It’s true that the prices go up astronomically for the Air Festival as I’ve been before and that’s just the hotels. Imagine Travelodge costing nearly £200/night and it becomes eye-watering even if you are an enthusiast. :|

Yeah ive seen it mentioned on posters etc.We are in Bournemouth and Boscombe quite regularly throughout the year either for the day or two, although with the price hikes because of whats been going on it cant be justified and has put us off a few times already.

Okey Dokey. (y)

Feel free to spend your money with local Businesses and surrounding small towns when attending this festival - as you know nothing is actually free…locals pay for it as many sponsors by local businesses and council!

That’s a real shame, sorry to hear that. I’d have thought that a festival featuring music like this would have had a nice atmosphere, what a pity that it’s being spoilt like that.

Last time I went to this festival I was also racially and physically abused by several individuals. This seems to be a common trend with this festival. I for one will not be returning.

I simply suggested that “East Asian” can be considered by some to be a better phase to use to describe somebody’s ethnicity rather than “Oriental”. It seems like you are just looking for an argument here to be honest.

Oh dear, here comes the clueless pc brigade. Oriental is fine, I don't know anyone who uses the term East Asian. Stop being an eggshell. I blame the pathetic anti white racist bbc. All racism is wrong, no matter what colour you are. In fact calling white people white racist as they ate bloody white. (annoyed)

Yep, and still making music

hosted by local hero Paul Ainsworth? is this event in Southampton?

Couldn’t pay me enough to sit through Sophie Ellis Bexter!

Think you need to view the website - live music head lining Sophie Ellis Bexter, Soul 2 Soul, Jaguar Skills and more plus - great chefs demonstrating such as Michelin star Paul Ainsworth, Valentine Warner, Michael Caines and more in a great Cornish location near the beach, if the sun shine's can't think of anywhere else I would rather be for less than £40 a day !

How much? Surely that's a typo. 11.50 would be more appropriate. Nobody will pay 115 pounds to watch a chef do some cooking and not even get a meal out of it.
