Not all do I was Circumcised 2 years ago, ended up removing my own as they got itchy and annoying.

Fairly useful for things like splinters. Good it's sterile.

Lie still and open wide madam............. I've watched House

I ain't a doctor so don't take this as advice but I have removed my own stitches on a few occasions. From my hands twice and once from my chest. It was really simple, just needed scissors to cut the knots off the thread and didn't hurt at all - until I pulled too fast and the friction built up a bit!

Suture you sir?

Boo, no £1 no rush reward, just noticed £10 min spend for it. Thought we might have stumbled upon the best Amazon loophole ever ... :-(

Thanks ordered!

These are the best when in stock:

No subscribe and save. Surely it's more cost effective for Amazon to do that so it can be delivered with other items rather than on it's own. I guess I'll be getting more finger dressings to make 5 items for the 15% off! :D

These are great for blisters! Good price. Thanks for sharing

Great thank you

Basically, yes. Try Google search for 'hotspot running zinc oxide' and ignore the dog-related results!! A smooth layer of zinc oxide tape will prevent blisters.

I constantly get blisters on my heels. Do I just buy normal zinc oxide tape?

I've taken advantage of plenty of these small items in the past few weeks that Amazon have suddenly started delivering next day, when previously they would have been add-on items (£20+ spend) or the real cost of postage would have been built into the price. Have they suddenly started delivering these small items at a loss to purposefully knock out as many high street and small shops as possible as the economy re-opens, permanently changing people's shopping habits?

Don't take it that way. I wasn't disputing the fact that the vast majority of catering plasters are blue. All I was doing was correcting your assertion that there is any official government code saying they have to be blue.

I bought a load of the none visually detectable plasters . . . can't seem to find them now. 🤦

You have to much time on your hands, I’m not about to have a debate with you about the regs of plasters. Maybe if you’re that invested in it, go get a job in the field and be amazed when you see blue plasters in the first aid kits.

Considering the range of skin tones worldwide, there is really no such thing as skin-coloured. I'm guessing the average Maasai warrior would not be too impressed if presented with one of our pink-coloured plasters and told it was flesh-coloured. I did get more serious about this and had a look for the actual regs. I may be wrong but I couldn't find any, only an ISOH guide. The only stipulation in that is that they have to be waterproof "cover wounds likely to cause risk of contamination of foods (on hands or other exposed parts of the body) with waterproof dressings. Advice on Good Practice: It is good practice to use brightly coloured wound dressings that are easy to spot if they come off." So the food industry's de facto standard has just emerged as waterproof bright blue (not many blue foods) plasters with a metal strip (for metal detectors).

I don't see the option of a 25% voucher on the landing page that you are showing?!

True... but ribs cracking under my hands... I guess adrenaline kicks in at those times. One thing I didn’t know before the course is that once you start CPR, you have to keep going...

I know, I hope I never need to use it, but I'm glad I know how. I'm told that 30% of people who survive after cpr have a fracture, but the key point is that you've kept them alive, and the fracture heals much more rapidly than brain-death!

Definitely! Heat to your comment!

I agree! When I did my course I was silently praying to never be in the position to have to press a person’s chest THAT hard!

I hope they are not useless as the normal one or they will be falling off in food everywhere! 🤢

These are probably the best plasters imho

They are blue coloured to make it easier to spot, if fallen into food. Also there’s a piece of foil under the padding, so it can be detected by a metal detector (in food production, the finished product always goes through a metal detector)
