A neighbour told me about the annual passes the other day, they are well worth it if you live close enough. £100 for an adult and £75 for a child. She said they go once or twice a week in the school holidays. Link https://www.longleat.co.uk/ticket/annual-pass

We've been to a few over the last 6 or so years. They are superb.

Went last year and this is fantastic. I used clubcard vouchers which I assume is still better value?

Great find! These tickets sell out very quickly and I, for one, think it's a good heads up for people interested. (y) (popcorn)

Yes, but there is no "deal" here. You've just posted a link to the BFI Film Festival website to look for normal priced tickets. There's no saving to be had, so it isn't a deal.

Don't worry if tha not bothered about going, tickets for the public are very limited and the sale alert was only announced today.

Fair enough, they're not OCS, but I reckon they're just as relevant as Charlatans and Ash.

I'm pretty sure they're talking more about when you're at the venue around customers who paid full price. And I wouldn't really class HUKD as social media, it's a deals website for things exactly like this.

I'm sure that you were only wanting to share this deal to help out others to see some good bands for only a few pounds. When I got the email about this the other day from SFF I bought a ticket straight away but I wouldn't share it on a site like this. It's true though as you say that if it wasn't for people talking about these kind of deals I wouldn't have heard of SFF in the first place. By the way I was also offered tickets to this event (and at others venues as well) via another ticketing service that I am a member of. I'm assuming that sales weren't great across the board, it's like the event could have done with one of the more enduring "Britpop" bands to headline it, no offence to Cast or Dodgy but they aren't an Ash, Charlatans or Ocean Colour Scene who would have a more popular back catalogue to sell tickets.

Love cast

Hmmm but I only found out about showfilm because someone posted a similar thing for free tickets previously. If nobody ever shared these deals they would have no members. I would take that as don't be a di@k and show off to people who paid full price for the tickets I'll expire this as I don't want to upset folk though Also.. the event are clearly desperate to get rid of these tickets and make money on the bars, hence the 2 for 1 ticket offers, competition give aways and now this. By not sharing this the people who organised it are probably gonna lose money with the tickets going to waste

Lidl Craft Beer Festival from Thurs 15th Aug - various beers from £1.19

Get dealGet deal

I think it was only on for one week

Is this still on? Thinking of stocking up for the bank hol weekend

Missing the point (not sure if it was deliberate). Hopped up beers such as IPA’s need to be chilled or stored in a cool place to protect from hop fade (beer losing its hoppy taste). Thus such beers will taste worse if they have spent a few weeks on a warm supermarket shelf.

Vocation's Love & Hate (not on this list I know) is one of the best IPAs widely available in supermarkets IMO. At £3/can it's a bargain for the quality of the beer too.

Festival Trolley £64.95 including delivery @ Boutique Camping was £99

True. I would guess a major demographic for this trolley is for people who will be wheeling kids around in it. For that, it might be superior.

There's bound to be a bunch of people who attend festivals who consider that level of mud part of an authentic experience. I suspect the majority don't but I think it's best to be slightly prepared just in case. If you look at the differences between the Boutique Camping trolley and the Amazon trolley you can sort of tell which was designed by someone who has used a trolley and which was designed by someone who has seen trolleys used at festivals. The Amazon one folds down to fit in a car. The Boutique Camping one doesn't. The Amazon one has a far better shaped handle. The interior of the Amazon one is larger and more uniform in shape and the Amazon one has the removable easy wash tarpaulin interior to protect your belongings. The Boutique Camping one looks retro.

I’ve got a decent two wheel camping trolley and it has done about 12 festivals. Buy cheap and you buy twice!

That might be the answer but if you are pulling this through 30cm of mud then I think you’ve got bigger problems!

Worked on the gate and saw many a cheap tolley disintegrate after first use. If you're getting one get good quality otherwise you're wasting money and you'll still carry yourstuff anyway.

Again, not sure I buy this for fish in a country with Bangladesh's geograpgy (eggs and chicken, certainly).

For about 80% of population, the Bangladeshi diet is low in fish due to the high cost of fishes, this goes same for eggs, chicken, etc

Marmite is vegan. However, if you are vegan because of the animal rights side of things, you should take into consideration that it is made by Unilever and they are indirectly involved in animal testing. Most of the main supermarkets do a generic brand, all of which taste no different. https://ethicalelephant.com/list-unilever-brands-may-test-animals/

Thanks for the information. I am going with a young family so will not be out on the ale in the city then but will have some back at base as we are staying at Haven Seaton Sands so might have a couple in the bar there or in the van. We have friends in Edinburgh so will be visiting them and discovering Scotland as much as we can but have the Haven to fall back on if the weather is not good etc.

Here's some supermarket prices from Tesco in Edinburgh

There is a minimum pricing policy and you wont get multi offers. Rough guide would be about a pound a can for a 500ml can at 4% so your Fosters/Tennants/Carling. Craft beer is pretty much the same as elsewhere as it's always more expensive than the minimum. You will however get stung with pricey beers in bars around the festival but that's just Edinburgh!

General question - I am going to Edinburgh for a week for the fringe in a couple of weeks. Is beer more expensive up there as always see offer not available in Scotland etc? Just wondering if it's worth me bringing my own up rather than I would just nip to a supermarket and grab some while I am up there? I bet these will be gone by the time I get up there on the 16th.

Thanks, will give that a try.

The inner bedrooms are sewn in, the outer groundsheet for the living/dining area is not and clips on and attaches via velcro to the living space. maybe I did it wrong but there was a gap between the bottom of the door and the groundsheet. The door has a window I can unzip with a net mesh you can use. Hope that helps.

Still a couple of these in my local Tesco’s which I think would suit us for trying out camping! Can anyone confirm if the whole groundsheet is sewn in or just the inner sleeping area and if there is any mesh on the outer and stepping areas doors to help keep the besties out! Thanks

I went camping with this at the weekend on the Gower, very happy with it. Held up well in very strong winds when other tents were blowing away or collapsing. We had a few hours of moderate rain, not a n extreme amount but enough..the tent stayed bone dry inside. Again Very happy. We slept 2 adults and 2 children in it comfortably with a good size living space for eating and playing games in bad weather. Even had my father in law sleeping in the living space for 1 night. There's enough room for 6 people on single beds but it's very tight. Fits 4-5 people comfortably though. Hope this helps

6 man is now only £45.

I am looking for an answer to that question as well.

I saw many more robust trollies than this abandoned. But to clear I Was replying on the basis of “festival trolly” label. For other less taxing usage this might be fine...

It looks identical to the one in Home Bargains, but that's got 25kg limit and costs £5.99.

I agree... people were lucky at Glastonbury this year with the weather. If it had been wet underfoot as well, loads of the trolleys I saw would have been destroyed! What you can fit on one of these would be a lot easier in a rucksack. Having said all that, no other festival will have the same distances you need to travel at the big G...
