driver being racist and sexist. When I asked him to stop he threatened me. Flixbus refused to acknowledge my complaint. Also 3 hours late.

SCOUSEKEVIN

Thanks OP but overpriced, there are other sets showing on bottom of the eBay page for a Tenner with same contents as £25 one. If travelling abroad check the relevant legislation but bare minimum would need a suitable First Aid Kit.

OperateOnMe

lol, is that to stop drunk yellow vest protesting or encourage it?

Besford

Don't know why this is getting so much heat, especially at this price. Cheap tat with a probable licensing fee to the AA for the use of their name. RAC are even worse at prostituting their brand! It won't cover legal requirements in EU anyway: eg you'll need a 'gillet jaune' for every occupant (kept inside car) and breathaliser(s) to be legal in France. Possibly GB plate and beam deflectors too.

doppel_dage

Be nice if they threw one in with membership given the excessive charging

OperateOnMe

I wish they’d just release a full collection on the switch, they are made for handheld. I have the games on Ps2, PSP, Vita, PS3/4!!

I'd agree it's great on switch I got 5 again But all my other disgaea games are on playstation, all of them psp, vita, PS3 and PS4

westy90

Themadcow

It's voice acted in some games, and pretty much that (maybe "uh" instead of "a").

Themadcow

This does not compute :) Seriously, Disgaea games - great as they are on PS4, are just sooo at home on a handheld. I've played all of the games in the series on multiple platforms and the Vita versions of 1 and 4 are my favourites. I haven't yet started D5 on my Switch but it doesn't feel like all that long ago that I 'completed' it on PS4. On this deal, much as I love Disgaea 1 (PS2 and Vita versions) - I'm not sure I could stomach paying £30 for it again.

No login required when app is loaded directly as an APK. Traffic info and recent speed camera feature addition do not require login / account. Update whenever or never as you want (latest is not always greatest; ever tried reverting to a previous app version via Play Store?). Google Nav plus option to (pre)download maps to local device, although not needed if the re-purposed device has data, inc the free data as prev suggested.

fairytooth

TomTom Car Play version is coming soon hence Sygic is trying to sell you their stand alone version cheaply while they can.

doveman007

Wouldn't that (not sure what Google nav + maps means) require a Google account login to update the maps and obtain traffic information?

AndyRoyd

"...don’t want Google profiling your life...?" Cheapo used Android handset as a dedicated satnav with Google nav + maps sideloaded without Google account login = the only "profile" Google is seeing is some unidentified random profile that doesn't buy anything, doesn't do social media, doesn't speak to anyone, but does occasionally travel. Optional wifi+VPN, although seriously doubt a typical GMaps user would use in excess of the 200MB/month included with a freebie 3 Data Reward sim. Not aware of Google comparing (identical) location of devices to identify/profile users, but even that would require the users' primary mobile device to have GPS active and also actively relaying location anyway. Not aware of any augmented reality view via this near-zero-cost option. Each to their own. https://www.whistleout.com/CellPhones/Guides/How-Much-Data-Does-Google-Maps-Use https://www.three.co.uk/Free_SIM_MBB/Order

Glad you did. No, that’s the way they work. I’ve always received my orders from them the next day and then got the dispatch email in a day or two... They use a warehouse to send these out in the uk (reef outlet) I think and that’s why shipping is being handled differently and efficiently.

They always have lockers.... and reception will usually also look after stuff. I always stay in hostels. I’ve been in many in the UK.... in Austria, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland. (I’m not a youngster, by any means!!). They’re always friendly places.. often full of youngsters (whose presence can recharge your batteries with their enthusiasm)...but also many middle-aged and elderly folk.... and small families too. For me, personally, a hotel is a little self-indulgent.... a bit too much like being pampered in a world full of need. But that’s a personal view... and I respect other opinions on the subject. I’m seriously considering this as an exciting break. Taking my cameras. A photo-expedition!

Bloke called Adolf tried a similar tour in 1939... took him a lot longer and it all ended in tears. Seriously though, take sheets too as there are a lot of bed bug reports at hostels

He's talking about Amsterdam-London, not London-Amsterdam. On the return leg, passport control is done in Brussels and yes, it slows things down fairly substantially.

Good blog about Eurostar here: https://loco2.com/en-gb/blog/eurostar-faq-s

buglawton

Isn't Amsterdam-London the one wher you have to get off the train and file through passport control? Near 1 hour delay. Due to squabbling between the authorities in different countries, no passport control on train in return direction London-Amsterdam. That's what's put me off so far but eagerly awaiting news of an improvement.

London is a diverse and wonderful city, one of the greatest in the world. It has its problems, but it's hardly a cesspit destroyed by foreigners. All the shooting and knife crime is not committed by foreigners you daft thing (lol)
