I bought that very monitor (AOC) for my brother in-law at the weekend for £78 from Amazon warehouse.

Seemed like it might have been a mistaken price match reduction, as Amazon's price has always been significantly higher.

Can't review the monitor as I've only had a few moments with it, but I will say that I wouldn't touch that Chinese seller.
They're shipping from China, so import fees are possible, their reviews are bad, and they're undercutting every seller on Amazon.

On top of that its got a 75hz so that allows for 15 more fps to be displayed if youve got the hardware to back it up. My only concerned with the AOC is that its being sold by a 3rd party seller. If you do order it keep an eye out for blemishes or anything that doesnt feel right.

Last time i asked they said i couldnt. Can only be redeemed at the gate of each attraction individually. The big tickets are already discounted so i doubt they would let you use the voucher for these. Online prices are discounted too and those vouchers are not valid for online purchase. I'm no expert on binos but mildly curious about them (I have Steiner 10x26mm Safari UltraSharp Binoculars and a cheapo Chinese "Panda" Monocular that I'm not afraid to lose...)

Here's some chatter about this specific model cloudynights.com/top…ry/
(comment here says, "They are very good. I like them a lot!
They balance so well that I won't need to buy a tripod for them even though I have rather shaky hands. I can keep them steady by holding them near the objectives and by resting my elbows on my knees. I just saw 3 moons from Jupiter. Stars are very colorful, much more so than with my Canon.
Much less flaring on bright objects too. A bit of purple around Jupiter but no big deal. Stars remain sharp until about 3/4 from the edge or so but again no big deal.
if they can keep their collimation, then they are really a great buy."
)

and cloudynights.com/top…ar/
(one comment says, "The Cavalry is a upgraded Skymaster with the same problems as the original, it loses alignment over time, it is however fully multicoated and claims to be water and fogproof and has a semi armor covering, the pair I used to do a side by side comparison with my regular Skymasters showed a slightly brighter image, however the scratches on the optical surfaces were a disapointment, its possible to do a conditional alignment on the Skymaster, done once it suprising how easy it is.")

The term "weekend warrior" made me chuckle

Wonder why this has got so cold? It's £77.99 from PicStop so maybe it's because it isn't a huge reduction, not sure. A few ebay sellers have them for £69.99, one seller £67.99 ebay.co.uk/itm…239

This is the real description.

Cavalry 15x70 Binocular

The rugged Cavalry Series is an outdoor binocular designed for hunters, boaters, law enforcement and military personnel. Engineered to withstand the elements, Cavalry is fully waterproof and nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging. The housing is protected by durable rubber armor, making the binoculars easy to grip while protecting them from hard use. The olive drab colour offers concealment in the field.

As an optical instrument, Cavalry offers professional features including high-grade BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics for high light transmission. With large 70 mm objective lenses, the Cavalry 15x70 is a useful tool for anyone out in the field or on the water.

That is bizarre!

Thought they might have relented as they're ditching all of PYO at the end of the month but went back to my PYO Android App and it was NOT offered as an item to add, or rather add back as it got de-added by them!

Using my PC I logged into my PYO's and guess what your tip worked - it IS still available there.

So having been forcibly "unpicked" via my Android App last week, I have now been able to add it back again on my PC.
AND it's showing as one of my 10 on the Android App.
Hopefully it'll still be there for Sunday's shop and not removed... and freezer cabinet has stock too
Thanks addyday! Fingers crossed...

The Collection palette (blonde or brunette!) is pretty good.. more like an eyeshadow and comes in 3 shades in each palette. Stays put all day easily.
I use the £1 Primark ones, also soft and in 3 shades (used to be ..) haven't bought new in ages !
I found the Makeup Gallery items very poor, I bought some on a whim when there were a few items 2 for £1 in my stores.

Commented about it on the MSE Poundland thread (which I contribute to pretty regularly), back in September forums.moneysavingexpert.com/sho…447

In this store they have a box of Makeup Gallery items "2 For £1" (maybe discontinuing the range in there? Seems to be still selling in city centre stores) - mostly solo eyeshadows but I got a Blue Liquid Eyeliner (optimistically hoping it would look quite dark) and a Brown Lip Liner.

I haven't bought any MUG (harhar) items at all so it was my chance to test, as well. The liquid eyeliner has a brush (a good thing - as I hate the plastic slithers on cheapie eyeliners) but wow, it goes on STREAKY. You have to wait for each coat to dry to try and fill in the gaps - it takes up extra time, and it's pretty annoying. Definitely wouldn't buy again, even at 50p.

The lipliner was quite "hard" and it took a few outlines around my lips to see anything. So, also a dud.

If those two are examples of what Makeup Gallery have to offer, I won't be buying - or, maybe I'm just really unlucky?

I tried the Eyeliner in the Argyle Street store, a few weeks later (turns out they also had many items "2 For £1"), and updated:

Edit 27th Sept: I fished out an MUG Eyeliner pencil from within the box, tested it on the back of my hand, again - same as the Lip Liner - too hard and not well-pigmented.

This will be store specific but worth a look if your passing a wilko. There was Nivea Men Stubble Moisturing gel for 10p.
Do creams really keep my eyes from wrinkling? I don't know for sure but I have no wrinkle lines around my eyes and I've been using the Made from Earth Vitamin Firming Serum for over 5 years so maybe it has something to do with it.

This bottle lasts about 2 months because you only need a tiny bit for each eye. It does not make my eyes water or sting.
It's because Nivea have changed their packaging from white to blue. Our local Tesco did a major clearance in October one evening, several different items from the Q10 range was down to 16p, including the Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Energy Serum which usually retails around £12 - needless to say we stocked up!
