You have definitely earned those beer!!!

alcopop

Lucky you, there wasn't any left other than on other shelves which I spotted. Was only 4.3 mile walk there. Got train most of the way back.

cannrobe

Bought a mix of all sorts of things i liked the look of.....15 bottles and cans in total, with 6 of those being Barneys Marshmallow Milk Stout (there were 9 bottles of these left). Most of the beer festival bottles/cans were in the once it's gone sections in my local. One of the Barneys Marshmallow Milk Stout is currently sat in the freezer to cool down quicker (y)

alcopop

Well, we, it wasn't. No sign of beer festival in store. Got about two cans. About hour and half walk over, got train most way back. Just to walk last bit home. Managed to get 1 bottle of Joker IPA, 1 can Talking head American Pale Ale, 1 can Loch Lomond Lost in Mosaic and 2 cans Stewart Brewing Neipa.

cannrobe

I'll be checking mine tonight, but based on 3gees comment, i guess they are not available in every store, but it sounds like great exercise opportunity (y)

SirMaximusTheThird: Not at all - we’re in Milton Keynes which is about 2hrs 30min drive from Jodrell Bank Yeah I was a bit disappointed with the line up too.. Was hoping for Public Service Broadcasting, as they’ve played twice & I managed to miss them both times! Yes we were hoping for Public Service Broadcasting too. They seemed quite late announcing this year's lineup but at least we now know for 2021. We booked for last year as soon as they announced Kraftwerk in November the previous year. Kraftwerk at Jodrell Bank on the actual 50th moon landing anniversary? Didn't care how much it cost!

Just enjoy having a fabulous Elise then! Presumably it came with a proper kit from Lotus though, not a £2 can from Poundland.

hoverdonkey

I don't have the luxury of a spare - can't fit one in an Elise :D

Besford

Treat this stuff as an absolute last resort which MAY get you sorted in a genuine emergency (but often won't). To try it in any other circumstances will probably lead to regret, either at the time or later. Yes, I do have a can of (better) stuff in the boot but I really hope I'm never so desperate that I need to use it. I paid a bit extra (~£100) for a proper spare tyre too and I check it from time to time to be sure it'll work if I ever need it. Worse than that: how many numpties are driving around after a can of this did seem to work for them so they're not getting a safe repair/replacement? Probably the sort of people who'll fit 'part worn' tyres with no idea of their history. If you can't run a car safely please find another way of getting around!

hoverdonkey

Anyone know how long these things last? I got one with my car in 2007...

hoverdonkey

Glad you mentioned that... was just considering it... thanks!

Is there anybody who doesn't have so may games on steam they'll never play that they need demos lol

As well as: ABUSE Refunds are designed to remove the risk from purchasing titles on Steam—not as a way to get free games. If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you.

dicey69

Why???? In the 40 years of Donnington/ Monsters of Rock/ Download, last years lineup was by a country mile the worst yet. On a positive note though, from the amount of positive votes this post has gotten, its good to see that despite Simon Cowells best efforts there is still a large cohort of people who appreciate music that isn't manufactured girl/ boy band tripe. No worries, was really just letting everyone know there was free delivery at Mountain Warehouse, other tent posts have had many positive feedback. My little girl will be so pleased with this idea for lockdown for a low cost, good reviews on the website :)

MikeBeaver

Well, I didn't :-p Having had a "disposable" pop up tent for around 10 years, which someone gifted me, I went to look at this one, saw there were better ones and grabbed a 6 man tent wheich was reduced to £125, with the code "BLOOM" that brought it down to 99.99, and then went through TCB, for a potential 6.something % cash back. But thanks to the OP, and the code poster, I've got a new tent on the way, not this tiny little thing, but a proper upgrade from a pop up :-p

bobthewibble

That's good to know that the email might work, thanks. Yes, I know this one isn't a subscription but I thought it worth flagging up. I now remember people complaining about it in the past, apparently you used to be able to unsubscribe online but they removed the facility in what must only be a cynical business move. That alone would be fine if they still had the capacity to answer phones. Apparently they don't. Also, two out of the eight that arrived were pineapple flavoured. That alone would get me unsubscribing. (annoyed)

fisiksguy

Sounds very frustrating. others have said you can cancel subs via email. This deal isn't a subscription though

bobthewibble

What's most annoying with these guys is you can't cancel your subscription online! They make you call them, only to get a message saying 'Due to Coronavirus we can't answer your call' and boot you off. I've changed my card details to a prepay with no money on it and emailed them to cancel. Just ridiculous.

sysenblaze

When you add to basket and then move focus from the beer52 tab they alternate the title of the page to "Hey you / Don't forget your beer!"...talk about annoying.
