Appears to have been split up. Blaupaunkt still around in the I.C.E. market but TV's and may be other items are made by UMC who also make Sharp TV's. Grundig another name being devalued.
Who owns the Blaupaunkt brand these days? Whoever it is they are doing a good job in de-valuing it. Back in the day they were a premium Hi-Fi brand, now they reduced to peddling cheap pedestal fans.
Summer 2020 is on its way
Summer is going ...away
Woo Hoo........ Here comes the sun........
Similar story all over the UK for most of the week, heatwave right? Except perhaps Scotland. :D
Good for you guys (y)
Even though we won't see summer for another year now, The noise fans make me sleepy, cheers OP! (y)
This fan is useless. Cant even lift an A4 piece of paper right in front on it, with the third (highest) speed setting.
Yeah I agree airflow is weak but it is OK for the office if you're next to it (like I am) For £20 its OK but not worth more than that
Well, just for a bit of feedback it has now arrived: Unfortunately, the reports that the air flow is weak are completely true. At about 50cm away there is some breeze but any further it's barely perceivable! Not a very useful item but my son's enjoyed playing with it as a toy so for £20 (no customs (y) ) it's an OK buy.
Sample size not big enough
The normal noise range for modern fridge freezers is 32-47 dB. Anything quieter than 40 dB is considered to be a quiet model, especially as this is the noise level for libraries! http://www.industrialnoisecontrol.com/comparative-noise-examples.htm
Yeah mine has gone funny round the edges now. Still they are only cheap to replace, if I wasn't moving I'd just buy a new one.
I'm wary of putting mine in the dishwasher as the dishwasher tablets I normally use eat through uncoated aluminium. I think it is the oxygen bleach.
Yeah I put the mesh through the dishwasher every few months they get grime after a while.
You should use ducting or a filter, but you can pick up suitable ducting or a ducting kit as you prefer from a diy store.
Probably a lot of people have cooker hoods fitted with activated carbon filters that don't do anything, as they are completely saturated and haven't been replaced in years. :D If I hadn't used ducting, I think mine recommended new carbon filters every 3 - 4 months. The mesh filters will still capture some of the grease though.
Thanks for sharing. There were lots available at the Crawley store too. I also noticed RT sponges RTC at 20p (shock) but all were oos.
Where? In store on online?
I bought one yesterday with same price :D
I’m sitting in front of one right now bought from Tesco Ipswich, for 8 quid you can’t go wrong.(y)
They look ok for 8 notes. (y)
Various car air fresheners 40p, 25p each.
Got my first load of vocuhers today. I say load because they send you £125 worth in a £100 and then 5x£5. Interesting they work on my sisters john lewis account and designed to be stackable. Since i bought two, i can in theory use it on a £250 purchase.
Think end of October.
Im cool, because I have this dyson fan. I bought two actually.
I bought mine on the 8th. My sister, ahem, a few days later. It’s 40 days after from date of purchase I guess.
Havent checked when its valid too. Is it?
These come under many names but they are made in the same manufacturing plant. Strangely enough they are one of the quietest under £40 - at low speeds - and I can actually sleep with it on (which can't be said for the 2 fans I bought for over £40 that sounded like they were going to take off on low) Just make sure you put it together well as they aren't very study and don't over tighten the plastic nuts (they will come loose so expect to tighten them every now and then) Also make sure the fan blade is located inside the notch on the spindle pin when you tighten it up or it will not be balanced (and it will shake itself loose)
Oypla one for a quid more is pretty good
I had 2 of these, both very poorly made. Had to to return them. They vibranted and got louder over time, they have Sharpe edges, my kid got hurt due to them. I would not recommend them.
Was on gearbest app 2 days back
Ps that handheld one is back at $9.29
£18.99 on eBay I recall - nearly got one when handheld one sold out
Did I? (annoyed) (y)
It's not actually wickes It's homebase
does it blow cold
Can you get me one ? Cheers
Their website can't even find the product (cheeky) , if any one can confirm if this national and save a wild geese chase?
It's a beast.
Important T&C: Can I get more than one gift card? There are two promotions running, one in Home and Fashion, another in Electricals. If you participate in both offers, you can claim one gift card per offer, per customer.
Yeah bring on the revolution! (fan joke here)
Keep an eye on the heat of the extension lead if its wound up, they can overheat and catch fire.
Yes the display of conspicuous wealth is so 80s. I thought we'd moved on. Clearly not, and Dyson is reaping the rewards.
This is only suitable for small rooms it seems. Better spending on the £340 price matched model. Lucky I forgot to buy this. Waiting on JL to honour price match
Mine arrived a couple of days ago. It's absolute bobbins. Feels really cheap, plasticy and incredibly lightweight - I thought it needed batteries but nope, it's just tat. No mention of Xiaomi or Youpin on the box, fan or instructions either so I feel we've been had.
Its no pocket fan, it's chunky. perhaps one for the backpage or handbag at best.
Haha! You guys are funny XD
I'll get your coat
Never seen one with plastic stand
Just got ours from CPCWhite metal legs and standI was hoping for plastic , oh well
Were they the white plastic 16" ones though? My store had a choice of 2 - the metal one for £17.50 (this one) or the white plastic 16" at £15 (originally £30). Decided the metal one looked nicer for an extra £2.50 :)
Nope so it won't rust when it's in the shed or loft for most the year
Not metal is it
Damn, ordered one before the hukd post 👿 Some assembly is required... the nuts and bolts were all loose in the bottom of the box ! Shift plenty of air, even on "1" and oscillates quietly... so we're set for the next heatwave (if it lasts that long, it is quite chineesy)
I fully agree with this
nice, even better... I gave up after trying 01 to 02 and getting a result....this month's discounts seem to use 07 for the discount but these others do exist. I see the Checknow site is back up and running again.
what's the watt is what he's asking I think, at least I think that's what, from what I can tell. what what eh?
(lol) (lol) (lol) (lol)
too late. think most of us have died already from the heatwave lol
Free click and collect
just put this together and works well. All you would expect from a fan tbh. Feels a little bit flimsier than my Argos one but then thatwas twice the price and having it more lightweight comes in handy for moving round the house.
Thanks, bought from Wickes.
Similar in Wickes or risk arriving damaged.
Oypla website was blocked by my Kaspersky, when trying to pay. Threat: risk of data loss.
Cool story bro
I collected mine yesterday, last in stock in Sutton-in-Ashfield click and collect. Brilliant fan!
This has gone hot, obviously faulty..
