Really good price but heads up this is on game pass for PC atm. Might be worth the £1 trial.

Wolfenstein on PC pass too. Im happier now 8)

drewbles82

Same, was getting through that first one though that annoyed me. Trying to do the State of decay 2 one, I'm terrible at these games and haven't come across a jugg yet, think I might skip this one.

stingersplash

They fixed the requirement for flappy goat in that apparently you need to beat your best score. Since I hadn't played it getting a low score was easy. But if you got the achievement for scoring 10 you are in trouble.

SVRich

I have just had a notification from the app that does indeed say 14th Feb,

drewbles82

That flappy one was annoying, took me a while. Superhot I might leave till next week as got the 4 achievements one and you have to finish the game to get Endless mode so guessing there are a few achievements for that. No idea what ghost kills are on Sniper Elite 4 but its downloading. State of decay 2, barely played but guessing Juggs are hard to kill.

Remember that the additional "day one edition" items are codes so probably won't be in the box. This is just a normal FFXV game.

I imagine it runs like hell on console doesn't it? I have a Samsung NVME and loading still takes ages on PC so must be terrible on console

FierceVinegar

yeah its dumb how you have to pay extra for stuff like being able to go to a new dungeon and drive your boat, when the game is pretty barren and unfinished to begin with, i already beat it on pc but i wanted to platinum it on ps4 and just screw around

yomanation

Very disappointing Final Fantasy, but I wasn't expecting much after XIII which was also disappointing. It is an improvement at least, so the next one might turn out pretty good.

Good for the price but Steam version has annoying micro stutters constantly rewgardless system specs. Only solution is to downgrade to version 1.25 and miss out on certain content. So if anyone considers the purchase check refund policy and biew Steam discussions area before hand.

Not played a final fantasy after ff9 What's happening?

mrmeeseeks

£5.65 is totally worth it for my favourite part of this game: right at the very beginning when you load it up and it hangs you on the title screen with the BEAUTIFUL music (somnus instrumental) while it takes half an hour to install to the hard drive! The rest of the game was entertaining if totally bland story wise and completely far removed from what I consider to be a ‘Final Fantasy’ experience. That menu music though.....

Thanks having plyed FFXV I had an idea whay you talking abouy when you said the open world is boring. But wanted to know the games in the genre that you played and enjoyed. Cheers.

Blaat_blaat

I still like 7 and 8 played both of them multiple times but 9 i never found it memorable so that kept me from going back to that game

Blaat_blaat

The witcher 3, fallout 3 and 4, GTA V, AC V, AC oddessy, AC origin, Zelda BOTW, Skyim, spiderman, far cry 5, DA: I. There so many open world games this one is just empty, sidequest were all just go kill or collect no real story to them. The world never felt alive the relationship between the characters was great no complaining there but they could have just made it a linear game. There is a massive lack of dungeons and stuff to do generally in the FFXV. To everybody there opinion i had just hoped after seeing the movie the game would be as grand but it didn't feel that way to me at all.

dbibby1988

I bought this from the playstation store when it had a pricing error. Never played it. I find it hard to play final fantasy games now. I used to love playing 8..9..10 but going back to them is a chore.

Heat added. I uninstalled the game around about 180gb's worth after finding out all the extra content beyond the Royal Edition was to be scrapped. Then a matter of weeks later the Ardyn Episode released on Steam lol. Not worth reinstalling for a small dlc :( would have gladly paid full price before-hand.

Remember when the Day One editions were something you sought out? With this game more than any other the meaning of Day One edition morphed from “exclusive for eager fans” to “Got it way too early”

I'm after the Royal Edition for the PS4 too. But nowhere seems to be selling it.

Ardour

Bought this on release and Platnium'd it. Definitely one of the weaker FF games but I still had a lot of fun with it. Gonna wait for a good price on the Royal Edition before I play it again.

Completely agree. I think they messed up but still have an absolute diamond on there hand. If they use these characters and push on with another storyline, then include the battle system in FF7 remake with slight editions, we could indeed have something really amazing.

Chuggee

3570K is a bit old now, this game is CPU intensive.

Claudio_Fernandes

i hav e the same pc but i7 runs gret at 1440p around 40/60s

Spectral

Too early to be sure but from the game play footage from E3, if this game had been given the same care to the battle system as it appears the FF7 remake is getting, it would have been something special.

Gom8z

Almost 50% reduction of a price is a hot deal. My personal opinion to some is that this game can be a little bit boring. The story line has potential but whether it be to so many struggles and arguments they had behind the scenes, it really lets itself down (in my opinion and quite a huge fan base). Also the fighting becomes a bit repetitive, flash out, heal, flash in, slash, repeat etc etc. Yes it looks cool but was hoping for something more from it i guess. A great thing about the game is just the open world roaming, I absolutely loved that part of it, finding all the old FF music that you can play while auto piloting around the world is awesome and obviously the game is stunning. But just something to think about before you buy. Also if you do buy it, there is an anime movie you should watch before playing the game (Someone else might remember the name).
