FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION £23.44 @ Steam

Found 12th AprFound 12th Apr
pretty low price for the windows version of the game, this is directly from the steam store which may also please some.
spaldini

For those wondering if their PCs will run it, there's a playable demo on the Steam store page

Aleksandr_Cepurnych

Because ps4 and xbox have option to season pass. F.e assassins creed is better with season pass because have got two expansions already, it will be the same with ff 15 in the future

Aleksandr_Cepurnych

Go on steam rewievs and there are all answers

Mariusmssj

Are you sure it lags and has lots of bugs???

Karmazyn83

It includes all DLCs !

Get yourself Final Fantasy XV on Steam from GreenManGaming using the coupon code APRIL20. Of course this isn't just limited to FFXV! Everything (but Far Cry 5)!
Booya8

I got bored of this game way too fast.

ReeceBob

"Of course this isn't just limited to FFXV! Everything (but Far Cry 5)!" A quite a few things actually.

carsick77

Juts finished the main game on PC (quite a way in on the side quests too), done about 30 hours so far. It is completely different to other FF games but I have enjoyed it. I agree with what a lot say about the story line not being great (in comparison to others in the series). Haven't played MP yet and only started one of the DLC's for an hour or so.

elchery

The game will still be getting extra DLC during 2019. If you´re getting this hoping for a complete edition of the game, you´re better off waiting

Zeipher

Geez, it was less than this prior to release. I'll wait.

Ah that's a shame, it was in stock earlier. Still worth debating if you're in it for the quick story or the long run. Then again the amount someone's willing to spend can change easily. Buying the expansions might be more appealing some months in.

This 'Day one edition' is getting ridiculous now.

Heat, but I would just like to point out for anyone wondering. The royal edition which is going for an extra £8 on Game Collection, comes with the £19.99 Season Pass and £11.99 Royal Edition Extras Upgrade for those with the base game.

Dantonir

Tempting, but the knowledge that the extra content is provided as one use codes and that there's another season's worth of content coming this year makes it less so. I have sneaky suspicion I'd buy this, never get around to playing it, then buy the complete version next year because it's cheaper than buying the second season pass. Then wonder why I have bought 3 discs for the same game, all with only the base content included.

kirby2096

Is it worth getting this over the FFXV Royal Pack if I already bought the game and season pass at launch?

TonySquared

Came late to the party on this one and only just started playing... on chapter 3 - 60 hours in and level 90... this I will just mosey on into the rest of the game now (lol)

Game on

DQ111111

I don't know tbh, I purchased dark souls for the ps3 when it first came out, but the game was too hard for me! I wasn't used to the constant 'dying' and having to start over again and again and again.... I enjoy challenges , but not to the level where the challenge becomes frustrating and makes me wanna smash my console up lol. Maybe I was a little young then and didn't appreciate it as much. However, nioh is fast paced , I love the setting and I find it to be rather smooth gameplay-wise. I also purchased bloodborne goty and didn't have the patience with that either so sold it after a couple of days. I may give it another shot because I felt the same with nioh in the opening rounds - but this time I set a goal for myself and said that I would stick with the game at least up until the 2nd level. Kinda just grew on me after that so hoping bloodborne will too. I might even go back to the souls series if I get through bloodborne. Only time will tell.

johnboylan12

How is How is Nioh different than Dark Souls? I also didn't like the latter.

DQ111111

That £12.49 Argos nioh deal was one of the best purchases I made. Despite hating the souls series (not really hating - but I sucked pretty bad) , I am really enjoying nioh. I'll give bloodborne a go too when I get around to it.

KayinAmoh

It's your choice, of course, but you're missing out on a great and lengthy game. The game's been continually improved since launch, it's true, but coming to it half a year after release felt in no way like a cash grab. The DLC was never mandatory to enjoy the story (I liked it fine, at least since they fixed Chapter 13 which is when I played it through), and is included in this release already anyway. No matter what they add to it later, the current core is a good one.

liltman

Square have lost their touch long ago, that and every gaming company these days do it. They obviosuly purposely plan to make DLC from the start so they can make more money. It's shocking really but everyone seems to be ok with it lol. I've never once purposely bought DLC unless I bought the game late and it was already included. or a pre order bonus (but they are usually just silly items or skins). This game though, this game should of had...and I try to say this without laughing, another 6months to a year before it released. It's an amazing game but it could of been so much better.

Lucifer_UK

I appreciate your response, but in all honesty I have seen the game industry turn into profit hungry machines who churn DLC after producing a terrible and limited main game... I dont agree with a subscription model - but I also don't agree with a game built around DLC. These companies don;t know what gaming is about hence why so many fold year on year. I will give this a miss sadly.

MadonnaProject

No but you might as well do. There were 3 dlc's released after the game came out on the consoles. However wen released the game's storyline was largely incomplete with huge holes and inconsistencies. However since then the developers have worked quite a bit to put in story cutscenes and made other changes in levels. In some cases levels were copletely overhauled. Strangely enough these days gamers see this as a "good" thing, however in reality it is a very shady practice. Also, you would need to buy the season pass to get some smaller dlc bits. In addition to the "season pass" there is now the "royal edition dlc" which basically ads a whole new ending to the game after the base game ending so without it you miss the storyline. The good thing is all of this is included in this game. However, there are at least 3 new dlc's planned. At the moment no one knows if these will be sold separately or part of the second season pass. How we got to the stage of two season passes for one game is beyond me but this game is far from finished even right now.

Resolution is irrelevant. Ignore every mention of 4K in the promo material; it's just idiot marketing being.... well idiotic. If you want the highest quality textures, then yes you'll be looking at a large download. Though you'll need a really beefy graphics card to run it at a desirable framerate. So mixmixi cannot inform HUKD members that a popular franchise has its first episode is free which was previously 99p? Typically they charge for he first episode and then at some point in time it will be made available for free, therefore it is a price a drop and therefore a deal.

Very true, they are con artists

No need for cynicism, that's the exact business model being employed here. It's not uncommon, Telltale have used it for almost every game they've put out.

Seems to be the sale price for all other FF games and the XBONE version is ~£10'ish now, so the PC versions of late release games normally drop quite quickly. Guessing this is due to fans of the series buying into the console version and the PC sales being lackluster??? Sooooooo many games in my backlog in any case ... won't harm to wait :)

Thanks, ill give it ago on the PC. One of the things that put me off on the Xbox was purely the load times, made the game feel dull. Hopefully of a half decent PC it will feel a little more fluid. (Although looking at the spec requirments, that's a maybe!)

sadforyou

Had this on the PS4 and the load times on that were very long. Putting this on a SSD is probably a good idea

luketelfer

I’m looking now, I got a spare m2 ssd slot on my laptop so need to decide if to pay £120 for a 512gb internal one or get a external one which will be cheaper and more storage

Jesse148

I concur with the other comments. I use an SSD as my main drive with a USB 3.0 external HDD and the performance is completely fine with games on the external, the only downside being load times.

I’m sure I read somewhere that they initially announced you’ll be able to upgrade to Royal for $19.99 - hence not necessarily more expensive if that’s the case. Though Square Enix then said that prices weren’t confirmed yet, so is a little risk.

Sharp7

The GTA Royal Edition is out soon, seems like it is worth waiting for with the season pass + extra dungeon and the rest.
