After reading all the comments on this post, I came to the conclusion that Evian water is no better than tap water, except it is convenient and tastes good as I have very sensitive taste buds and do not like the taste of tap water. I therefore tried putting filtered water into the fridge to cool and I find that tastes no different to Evian water. I also put unfiltered tap water into the fridge to cool and I did not like the taste of that. Since positing this thread, I no longer drink Evian water but cooled filtered tap water. Saves me a fortune and efforts in having to go and buy Evian water from the shops :)
One born every minute applies here
I doubt there is any quantifiable difference, if there are any bugs in the tap water there wont be enough to harm you, more likely your body will combat the bugs and make you more resistant. I quite like chilled tap water, and don't really notice any difference with bottled water.
You are not wasting ur money.i take evian.i have tried spring water from greece turkey and france.the water is light .do u realise that when u drink it , u can literally hear it going down ur intestines.thats how light evian is.i was stayinv in corona greece .a small village where people only drink spring water.they are healthy people.evian has the same impact.however one mentioned on the transport etc.that i cannot deny.but the water is worth it for ur health.i am a health freak.i take 500ml firsf thing in the morning and i forgo expensive dining outside
i think Thames water is the exception rather than the rule. most of the country has plenty of reservoirs/spring/boreholes or river sources with nothing upstream. Thames water basically has the Thames, due to flat geography and expensive land prices.
